Harry Potter and House Atreides

Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born with a destiny beyond his understanding, is forced to unite the three worlds - the non-magical world, the magical world, and Caladan - to secure the future of his family and people. When a conflict breaks out between the forces of evil to take over the world as he knows it, he will discover a secret that will change the way he sees the world and begin the beginning of the end. Warning: This is a story between the Harry Potter and Dune franchises, here you will see a lot of Dune history merged as best I could with Harry Potter, all of this takes place in a slightly changed world but all the main characters will still be in the story with a changed development. The central world is Harry Potter, the Atreides house is set in his universe. Therefore, all the events of Harry Potter before Hogwarts happened in an equal but different way.

I recognize you part 1

The next day, Paul and Duncan together with Doctor Wellington Yueh headed for St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Sickness and Injuries.

Paul, all the way there, decided to remain silent but changed his mind. Still, there was still time, so he decided to learn about Yueh's words.

Wellington Yueh as a Suk doctor, has a far superior training and as if that wasn't enough, his wife is a Bene Gesserit.

Therefore, it could be said that Wellington Yueh's knowledge is qualified to listen to her words.

"True manifestation." Paul took out a square object from his bag and turned it on without thinking. This is a technologically advanced object that allows to display Paul's thoughts, mostly very visible, it was created by Thufir Hawat by Paul's orders.

The inside of the ship transformed roundly and showed a blank space, the capabilities of this harmless object is equivalent to showing fragments of Paul's dreams to the outside world.

"I want to show you something very interesting, Yueh." Paul held the cube in his hands.

"My lord, you can consult with me on anything you wish."

Yueh walked to Paul's side, his gaze expressed a very deep attention and he kept silent about what Paul was about to tell him.

"Could you imagine an unknown world where only humans live?" Paul asked lightly.

Yueh shook her head and said, "I never pondered anything like that, but I can tell it would be something totally different."

"It's very curious and complicated, maybe it's different in its development but it all continues in one direction."

On Paul's hand, a black mist emerged and spread throughout the room, with the help of the cube, he was able to explain with a visual demonstration.

After having Yueh's attention, Paul began his narration.

"When the war exploded and the human fought his way to the sun, his ambition never stopped from his early ways. Under their extreme arrogance the humans challenged the entire universe, they were a piercing threat and disgrace to all the galaxies, but even infinity could not supply their continuing hunger, filled with envy they rebelled and an internal struggle unleashed."

Over the images, a civilization was expanding throughout the universe. As Paul spoke, the images were constantly changing.

"Now, every corner of existence is trembling, only they made a grave mistake, their continued devastation awakened the creator."

"Stars die at the feet of the one who saw them grow, and inevitably every existence of life will be judged under the punishment of darkness."

After finding philosophy in development, Paul quickly found relationships between this unknown world and his own.

The more we know, the greater our suffering becomes. Many wish only to live and die peacefully around their family. Your desires are the same, but you can't rest easy knowing that at any moment someone could be knocking on your door looking for trouble.

This kind of connection between your dreams and what you want to do inevitably all makes sense. Sooner or later, he would have to make a decision on what he wanted to accomplish.

"It's funny, not many people are lucky enough to be led by the right people." Yueh looked around and said, "You must be careful, not everyone will be happy with what you are doing."

Paul looked at Yueh and nodded, he was aware that anyone could aim at his neck. Life is short yet long, many are envious about each other and just to make themselves feel better that envious person will stand in their way.

All the plans and developments he personally incorporated are coming to fruition. And he knew, it was only a matter of time before he began to face challenges.

"This new year will bring many challenges, new events will happen." Paul chatted with Yueh about a few more things.

"We are coming." A voice came over Paul's communicator that was in his ear.

"Good."

...

London, England.

St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Diseases and Injuries.

Purge and Dowse S.A. Warehouses.

After arriving at a huge building belonging to the Atreides family, Paul in the company of Yueh boarded a car to go directly to the hospital where the Longbottoms' son and daughter-in-law were staying.

At a store located in London, Paul and Yueh drove to the outskirts of a non-magical clothing store with brick walls under renovation.

However, hidden from the non-magical eye, this ostensibly clothing store is the entrance to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Sickness and Injury.

Getting out of the car, Paul looked at all the Atreides guards and said, "Wait for orders, me and Yueh will enter."

The guards nodded and Paul with Yueh walked to one of the store windows.

Paul looked at the mannequin and said, "I will visit the Longbottom couple, I am an acquaintance of their parents."

"My lord, wizards in spite of everything have good magical methods to hide themselves very well from non-magical people." Yueh said with a slight smile.

"That's very true, during all the years of being hidden, wizards implemented new methods to merge without being discovered by the non-magical world." Paul said calmly.

The theory behind using this building as the entrance for St. Mungo's was that injured wizards and witches could simply blend in with the crowd of non-magical people on their way to the hospital.

Once the dummy showed its consent, Paul and Yueh walked through the window. Once inside, Paul and Yueh found themselves in what looked like a crowded reception room, where several rows of wizards and witches were seated in rickety wooden chairs; some looked completely normal and were perusing old copies of Witch's Heart; others had gruesome disfigurements, such as elephant trunks or more hands than usual sticking out of their chests.

The room was not much quieter than the street because several patients were making strange noises.... A few wizards and some witches, dressed in lime green robes, wandered through the rows of patients asking questions and taking notes on scrolls clutched by clipboards.

"A very noisy and messy environment." Yueh muttered with a sour expression.

"Let's hurry, I want to get out of this place as soon as possible." Paul walked toward the reception desk.

Although the hospital is meant for the magical community, as with all other magical institutes, Muggles are admitted when they are victims of magical attacks, such as two Muggles who lost fingers to wizard enchanted doorknobs and had to undergo bone restoration and memory modification treatment.

There are strict guidelines for gifts that are allowed in the hospital, for the safety of the patients. As such, each and every one would be thoroughly recorded and inspected and it would be determined whether it is safe to administer them.

"Sir, what is the reason for your visit?" a relatively young witch asked.

"I came to see Mr. and Mrs. Longbottom, someone from their family should be expecting." Paul quickly replied.

"I understand, can you give me your first and last name?" the witch asked.

"Yes, I am Paul Atreides and the person behind me is my mentor Yueh." Paul looked slightly at Yueh and replied.

"Yes, Mr. Atreides." The witch quickly looked through the papers and said, "They are waiting for you, come up to the fourth floor."

"Thank you very much." Paul nodded and exited the reception line....

"Is it all done?" Yueh asked lightly.

"Yes, I know the way." Paul nodded and walked down a hallway.
