WHAT I AM CAPABLE OF

Kiaraa stared at the drugs in her hands intently like it was some sort of mystery puzzle. It was a yellow and black capsule and she had been taking it since she knew herself.

She thought for a while, 'Fish Brain', that was the name her brother referred to her as. This is because she had a very short memory capacity. But unlike her sister who doesn't remember people often because of work stress, hers was mainly because of her health condition.

She had selective amnesia, so her childhood memories were all vague or completely blank at some point. She couldn't dwell more on her past because whenever she tried, she'll get a brain-splitting headache. She didn't know the cause as her family did all their best to conceal it from her.

Although she acted casual about it, only she knew how curious she was about her condition. The drugs in her hands were meant to reduce some effects which she still wasn't aware of.

She sighed dejectedly, "It's my body, why can't I know about my condition. Must they keep the truth from me all the time?"

She felt cheated, she feels like they are all keeping things away from her but she couldn't tell why.

"Kiaraa!!! Hurry up, we are leaving now."

She heard the voice of her vixen sister and she immediately swallowed the pill before gulping down a glass of water.

She walked out of her bedroom and looked at the girl in front of her dressed in graphic tees with high waist jeans. She had her blonde hair curled and her face was with no makeup. She smiled a little, showing off her innocent side and Kiaraa scoffed.

With a bored expression, she walked back into her room.

"Where are we going?"

"Weren't you the one who said she wants to go back to Austin?" Lili asked back.

"Yes, but why are you coming along?"

"Because I am on two months break, so I want to see my beloved elder brother," she replied with a grin and Kiaraa scoffed once again. If only she could believe that.

"Now, hurry up let's go," Lili said and hurried her steps towards the door.

"Why the rush? it's not like we are going to miss the flight, after all, it's our private plane." Kiaraa stated and Lili paused in her tracks.

"I know, but someone is waiting for us" she replied with a faint smirk.

"Who?"

"You'll see when we get there, now hurry up," Lili said and walked out of the room.

Kiaraa sighed and picked up her jacket with her phone before stepping out.

In the hallway, she could see two maids struggling to push heavy luggage which obviously belonged to Lili. She shook her head and walked downstairs.

...

"Come back soon my love" Kiaraa nodded as she heard her mom's teary voice while hugging her. She shook her head inwardly, if only her mother knew that her beloved daughter was planning to come back only after she has graduated.

"Ara unnie, please come back soon," Kiyomi said and pouted lightly. Kiaraa bent and hugged the little girl before giving her a peck on her head.

"Don't worry my cutie, I'll be back soon and with lots of presents too" she said and lightly pinched her cheeks. She stood up and walked slowly towards her father.

"Don't forget what I said, father. You and I know very well what I am capable of doing." She whispered softly and looked at him. The man's expression remained as stoic as ever but she didn't care. She gave a light smirk before walking towards the car.

She glanced at her family one last time before waving her hands. She looked at her father again and gave him a small nod, this time there was a tiny glint in his eyes. She smiled before entering the car.

In the car, she glanced at Lili sitting beside her playing with her phone.

"So who do you say was waiting for us?" she asked and Lili paused.

"Wait till we get to the airport fish brain" Lili retorted and Kiaraa gave a short laugh.

"Says the person who can't remember the name of her manager."

"Sister-in-law..."

Kiaraa immediately covered her ears as she felt a loud shriek from a very tiny and annoying yet cute voice.

Lili glanced at the girl giving her a hug with a frown,

" Who are you calling sister-in-law? You are the last person that I would want my brother to get married to."

Lili ruthlessly declared and the girl let go of her with a slight pout. Kiaraa chuckled at their childishness and walked towards them after alighting from the car.

"Don't worry Somi, you will forever be my sister-in-law." Kiaraa cheered and Somi pounced on her with a tight hug.

Bae Somi, one of the members of Ultraviolet was considered the cutest among all of them. She had a cheerful personality with childish behavior. If one didn't know better, she would be considered the youngest in the group as she showed the exact example of a typical maknae.

"Say Somi, why are you following us back to Austin?" Kiaraa questioned even though she already knew the answer.

"Because I'm on a two-month break" the girl replied with a smile and Kiaraa eyed the both of them suspiciously.

"Same answer, but I'm still not going to believe you guys." She said and walked towards the private jet with a light yawn. She needed a rest, all this fighting had drained all her energy and not to mention that she had school the next day.

Somi and Lili stood back and stared at her retreating figure silently.

"Does she not really believe us?" Somi asked with her hands on her shin and Lili just shrugged.

"Hmm, her choice," she said before walking towards the jet.
