BEFORE I GET MARRIED

Adrian quickly composed himself and stepped out of the room. He knew what he wanted and he would get it now.

He took long strides towards his father's study room and entered without knocking.

His father was reading some documents and he glanced up to see the intruder who just stepped in without knocking. He wanted to lash out at the person but when he saw that it was his son he quickly swallowed his words.

"No manners again? Entering into my study room without knocking, what do you want?" he decided to use a softer approach to scold his son especially when he saw the dangerous glint in his silver eyes.

"What's the situation between the Kim and Lee family?" Adrian stated immediately without beating around the bush.

"Adrian that's none of your business. Leave that matter for the elderlies to handle" his father stated as he stared at the document in his hands once again.

"Leave it for the elderlies to handle? Ok, I just hope that 'the elderlies' handle this situation before I get married" he stated sarcastically.

His father looked up with a smiling face in contrast to what he expected. "Adrian are you planning on getting married and giving me grandchild? I don't mind if you're young but you can still create a baby right?"

Adrian got fraustrated, obviously, his father didn't get the sarcasm there. He sighed and walked up to the window. He looked towards the dark night. The whole place was completely dark and the moon was high up in the sky.

"She got attacked and I need to know if you had anything to do with it" he asked as he turned to look at his father behind him.

The man chuckled lightly, "You are right to suspect me son but have you ever wondered why I am one of the top business man in the world?" he asked but he answered it himself. "That's because, unlike everyone else, I don't act recklessly. Do you think I will be reckless enough to stage an attack after she was just announced to the public? Only those who are desperate will do that and I am not that desperate."

Adrian didn't reply for a long time as he pondered lightly on what his father just said. His father was right, he doesn't act recklessly but he still wanted to know the reason for the silly conflict between the Kim and Lee family.

"By the way, I caught her in time before they killed her and she's here" he finally replied and his father paused what he was doing as he looked at his son disbelievingly.

"What do you mean she's here Adrian?" he asked with shock written all over his face.

"You heard me right father, I said she's here" he paused a little and finally added "In my room"

A loud gasp echoed in the vast study room.

Kim Jihu, Adrian's father was astonished. His son not only brought in the girl to his house but have her in his room. Did he recognize her? he wondered.

"Bringing her into this house was a mistake" he stated when he came back from his shock.

"Why" Adrian asked and turned towards him with a dangerous smirk.

"Because of her father" he didn't say anything much but Adrian knew that he was hinting that maybe her father was watching them.

He actually knew that but just decided to play risky a little bit.

"I'll send her back when she is fine" he gave his final reply and stepped out of the study room.

He took a few steps forward and paused, he closed his eyes and raked his hands through his hair again and muttered with a tired voice, "I know you're there so just come out" and a faint laughter was heard.

A young girl stepped out from her hiding spot and grinned at him. Her skin was jade like with the same silver eyes that shone with a strong intensity except that her eyes were'nt as cold as his.

Her hair was dyed black but there were some few streaks of silver in it. She had a slim built with long legs and she wore a simple floral patterned gown.

"She's pretty" she commented immediately she got close to him. He just nodded and continued walking towards his room.

"Hey little bro don't be so rude" she shouted and hurried her steps towards him. He paused again and turned towards her.

"What is it Aera?" he asked impatiently.

"I wanted to know how your girlfriend is doing" she replied with arms crossed.

"She's ok and she's not my girlfriend" he replied abruptly.

Aera gave an over dramatic gasp which was immediately replaced by a teasing grin. She was a few years older than her brother but looking at them now, one would think that she was the younger one.

She was so easygoing and charismatic and her beautiful silver eyes didn't carry that cold glint as her brother.

"Little bro, don't tell me that you don't want her to be your girlfriend" she grinned again like a chesire cat.

Adrian stared at his sister boringly. If only she knew what situation he was in right now then she wouldn't have been here teasing him. "Can we talk about this tomorrow please, I'm tired" he said and that's when she took a close look at him.

He was indeed tired and his looks said it all. She was a little disappointed at herself because as the elder sister she didn't notice that her little brother was not alright rather it was replaced by her mischievousness. She wanted to know if it has something to do with the girl but she just had to push her curiosity down.

"Alright bro, take care" she finally resigned and walked towards her room.

He dragged his feet towards his room and opened the door slightly. The sleeping princess was still deep in slumber and he walked up to her. He couldn't comprehend why he was staring at her but that's what he has been doing ever since he got her here.

He couldn't deny that her looks were alluring but that wasn't the case here, he just felt drawn to her for reasons unknown.

He walked towards the closet and came out with a blanket in his hands. He couldn't sleep on his king size bed because of her so he strode towards the sofa and layed down. His eyes were opened for a long time until he finally drifted off to sleep.

I think I'm in love with Kim Aera!!!
