Moonlight butterfly

During my research of soul arrow I bought heavy soul arrow to compare there magic structures. It took me a while but through trill and error and countless wooden catalyst I successfully recreated faron soul dart which did pathetic damage and it's only use is distracting and delay the opponent.

I familiarized myself with the estoc and at first it was a little heavy and my moved were of but after a bit of practice on the plant people and getting injured I replaced the with a short sword I bought from the undead merchant.

I browsed through the destiny shop again and after some internal conflicts I bought a research technique as a long term advestment and I created a new spell designed to pierce. The piercing spell is basically a soul arrow edited into a drill bit that rotates when fired creating a piercing spell.

The first successful test I did after creating the spell was against a stone knight, using lock-on on it's head and firing a piercing arrow into it's going through leaving cracks around the hole in it's helmet. Of course what happened next I will never forget, while I was distracted by silently celebrating my success I died because as it turns out it's animated armor and to destroy it you ether of course break it to pieces which is hard because of the vegetation holding it together meaning the best course of action is disrupting the flow of magic that's animating it.

The thing about the greatest stone knight is they don't wake up unless you get close enough to them so fighting them is pointless and stupid... But since I died to one and got revived at a bonfire which was a strange experience I wanted revenge and I spent some time on that.

My first revenge attempt I used fire toss which just set it on fire and didn't do any real damage to it and just made it look terrifying. Second attempt was just firing soul arrow at certain locations and repeating the process just to see the effects, discovered a new function called photo mode and took photos and campared the damages. Finally came up with a simple and easy solution to dealing with stone knights and that's using farron dart to hit certain places on the armor which causes the magic to leak, I could of destroyed them with soul arrow but that'll cause magic to stop flowing in layman terms farron dart creates a wound that bleeds and soul arrow creates a cauterized wound.

I just explored a little and collected all the loot expect for the elite knights set mainly because I didn't want to strip it off a dead guy, but I did pick up the wolf ring and equiped for free poise.

While I was treating the stone knight as a punching bag I discovered something whenever I 'killed' him I noticed the moss repaired him and I had I interesting idea. I set it on fire again and this time I didn't nope out after seeing it walk towards me and waited and sure enough after all the moss burned away and I destroyed it with farron darts and soul arrows it didn't repair, so I repeated the process until I killed them all creating a clear and ashy path towards the boss arena.

I mustered up my courage and walked up the stairs onto the bridge and I saw the moonlight butterfly doing nothing so I walked up and down the bridge and it still did nothing. I came up with a simple conclusion and it's asleep and I came up with an idea and after a bit of trail, error and blood I got snake venom and I posioned the flowers on the bridge. I looked at the moonlight butterfly just sleeping and I using all my mana used flame toss and it turns to ashes.

"What?"

"That was neat, now time to collect my loot."

[Obtained: Moonlight butterfly's horn, moonlight butterfly's halo.]

"Seriously I get a boss weapon like that and what's the halo? Questions for later after I look the tower."

He walks towards the tower leaving a cliff hanger.
