Cat Who Cooks
Good job Qidian International! Another project with missing content. Thank you translator for skipping important things. Ex: Chapter 01 where a VERY important explanation about the origins of the system is skipped!!! The missing part: "Explanation: The Culinary God System comes from a universe you do not know of, invented by the famous Dr. A, to help humans achieve higher levels of mental pleasures. After wandering to the Earth 2500 years ago, there have been 10 hosts, you are the 11th." (from Volare). I have noticed other missing paragraphs in other chapters as well. Such a good quality translations. I'm impressed.
1) There were a few errors in a few chapters. 4.5 for Translation quality. Too hard to try to fix after I've already went through it all. 2) N/A 3) I find it too repetitive. People constantly become shocked and don't want to pay the price until they taste it, repeatedly, when they see how no one that's eating it complains. Anyways, it's mostly good except for a few such things. 4) N/A 5) Not the most unique, but not really bad either. It has interesting concepts with the system that seems to converse and argue with him. It seems like a much larger background is planned for this novel than just Earth, however, so it would likely be too hard to judge until it goes into further details pertaining to the world. We don't even really know if it is a parallel world or actually meant to be on Earth or what. All in all it's quite interesting so far, but currently unjudgable for the most part, really.
I'm glad that there's someone continuing the translation from 1001, but man, the many (mostly minor) mistakes hits the writing quality hard. If you've read machine translations before, then this a just a little bit better than it and has you thinking that the translator is trying to make a quick buck.
Welcome to master chef kitchen with ocd disease Everything must done corectly In spare time he practice with knife to practice knife skill with carfing statue from fruit and vegetables Even tofu and ice as you see in god of cookery by stephen chow He has one rule. Or two First you must finish all dish you order or gona blacklisted forever Second you cannot order the same dish twice. But only book rules So you can order fried rice and order more fried rice set ( fried rice + soup) because they considered it as two separate dish on the list And one more HE NARCISSISTIC HE THINK HIMSELF HANDSOME
Really has become one of my favorite reads! Can’t rightly explain the draw but it could be the off beat main character with mild OCD who lost his parents and gained a cooking system. The food descriptions are excellent and will induce genuine hunger so read after meals or just before eating to increase appetite. Worth the stones and few filler chapters!
This novel has really grown on me tbh. Anyway this more of a slow paced slice of life type of novel. Sure it maybe repetitive at times with the making characters impressed and shock with the mc's cooking but it's not going to be a cooking novel without that and you really have to add their reaction the food right (seriously repetition isn't always a bad thing and it's more of a must in this novel) but they try to not repeat it without trying, they make it interesting on how random characters and side characters have different stories to tell and have their own personalities which makes this story unique.
I think this novel has some of most amazing character developments. Somehow even a minor side character can touch your heart, and there are many! Some even doesnt have names but still memorable. The translator also did amazing job with word choices including all the different ingredients and places and stuff, not making this feel too foreign, even if we know that it acually is.
