Wait, what? dollars? So this takes place in America then?
Well that's because the Chinese word for happy (pronounced as'Kuàilè de') sounded similar to coca cola (Kěkǒukělè) to the untrained ear. The joke wouldn't be the same with Mountain Dew (Shān lù).
Pretty much saying 'please give me your items so I don't have to kill you multiple times to get them' to my eyes.
For anyone who's confused, it's a Coke.
Here's a fun way for DLC to stand for in Pei's eyes. Daggers (in my back that I) Love Collecting.
Dear author: Ever played Fate Grand Order? 90% for crit rate can still fail as much as 10%.
...so where would the 'duck-rear super gold godly left breast underwear wedgie' rank be at? What? Considering how many levels of whatever in a typical chinese novel, I wouldn't blink an eye if my made up rank was actually a thing!
We get it! 10 is normal person! We don't need to know it all the time. Silly Chinese with their need for a certain word limit to get paid.
(Sarcasm mode) Oh yes! I am a pervert! I just love breaking my bones as it gets me off! (end Sarcasm mode) I'm guessing 'pervert' was meant to be 'freak' or something else.
Wait, so the system can buy stuff with the user's own points? Mixed feelings about that.
Ah yes, only through facing death causes one to remember that they are one big group of Chinese that share the same bowl called the Military Forces.
...and gender change...now what's left is wrong names and we get true raw MTL levels.
...I hate the fact that my mind can switch the meaning into something I did not want to think about and wish for brain bleach.
There's quite a bit of mistakes in even remembering the amount of numbers that you may as well take it with a grain of salt and ignore the numbers for the sake of your sanity. Just take it as 'you don't have enough' and 'you have enough' because that's all it amounts to. As best as I can see it, this story is a somewhat cleaned up MTL translation without a good editor so far as of chapter 21: Names aren't changing and nobody got mistaken as a different gender yet. Any references that indicate an 'I', 'he/she' or 'they' are sometimes incorrect. As I have only read a bit so far, other than rating the writing quality as below average, everything else is considered as 'fine, I guess...' or 'I've read worse.' level.
This is what happens when one reads these kind of novels for years: When I saw the name, I thought of a certain lucky man from a certain chat group.
More like improving than not knowing how to do it. That and you'd be surprised how many people can be a 'chef' who haven't a clue on the basics, yet allowed to serve in legit restaurants.
Considering if there's any place with a ramp...it kinda can in a way.
You know, I just realized that back when they were playing The Legend of Mir 2, I remember that they had the video chat option on the computers. Anyone else remember that?
I'm going to argue that so far, this translator is slightly better than the ones who are updating the older unfinished novels with raw/unedited machine translations from other places. I'll take back my judgement if it's wrong later on in this story.
What? No harem jokes here to annoy the author? What a shame. I'll create one then. Jin now has her respect...that's a step towards admiration, then like, then wanting to have his babies and helping the System to enable the harem route.
