Chapter 119: The Beginning Of A New Age

Slade showed a surprised expression when his name was called out by Arias. He didn't hesitate however to come forward. But went the extra mile and got on one knee.

"I'm honored" he said is the most formal tone he could muster.

"Formalities are unnecessary." Arias bluntly points out but Slade remains on one knee.

"It's for finesse...." he answered, causing everyone to lose the little respect they gave him at that moment.

"Bestow" Arias let him do as he pleased and bestowed power upon him.

The process didn't last long and Slade soon opened his eyes to find he had a golden glow around his body. Arias said nothing more and gave him a nod before walking away with Àpeiro and Nearítheá on his side.

"Congratulations Kara, I'm so happy for you" Rose ignored her father and congratulated Kara instead.

"She's not the only one whose immortal you know. Your old man is now a god, you should thank me because I automatically boost your market." Slade pointed out to Rose who still ignored him.

"So how does it feel KARA?" Rose ignored her father once again and made sure he knew.

"Jealous much? Fine, I'm going for a walk, wait walking is for MORTALS. I'm going for a flight." Slade announced before beginning to hover in the air and flying out of the building.

"It feels great, Rose. But this is only the start. I'm going to go visit Olympus and see how I can get stronger as a god as well." Kara said in an excited and determined tone.

"Haha...you're already trying to get stronger" Rose points out while chuckling nervously.

"I'm just trying to be useful to Mr. Leviathan. Besides, strong people join everyday... I don't want to lose my position as his disciple..." Kara answered honestly but her answer sparked fear.

It was true Arias was always on the lookout for strong recruits, if someone like Kara who was already the second strongest outside the unreachable 3 then what about them.

A/N: Unreachable 3 are Àpeiro, Arias and Nearítheá. People whose power they can't reach no matter how much powers they are bestowed or training they do.

"Raven? Wanna join me on Olympus?" Kara asked excitedly but Raven shook her head.

"I'm going to meditate" She answered quickly before opening a portal and vanishing through it.

Soon everyone present began to make excuses to leave when really they went to either train or be useful as the thought of being replaced was now in their minds.

"You kind of made everyone feel like they don't work hard enough...anyway I should go do my school work." Rose stated before waving at Kara and leaving.

"Hey I'll come along to Olympus if you want." Billy offered while hovering near her. Kara looked a bit sad but nodded still.

Meanwhile in the halls,

"Seems your mind games are working" Àpeiro suddenly said while walking with Arias and Nearítheá.

"I admit to nothing" Arias replied with a slight smirk on his face.

"Admitting what? Mind games?" A confused Nearítheá walls between the two and asks but gets no answer causing her to cross her arms and frown.

"Fine! Keep your secrets."

Soon they finally reached the lab where Shay was smirking victoriously.

"You seem happy. Something I should know?" Arias walked forward and asked before pulling her into his embrace.

Shay was a bit resistant as she felt awkward being intimate in front of Àpeiro. Àpeiro however said nothing and showed her usual gentle look. Unlike Nearítheá who stared menacingly. That is until Àpeiro shifted her gaze to her, making her lower her head with a pout.

"Well?" Arias asked, causing Shay to stop thinking to herself.

"Oh yes...The Project is Ready" She Answered while showing her victorious smirk once more.

"I'm beginning to think you set deadlines simply to beat them Shay." Arias states to which Shay chuckled.

"But that also means you didn't rest like I asked you to...we'll talk about later." Arias said in a low tone before giving her ass a small gripe and pulling away.

Shay's face became slightly red while she began to worry about what he had planned.

"W-when do you want to have the project launched" She asked, unable to turn her mind away from what may happen.

"Now" He said, showing his own victorious smirk.

Minutes later, The four of them were now hovering far above the Atlantic Ocean. Shay took out a small device with a single big red button on it and gave Arias.

"How classic" He says to which Shay shrugs and Àpeiro chuckles.

"Big red buttons tend to mean importance. Befitting for this moment considering you're about to become the world's most dangerous man and possibly spark many wars in the process after you press that button." Said Àpeiro with a smile.

"She's right, that button will do many things that will cause nations to hate us or possibly start wars...." Shay said in a concerned tone but Arias remained unfazed while Nearítheá looked excited.

"Well we've already informed all our members to gather at those coordinates in the next hour. No point delaying the inevitable any longer." As Arias was about to initiate the project but was stopped by Nearítheá holding his hand.

"Can I...press the big red button?" Nearítheá asked in a pleading tone to which Arias agreed.

He tossed her the device and she showed an excited look before pressing it with enthusiasm. However after she did so nothing happened.

"Is it broken?" She asked while shaking it around.

"It was designed for Arias so you need to use a lot more force. Just about enough to destroy the planet. A security measure." Shay stated while shrugging her shoulders.

"Ohhh okay." Nearítheá's eyes glowed slightly as she pressed the button with such force that the shockwave could be felt throughout the world. Setting off a chain of events like no other.

"The world will never be the same after today." Arias declared while looking down with a smile.
