Sealed The Deal.
"Right after the launch of LJxxxxx model in the February."
It was the month of September, it meant from at least seven months. Seven months...with the best team of investigators it took two months for these cousins to find the city he was living in then it might have taken them at least four months to know about his city.
As the capital of the country, City B was a very big city so even after looking high and low to find his location would be like finding a needle in the hay stack. Because he had not yet come across strange people, it meant he was safe for now. If things are like that then he need to plan things thoroughly.
"I have decided to return."
Jiang Ying Yue choked on her food...return....with wide eyes she gazed at him. Guo Leiwu was seating nonchalantly on his seat like he never said anything.
"Return... return where?" In a daze, she asked him not understanding if what she heard and what she interpreted... were both the same things or not?
"Return to City S." With fire ignited in his eyes he gave her a reply while focusing his eyes on her. It's time...time to return. He can't keep himself hidden forever from the place he had been tied to.
Jiang Ying Yue felt like crying her heart out seeing him like this. Her eyes were already teary because of choking but now watching him like this... the burden that had been in her heart for so many months was disappearing.
"You...are not kidding, right?"
"No...I need to return for good." Need to return for the company he built from his sweat and tears...need to return for himself...need to return for his daughter's treatment and also...if he wanted to give Guo Yina a safe and secure life.
He can't give an assurance about how much time it might take them to find him but once they find him...he was sure that Guo Yina would be far from being safe. He didn't even wish to get into the thought of what they might do to her once his daughter comes under them. It was better to just end this game for once and all and that's something which only he could do.
Jiang Ying Yue watched him with concerned emotions. She was glad that she was not forced to bring out that trump card but there was also a slight hesitation and worry arising inside of her now, "Even though my cousins want you back by hook or crook but if you don't want to go then just tell me, I would help you."
Guo Leiwu leisurely smiled, "Don't you think you should decide it first whether you really wish me to return or not?"
"I do want you to be back but you do know that after going there...things would get busy and you might not be able to spend time with Guo Yina as much she needs right now?"
They definitely need him back for several reasons and mainly for the LCJ but his daughter...she only had him and she was in the need of his support more than anyone right now. Would it be okay to take her support now?
An utterly helpless chuckle was what came next, "I am not able to give her anything right now. She needs treatment and even that...I am barely able to do that. The reason I have been hiding for so many years is her safety and the reason I would be returning now is also her safety."
Hearing that self-blaming tone, she was taken aback. His weakness...he was being so open about his weakness. That broken look on his face suddenly made her wonder about the mother of Guo Yina. Who was she?
Instinctively the question was about to escape her lips but at the last moment, she stopped herself from uttering anything on realising what she was about to do.
That should not be the matter of concern right now. She need to fill him up with the updates and details of the next plan in that case.
"Alright, since you have already agreed on returning there are certain things we need to discuss about."
"Fine but before that I have a few conditions."
"What are those?"
"Firstly, I want my return to be kept secret. No one should be aware that I have returned except for your cousins."
"Not even Grandmother?"
"No...not even her."
Old Madam Jiang had been longing to meet him for a long time now but seems that...she would need to wait a bit more.
"Fine. Next."
"When I return to LCJ, I will take charge of the things through an anonymous identity."
"Done."
"As for my daughter, if someday I would be busy at work then please help me in looking after her."
"Elder Sis has already taken charge of that and is currently finding a specialised nanny for her."

"So, anything else?" Propping her chin on her hand, she noticed the time on the clock and met his eyes.
"For now, that's it."
"Just add in the future if you got any other condition. Now, my turn." Under the dim glowing light of the dining room, she got back to her previous position. "Because I had not thought that you would agree that easily, I did not come prepared. In that case, I will just email you all the documents about recent ongoings in the company."
"Apart from that, we want you to take back the position of the head of LCJ. Since you want to remain anonymous, I conclude that you might already have some plan in mind...let's discuss that in details when we reach City S."
"And because you want a safe and secure environment for your daughter, there is a proposal from our side. Actually, not a proposal but a request. Right now, because all of us would be living in Jiang Mansion, we want you to come and live in the same residential area."
"But you know that I don't want to mee-"
"Don't worry about getting caught! Last year, construction occurred behind our colony and two new colonies were formed along with another entrance."
"Since the formation of these colonies was planned after the trees behind our colony had fully grown so due to the prohibition of cutting of the developed trees, the two colonies were built in the plain area after these patches of the tree. So there is no need to worry about getting seen because these patches of trees are completely hiding those colonies."
"For the convenience of time, another way for entrance and exit was also built that is used only by the residents of Villa No. 21 to Villa No. 30; making it completely impossible for anyone from our family to bump into you. The Villa we want you to stay in is Villa 30 which is quite far from ours."
"Why?"
"For Xiao Yina. We know you might want to live in an apartment but that won't be secure for her because even if you want to act anonymously, you can't go on like that for a long time. And when that happens in the future it would be easier for anybody to track you down and then ultimately, Xiao Yina."
She was right. The people he would be dealing with in the upcoming months were vicious. If they were able to kick him out just as newbies then now when LCJ was under their control, how would they act?
Anything was possible. What if they end up kidnapping Guo Yina to use her against him? Now that he had decided to return, he would not make the same mistake by underestimating their ways.
Since the first hunch he had gotten back then, he kept on underestimating them by thinking how far they might go?
How far could they go? A strange loathe got onto him at this.
No one knew it better than him.
"Moreover, even though we are saying that your villa is quite far from us, if we were to come by walking through the backdoor, it is just about five minutes far. So in case, if you would be out for work then anyone among us could accompany her."
Guo Leiwu considered her offer and genuinely felt that it was honestly for his own good. Whatever she said right now was in his daughter's favour.
"From whatever direction I think about what you said, it is impossible to find a point that I could counter. Because it is the best for Xiao Yina, I agree with it."
The smile radiated from her face, "I guess that was all. We will discuss about all of these in more detail in City S, right now you only need to focus on packing yours and Guo Yina's essentials."
"Alright."
Looking at the time on her wrist watch this time, she got up and forwarded her hand for a shake, "Deal"
