Something Different About Old Madam Jiang.

Because of the rotors of the helicopter which were vigorously gyrating as a spinning cutter, the whole thing around them had solely appeared more ferocious.

With the intensity wind had blown strongly in its complete preeminence had given them the sensations of it being in its best temper to root out all the trees, the heavy rain along with the thundering dark grey clouds in the background were cherry on the top, all in all, that was the most violent sight they had ever experienced.

Guo Leiwu, who was driving the car was not sure if he should stop the car or continue driving it. If that happened, then they could still go on with their plan. Getting thrilled, she urged Guo Leiwu to drive even more fastly.

Just as he was about to drive up the hill where it won't be possible to chase them this way, they heard someone speaking through the mic from top of them, "Please stop the car! We have been instructed by Old Madam Jiang to bring you guys back to the mansion! We don't wish to use extreme methods so please cooperate with us!"

They were already scared out of their wits by what they had experienced just now and because of that, they had already lost all of their confidence but now hearing this warning, they got even more scared thinking of what might end up happening to them if they don't give in now.

Jiang Yuxin was quite reluctant to do as what they were ordered to because she felt that it was just for one more minute, after that they could go to eat the delicious food as they had planned but looking at the faces of three under-aged individuals and the driver who was only one year elder to her...she dropped her plan to go on further. Sigh, they looked as if just one more warning and they will cry their heart out.

If they could be hunted in this way, then anything was possible. In the end, having no other choice they had to stop their car instead of continuing with their plan.

"I still don't know how Old Madam Jiang got to know about our whereabouts especially when we had not even mentioned it to Butler He."

"Even if we had mentioned it to Butler He, he wouldn't have informed her. We had done it several times, telling him about where we were going but keeping it secret from others. And there was no way she could have tracked us with how technology was back then!"

"Moreover, I don't think there was any need to stop us going from somewhere near. It was just a small village that we were going to not some war place." Jiang Ying Yue continued her dissatisfaction. The fear she had felt after that was something which only she knew. Because of that terror, she had even dropped the idea of taking the permission to visit her parents in Europe during the vacations.

"I used to be very scared of her but something in her has changed ever since my accident. She had become so... so vulnerable." Old Madam Jiang's nature wasn't always this sweet one. She was the harshest and the most strict person Jiang Ying Yue ever met in her entire life. Remembering the severe proper training she had to receive even when she was sick just to behave like a rich Young Mistress, Jiang Ying Yue felt pity for her younger self.

"How would you meet her when you are so persistent to not come back?" She scorned while picking up more food from the chopstick and harshly biting on it. What she wanted from him and what he was doing were exact opposite.

She had not been thinking about this before simply because she did not wish to opt for this method but if he was to remain resolute like this regarding this matter, she would be forced to take out her trump card; more of what she was ordered to do by her cousins.

Leaning back on his chair after Guo Leiwu had finished eating, he started dwelling upon something while tapping the table lightly with his fingers.

"How much time it took to find me?"

Uh, he was back at the same topic? She was happy that he was initiating conversation but the questions he was asking were completely different from what she wanted to answer. His constant questions were making her uncomfortable.

Heck! She was not even the one to hire the investigators to investigate his location yet she was the one having a guilty conscience.

Shutting her eyes tightly, she replied with an exiguous forced smile, "About seven to eight months."

"To find the whole information?"

"Yes, sir!" Jiang Ying Yue forcefully let out the words with rice in her mouth.

"So how about just finding the city where I was living?"

Jiang Ying Yue kept her bowl and chopsticks on the table understanding that she can't run away from his questions and gulped water before answering his question.

"Because we were reported that you left the city empty-handedly so we had assessed that you wouldn't move to another big city with nothing in your possession. So we ended up searching other cities and areas first. Then one of our investigators who had come here for his sister's wedding saw you near the hospital and that's how we got to know about your whereabouts." Not to mention they also learnt that he also had a daughter after that only.

"Near the hospital?"

"Yes, you might have brought Xiao Yina along with you. He had seen you carrying a little girl as it was in the reports."

"Oh"

"But even though it took about two months to find the city, it had taken nearly six months to find your exact address. You had really kept yourself hidden." She grumbled recalling how he got missing under investigators' eyes every single time they followed him.

"Two months..." Guo Leiwu's voice trailed by the end as he got completely immersed in his thoughts. When he had left the City S, he had made sure not to leave even a single trace of him behind because he knew sooner or later his whereabouts would be investigated and that time he would be forced to go back either by hook or crook.

Even while staying in City B all these years, he avoided all the suspicious people and risky places. In the end, this was the locality he found to be safe and secure for his daughter so decided to stay in here which was exactly in the middle of City B.

Because of his daughter, he had to play psychologically, avoiding all the side places in the process where people in his condition would usually stay. And just as he had thought, they went to search other cities and side areas first giving him more time.

"About my daughter-"

"If you are going to ask that how many people know about her then the answer is no one except for us four. And if we were to count Qin Zihao in, then it is five and obviously our investigators." Jiang Ying Yue replied seriously. His daughter was the most consequential character among all of this, if even a single thing turned out to be not in accordance with his daughter, they should happily forget about having him back.
