11. Know your place (I)

I went to the infirmary and the nurse gave me a syrup and asked me to wait for an hour before I leave.

Laying in the bed right beside me was Emma and she didn't stop glaring at me. Immediately after the nurse stepped out "This isn't over yet Redhead, do you understand" she said "The only reason you won was because I didn't use my ability.....

Next time you won't be so lucky" she said in an evil tone "I beat you fair and square you know" I said to her

But deep down I still felt that if I wasn't fast enough and if she used her ability I would have been easily defeated by Emma. And to think she upgraded her skill to level 5 in one night.

Because last night her watch said level 4 but today it was 5. She must be from a rich family to be able to afford those level of ability orbs.

An hour passed by my wounds were headed and I was allowed to leave the infirmary.

"Hey, what's up" Audrey said, joining me at the table I sat at the cafeteria. "I'm good you?" I said then she answered " I'm ok"

"Did you hear about the level 2 student that defeated a level 5 in weaponry battle....

You're in weaponry class, so what really happened?" She asked excitedly.

"You were there right? " She asked again not letting me answer the first question.

"Yeah. I was there" I answered. "Ok so what happened?" She asked again

"Actually.... "

Our conversation was cut short when two students walked to our table. They were both wearing silver trainee watches that read level six. This meant that they were seniors unlike our own freshmen wrist watches which were black.

"I'm Brittney and this is my friend Craig" One of them said, pointing to the guy next to her.

Again the system showed a different level than the one on the watch that the guy was wearing

"And how can we help you?"

"You both are been summoned right now" The boy Craig said

"By who and why exactly?" Audrey asked "Just follow us and you'll see" The girl Brittney said. So Audrey and I got up and both followed them because we had no reason not to , they were seniors.

We walked for a while and to the stairs to the seniors cafeteria. It was almost completely empty and only a few people at the far end of the room caught my eye.

We got there and there were five of them sitting down, three boys and two girls excluding Craig and Brittney who we followed here.

Three of them were level 6 on their watches while the girl and the boy who sat side by side in the middle were both in level 8.

I could see that the girl and the boy were both very strong. But I couldn't quite figure out why we were called here, because it was unlike seniors to mingle with freshmen.

"You both have only been here three days am I right?" The guy Henry said standing up from his seated. "Yes" I answered

"And you are already stepping over your boundaries".
