CHAPTER 4 - Alice POV
Alice excused herself from her friends when their conversation drifted towards two afrobeat icons who was better than the other, the comparison was between Davido and wizkid that argument would never get old. In her opinion they were both great in their own different ways and statistics has shown that the fans were the ones beefing each other and not the artists.
Alice maintained her perfect smile while greeting her fans in the hallway and gracefully walked to the restroom, seeing her image on the mirror she heaved a deep sigh. "I am beautiful and precious she muttered while retouching her lipstick.
Alice didn't know the reason but she suddenly felt very tired and melancholic well who wouldn't feel sad in her situation. Outwardly she was living the baby girl lifestyle which she loved but in reality and inside she knew she wasn't all that plus her time was fast elapsing. Hmm breath girl, breath a lot of people would kill to live her life for a day she had everything she wanted a caring boyfriend, friends and family. Yuck she muttered remembering her sister hated her . She loved her sister a lot and annoying her all the time was her own fucked up way of love language, she admired her alot for being incredibly intelligent and achieving everything she put her mind on unlike her that his in the facade of fake friends.
Hey babe I knew I would find you here Troy a white skinned, toothy grin and basketball hero of the school mouthed scaring Alice a little.
Gosh , babe you scared me she muttered holding her manicured hands to her chest.
Ignoring her complaint and without apologizing he pushed her into his arms and said instead I missed you love a lot he tried kissing her neck but Alice pushed his mouth away but remained in his embrace.
"Cocky as ever she thought sconfully " Troyyyy what are you doing here? You know males ain't allowed into the girls toilet.
He gave his toothy grin again uhm I don't care I missed you.
Obviously please wait for me outside I will be right behind you.
No I want you he whined like a kid and he tried kissing her on the mouth but when she resisted he persisted till his mouth grazed hers multiple times.
Troy please you are ruining my lipstick and someone might see us just go and I will follow please she pleaded.

Same here she muttered wondering why she was lying to everyone and herself .
Turning back to her profile she realized she had actually never loved Troy maybe she fancied him at first because he was the most popular guy in school plus his father was the mayor coupled with the fact he was the best basketball player their school had ever boasted of therefore he was a full pacakage and all the girls were mad for his attention. Their relationship had kind of evolved the school hero and the prettiest girl in school it made sense they were the power couple thinking about it now Troy had never actually asked her out like properly. People had merely hinted on how great they would look together and one day she woke up and boom she was in a relationship with a boy deep inside repulsed her .
Alice fuck it stop all these thoughts your birthday is coming soon you have to act happy. Plastering her perfect smile of a girl that had everything she wished for she stepped out of the restroom to the waiting arms of her boyfriend.
