Chapter 5 - 65 million years later

In a remote location on a mountain, with a pleasant temperature of about 73 degree Fahrenheit, a quite environment. It is a forest area, so locals usually stay away from this location due to the fear of being attacked by a wild animal. But if it is necessary, they would take this road.

"Hey Papa, Dinosaurs were so cool. So big. I want to see one" said a young boy with expectations and enthusiasm in his eyes while reading through the book about dinosaurs. This book contain all the information and pictures about different types of dinosaurs. "Haha, sorry son. They are already extinct so you would not be able see one" said the father of the young boy. Both of them were walking through the forest to reach other side of the land.

"Papa, why are they extinct?". "Because when they were on the earth, there were large celestial objects that fell on the planet due to which they went extinct" said the father with a smile on his face. He liked it whenever his son asked questions like these. This showed him that his son is trying to learn new things. "Papa, when i become older, i will be a scientist and i will try to bring dinosaurs back". "Haha, sure son. You can be anything you want. You just have to work hard to achieve those dreams".

While walking through the forest, suddenly they heard a sound of someone waling towards them. They became alert. The father went towards the source of sound and saw a pack of wolves coming towards them. He took his son and rushed in the opposite direction but the wolves sensed them running. So they started chasing them. In hurry, father constantly changed his direction as to confuse the pack. After some time, he saw a desolate cave in front of him. Without giving it much thought, he went straight inside the cave with his son in his hands. After going deep in the cave he saw a stone slab and he hid behind that. After some time when there was no sign of wolves, father let out a sigh of relief and just he was about to go outside, he realised his son was not beside him. He immediately looked around but did not find him. He decided to go further inside the cave to look for his son. After just few hundred meters, he found his son sitting beside something.

"Hey son, why did you come here. I was looking for you!" said father with a serious voice. "Papa, look what i found" son said as he pointed towards something. Father went ahead to look at the thing his son was talking about. As soon he reached there, he was shocked to see a young girl, nearly 24 years old lying there, fully covered in dust as if she was there for a millennia. He checked and found that she was still breathing. He immediately took out water from his bag and splashed some over her face. "Hey, wake up. Hey, wake up" he constantly shouted to her while splashing water on her face.

Suddenly, her eyes twitched and she opened her eyes slowly. She saw a middle aged man with a young boy standing in front of her. She sat up with some difficulty. She thought to herself if she is dead or still alive. Last thing she remember was crashing upon the land and being sent flying far away from the point of impact. "What place is this?" she asked the person standing in front of her. "This is a forest and you were inside this cave when we found you. Are you all right?" father asked her with some concern. "Am i not dead?" she asked the man with slight confusion in her voice. "No, you are alive. But how did you end up here?" father asked her.

"I crashed onto the land and then was sent flying towards certain direction. Everything after that is blank" as she said she glanced at the book in the hands of the young boy. After looking at it she said "These animals were also there where i crashed. Are these animals common? If not i can find out where i landed" as soon as she said this the father was shocked. How can this be. "I think you have suffered from some brain injury. We should take you to see a doctor immediately" said the father with slight impatience.

"Why do you think i have suffered a brain injury?" the girl asked with confusion. "Because the animals you are talking about have been extinct for 65 million years. There is no way you could have seen them" As soon as father said this, the girl was extremely shocked. What? How can this be possible? I just saw them when i crashed here. Yes this girl is Shen, one of the four Generals that were sent from their home planet to this planet in hope that they can survive that disaster that fell upon their home planet.
