FRANKIE AND THE CEO

"I have one more year to go, I am twenty."

Bob smiled. "You look young and mouthy," he winked. "Care for a drink?" he asked as he whisked a waiter to them drinks.

Lily nodded but Frankie refused. "No thanks but I really love my health."

Carlos coughed sarcastically. "Are you trying to say that the rest of us don't care about ourselves?

"Exactly." Frankie nodded her head and looked at Carlos as if provoking him. A vein popped in his head. Tsk, this one... she had a way to provoke him.

He narrowed his eyes. "I don't even know why I am wasting my breath on you…"

"I was wondering the same," Frankie shot back.

Carlos gave her a glance and watched the crowd at the party. "You still owe me a shirt," he declared shamelessly.

Frankie turned all her attention to him. "I will give you one of my mother's extra-large shirts."

"What did you say?" Carlos asked his eyes narrowing. It was a look normally enough to scare people but this girl before him was impossible.

Bob and Lily sipped their wine as they watched the two bicker. Bob who was having more fun decided to fuel the fire. "Frankie, my dear, you said you're a great hacker and a coder?"

Frankie shifted her attention to Bob. "Yes."

"Why don't you come to the company tomorrow and show me your skills, I can hire you."

"No way, she is working in my company," Carlos refused coldly and somehow childishly.

Frankie rolled her eyes at Carlos and smiled at Bob. "Thank you Bob, you really live up to your name." then she turned to the he-devil beside her. "For your information, I rather die than work in the same roof with you."

Carlos and she stared at each other none of them backing down. "I even doubt you were invited here."

Frankie scoffed. "If I knew I was going to see your ugly face, trust me I wouldn't have stepped outside my door."

Carlos eyes twitched in annoyance. "You need to go to classes to learn your manners, for a lady you talk too much."

Frankie's eyebrows drew up. "And for a CEO you're a dummy!"

They continued bickering and glaring at each other the whole time the party lasted.
