HOME AT LAST

As the party reached its end, Bob offered to take Lily back home. "If you don't mind the two of us will be leaving. I will drop Lily off," Bob said and Frankie could clearly see how infatuated he was with her best friend.

She smiled at them and then stopped and frowned. "Hey, if you take her, who will go with me, home?"

Bob smiled wickedly and wiggled his brows. "Maybe your lovely CEO there."

Frankie looked over her shoulder at the annoying beauty that was busy sipping his wine and talking to some people seriously. She shuddered at the thought of using the same car with him. "No thank you, I rather walk home."

Bob laughed before he finally offered to drive her home. And she couldn't thank her stars being away from that man. That was the last time she was going to computer related high class parties.

Bob dropped them home and disappeared. Surprisingly her mom was waiting for them in the living room in the name that she was watching some drama. "You're home?" she hugged them. "How's the party, did I hear a car drop you?" she looked at them eagerly.

Frankie sighed and sank on the sofa. "The party was hell, please never mention parties to me."

Her mother frowned and turned to Lily for explanations. "Well, it happens that the guy someone knocked in the mall and showered with ice cream was the CEO of Robin Company and they continued to argue in the party." By the time Lily was done explaining, Frankie's mom's jaw was on the floor.

"CEO of Robin Company? You mean Carlos Rex, the cold blooded reptile?" she gasped when Lily nodded. "You insulted him honey?"

Frankie looked over at her mom and sighed, laying still. "He is an eyesore I told him what was true."

Her mother got on her sit and placed her hands on her head. "Honey, you don't know that man. He… he is bad news. He doesn't entertain nonsense at all. What have you done? I shouldn't have let you go?"

Frankie felt a faint headache coming. Why were there two miserable people in her life? she had just left a bigger one at the party only to meet another one. "Look, you can stop speaking because my ears have had enough of that dumb-ass at the party. And if you forget, I am twenty, old enough to do whatever I wish for."

With that she dragged herself to her room and fell on the bed.

Back in the Carlos' mansion.

"I can't believe you let that girl insult you, it was fun anyway," Bob said as he placed his legs on the sofa next to his brother.

"That girl, she is so barbaric!" his lips twitched in disgust.

Bob watching him went into a fit of laughter annoying Carlos more. "You…whoa!"

"If you won't behave yourself, I will kick you out of my house this instant."

Bob instantly stopped. "But she's funny, besides she could be great."

Carlos closed his eyes. "I don't care and let me not see her in my company Bob."

"Geez, you're so boring," he grumbled and walked to his room.
