Pampering him

Zuni had the most beautiful sleep tonight. 

In her existence of twenty-eight years, she was never this happy. She kissed her hubby and he kissed her back. Her heart was brimming with happiness. 

She scooted in her sleep and slept in his arms. He didn't even notice a thing. 

Hihihi. 

She sneakily slept in her hubby's arms. 

Wasn't she the luckiest and happiest woman today? 

This morning she woke up extra early to cook a delicious breakfast for her husband. Since she was happy, she was going to spread her happiness like a butterfly. She wore gloves, put her face mask on and made her husband's favourite breakfast. 

So, what if she had to throw up three times while making a non-vegetarian breakfast? She could do anything for her Baobei.

After cooking a few dishes, she was drained. Actually, cooking was not tough but vomiting early in the morning while being on periods drained all of her energy. Her stomach was aching badly now. She could handle this much pain. She was not that delicate. She had a high endurance for physical pain anyways. 

Even after all these discomforts when her husband woke up, she greeted him with a bright smile. "Good morning, hubby."

Song Jingren rubbed his sleepy face as he looked at her yawning, "Why are you so chirpy in the morning?"

"I am chirpy all the time, " Zuni retorted with an happy smile. "It's you who is frustrated with life all the time."

"Why are you standing on my head?" Song Jingren asked as he narrowed his sexy and sleepy eyes. 

"Hubby, I will pamper you today with breakfast in bed, " Zuni laughed like a happy little girl. She raised her brow and asked, "Am I not amazing?" 

"Really?" Song Jingren asked. 

"Mhmm, " Zuni nodded her head. 

Even though Song Jingren behaved as if the entire world owed him all the time, he was still a human being who was vulnerable to love and care. 

Everyone wanted to be pampered but Zuni was a person who loved to shower her excessive care on him from the beginning. She would go to any length just to pamper him. She was just like one of those overbearing CEOs. If she could, she would just buy the entire world for him. Unfortunately, she was always short of money. 

"I have to take a bath before —" Before Song Jingren could complete his words, she cut him off by saying. 

"I know you don't like touching food without taking a bath but I had a bath in the morning. I can feed you with my clean hands, " Zuni announced as she strutted out of the room to bring the food tray. 

Actually, she didn't take one bath but several to erase the smell of meat from her body.

 She came wearing gloves and she sat on the chair next to the bed and scooped lukewarm conge in a spoon before feeding him. 

Song Jingren looked at her and then at the gloves that she was wearing and finally at the dishes on the plate. 

"Zuni?" He called out her name. "These dishes contain meat."

"I know this is why I am wearing gloves, "Zuni told him. 

"Who cooked the food?" Song Jingren asked rather angrily.

"Me!" She pointed at herself. 

Song Jingren took deep breaths as if controlling himself from lashing out at her. However, it was very difficult for him too. "Did I ask you to cook for me?"

Zuni parted her lips but no words came out. "I just wanted…"

"You just wanted to annoy me!" Song Jingren said in a loud voice. He was too angry to sit straight. He rubbed his face in anger. "Zuni, did I ask you to cook for me? Do you know how I am feeling right now? Terrible. It's a sin for me to ask you to touch meat when I saw your condition that day."

Zuni tried to speak but he cut her off by saying, "Did you throw up again? Of course, you did. Did you take several showers to get rid of the stench? Obviously, you did."

He put the tray on the table and left the bed because he was seething. Does hurting yourself just to make your partner happy is love? It's not! She cooked breakfast for him, he was very happy about it but at the cost of her discomfort. He didn't like this at all. 

He never liked people going to extreme lengths just to prove a stupid point. Oh God, he was so angry that he couldn't see straight. Thus, he left the room.
