Chapter 1 : Part 3

"I HATE YOU!!" I yelled, slamming my door and sinking to the floor, hugging my knees. 'How could they...!?' The tears kept coming.

'I'm...so sorry Touya..! ...It's all my fault..!' I sobbed. I sat on the floor hugging my knees as I cried until I cried myself to sleep.

"*gasp!*" I sat up quickly, clutching my chest as I tried to breathe in and out. It hurt to breathe again, 'W-why? Why is this still happening? Why am I keep having the same dream?' A little bit of time passed and my breathing went back to normal. I looked around, noticing I was in my bed now.

'..how did I get here?' I thought to myself. 'I locked my door.. So my parents couldn't have moved me....ugh..! Whatever, I probably subconsciously walked to my bed without realizing it.' I looked at the time on my phone. '3:00 am.. ugh, it's way to early to be awake....' I sighed and laid back down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling.

-Flashback-

A/N: (Y/N) is the same age as Shoto. For convenience of this story Touya/Dabi is only a few years older than you that way there is no big age difference. Now back to the story!

I hid behind my mother's leg, gripping on to her skirt nervously. She giggled a little.

"Don't be shy (Y/N), this is Rei. I need to run a few errands, you can stay here and play until I come back ok?" My mom said. I looked up to her and nodded. She crouched down to my level and kisses my forehead. "Be good, and have some fun. I'll be back soon." She said before getting back up.

"Thank you again Rei." My mom said to the white haired woman. The woman smiled sweetly.

"Oh it's no problem (M/N), I don't mind watching her." She said. Mom smiled back at her then left. I just stood there nervous and looked at the floor.

"(Y/N)-chan, do you want to play with my kids?" She asked, reaching her hand out for me to take it. I only nodded at her and took her hand. She smiled warmly at me and showed me to where three other kids were playing. They were playing with a ball in the courtyard. The white haired boy noticed me first, he came rushing over to me.

"Who's this mom?" He asked cheerfully, a big grin on his face as he looked at me. I hid behind Rei-san's leg.

"This is (Y/N) Yumiko, she's (M/N)-san and (F/N)-san's little girl." She said, patting my head. The boy looked at me curiously, then his grin came back.

"Hi (Y/N)-chan! My name is Natsuo!" He said, his loud voice scared me a little. The other two came closer to me and I hid more behind Rei-san, gripping onto the bottom of her sweater.

"Not so loud Natsu! Can't you see you're scaring her?" The wite haired girl with red streaks and glasses said. Natsuo rubbed the back of his neck nervously, the smile still on his face. I felt a tap on my shoulder, it made me jump a little as I turned to see a red haired boy. His calm smile made me relax a little.

"Hi, I'm Touya." He said in a calm soothing tone. He reached his hand out to me. "Don't be scared, Natsu can't even hurt a fly." He said with a sarcastic tone.

"Hey! I can too..! ..I just choose not to, killing a poor innocent little fly is mean! You might as well be a villain." Natsuo replied, crossing his arms. I giggled a little. The white haired girl giggled too. "Stop laughing Fuyumi..!" He whined. We both giggled, and he smiled again and giggled a little too.

"See?" Touya said looking back at me. "We all just want to be your friend." He said, giving me a warm smile. I smiled back and took his hand. He smiled and lead me to the middle of the courtyard where they were playing before. We all started playing, I noticed Rei-san left, but I didn't feel nervous anymore. I kept smiling as we played. We decided to play hide and seek, Fuyumi as the seeker. Touya still held my hand as we tried to find a spot to hide. We crouched down behind a bush that was in the yard. I let out a small giggle.

"Sh..!" He close eye smiled pressing finger to his lips. He giggled a little too.

"5..4..3..2...1! Ready or not here I come!" Fuyumi shouted loud enough for us to hear. I peeked over the bush a little to see where she was. She started looking around, then she headed towards the tree Natsuo was hiding in. There was a snap sound and Natsuo fell out of the tree and landed on his bum. Me and Touya tried so hard to hold in our laughter and not be found. We heard footsteps coming in our direction, suddenly Touya sprung up from our hiding spot and jump scared Fuyumi and Natsuo.

"Boo! Hahahaha!" He laughed.

"Touya! You meanie, don't scare us like that!" She wined, punching him in the arm playfully. He just kept laughing.

"Hahaha! You should have seen your face! It was so funny hahahaha!" I stood up from our hiding spot and started laughing too.

"Awww not you too (Y/N)-chan~!" Natsuo pouted. We all burst into laughter, it felt so good to laugh with others. I've never smiled this much before, mommy and daddy are always too busy to play with me.. so I often played by myself. But I like this feeling, this feeling of warmth. 'I hope we all can be close friends, I want to feel this warmth more, I want to smile and feel happy like this!' I thought, a bright smile on my face.

We played more games and had a fun time, after we got tired we went to the living room and watched a movie. Touya sat next to me on the couch and held my hand again. I didn't mind though, it was.. comforting. Like a reminder that he was there. A strange fluttering feeling started in my stomach, a small shy blush crept onto my face. I glanced at him, and looked into his pretty eyes.

"We're friends.. right Tou-chan...?" I whispered to him. He looked at me, a little puzzled, but smiled and pat my head.

"of course (N/N)-chan." I smiled and looked back at the t.v, feeling the fluttery feeling again but I didn't understand why.

-End of Flashback-

'Friends....' The thought of never seeing him again hurt so much, I wanted to cry but the tears didn't come..

I spent the next couple days in my room, I only left when I was hungry or needed to use the bathroom. I was still upset at my parents and I was still grieving. I was curled up in my bed, I had woken from the same nightmare again and it was starting to bother me a lot. I didn't understand why I was keep having the same dream, every time I close my eyes I see it; The door, the blue light coming from behind it, the hysterical laughter and the terrified person's screams... 'What does it all mean? Who's behind the door? What was happening?' I kept wondering the same questions, but I could never find the answers to them. I needed to clear my head... I got up and put my (f/c) hoodie over my pajamas, I didn't want to wake my parents trying to sneak out. I slid my window open and the cool night air hit my face, I jumped from the window and grabbed onto the large tree branch from the big tree that was outside my window. I climbed down to the ground and walked to a nearby park. The cool air felt nice and everything was quiet, I sat at a bench and stared up at the stars. The stars weren't as bright here as they were in the country. I would often sneak out to look up at the stars with Natsumi when my parents were fighting, we would try to find the constellations together and it was really fun. Sometimes we would come up with our own star constellations. I missed her, I wanted to tell her what happened, I wanted to hear her comforting voice, but I didn't want to make her worry. 'I should call her soon... She'll think something's wrong if I don't get back to her..' I sighed to myself.

"*Meow*.."

The sudden noise startled me for a sec as I looked down to see a cat at my feet. The cat's fur was white with patches of black and orange and it looked up at me with it's green eyes.

"Hello little one. Well aren't you cute." I smiled a little as I reached down to pet it, the cat purred and rubbed against my feet as I pet it's head. I giggled. "Are you trying to make me feel better?"

"*Meow*" The cat nuzzled it's head into my hand and licked it. I smiled at the cat. It's ears perked up a bit then it ran off.

"Take care of yourself!" I said and laid down on the bench and closed my eyes. It started getting colder as a light breeze flowed in the air. I curled up and gripped my hoodie for warmth and pulled the hood over my head. I was already tired from loosing sleep from the nightmares I've been having, my eyes got heavy and I slowly drifted to sleep on the bench.

"(N/N)-chan.."

'...Tou-chan..?'

"(N/N)-chan wake up."

'Is that really you..?' My eyes were still heavy, I wanted to sleep more, but I felt someone shaking me a little.

"Hey, wake up kid." My eyes fluttered open at the low voice, my vision hazy as I looked up at him. '..Touya...?'
