CHAPTER 5

A man with a black tuxedo entered and his hair was nicely combed. His white face has flawless skin. He walked with firm and steady steps and made his way through table number 1. He then sat down and had his right leg over the left.

Everyone was watching him surprisingly and was wondering what made this man come here. He was none other than Mr Nick.

When everyone was gasping, one person was watching him with gloomy eyes -Ashen Zhang.

Nick raised his hand to the auctioneer to continue the auction.

The auctioneer nodded with a slight tremble in his body and continued "500 million from Mr Ashen Zhang. Anyone biding higher than that?? "

After saying these words, the auctioneer turned to see Nick with his trembling hands.

Nick was tapping the table with his fingers and watching the picture of the land on the board.

The hall fell silent and when the auctioneer was about to speak, a clear stern voice said "One Billion"

Everyone turned their gazes and saw the voice come from a table where Nick was seated. The people were stunned and were beyond belief by hearing the bid amount. Even Ashen face turned pale hearing the amount. Then the hall grew silent with no more biding. The auctioneer called "One Billion" and continued "And the land belongs to Mr Nick from Kingston group"

Nick gave a light nod to Andrew and then Andrew got up to the stage and took the cheque leaf from his blazers and handed it over to the auctioneer.
