Opening his eyes, Raiden looked around, once again, in a hospital, he was extremely tired, and he felt some weight on his chest, looking down he found both Kori and Raven sleeping on his chest, this filled his heart with discomfort, and sadness, feeling guilty, he tried to move but they both noticed his body moving, so they quickly got up 

"Raiden!" shouted Kori as she got up and hugged him, Raven did the same, making his guilt increase

"I'm...I'm sorry guys…I didn't mean to" Raiden spoke, his own words failing him, Raven looked at him, tears welling up in her eyes as she spoke "I don't want to get used to this Raiden, we don't want to get used to this…..I don't want you to be in pain, I don't want to see you hurt, ever, must you always be the one to fight? Always you, doing it for everyone?"

"I…..It's …my responsibility…. All this power…it must be used to protect people…And I…I'm the only one that can do it" tried to explain Raiden, this made Kori speak "but not alone! Why is it always you alone? Me, Raven, Carry, the team, Scáthach, and even Merlin, we can all help you, but you always choose to do your battles alone, over and over again"

"I….I just can't…I can't be sure of your safety, I don't want to lose you guys….I took a week's break and I woke up to my friend dead….I can't help it" said Raiden, with Wally's death still affecting him, he was lost, his fight with Superman, wasn't necessary, he could've easily teamed up with others to knock him out and then helped remove the mental note, but he chose to fight him alone, it was Anger, pent up anger that he had, anger at himself, and he wanted an outlet, somewhere or someone to vent on, and Superman was the perfect choice

"Raiden you don't understand," said Raven as she looked at him with tears in her eyes "I can't afford to lose you, not now, I….I…I haven't had my period in two months Raiden, so I went to a doctor…I'm pregnant, I don't want my child to always see his father bloodied and in pain" explained Raven, shocking Raiden with the information

His heart started to race, and a wave of happiness and joy filled his heart, it was a moment he only dreamt of, his eyes started to tear up as he hugged Raven "Tha-…Thank you" not knowing what to say, that was the only thing the soon to be father said, but then his heart started to feel pain, and the rush of realization hit him, if he keeps this up, he's going to leave his son as an orphan, he knew…Better than anyone that the world was in danger, and only he could stop it, and now with a child on the way, his determination has increased a hundredfold

"I'm sorry Raven, Kori, I…I'll be more careful from now on, I was so focused on protecting you girls, that I didn't realize that I was also hurting you with my actions, I'm sorry, I can't promise that I'll never be hurt again, But I promise, I will always do my best to protect you girls and our child, I'll do anything to keep this family safe," said Raiden, the girls had tears in their eyes as they hugged him, the trio shared the moment, solidifying their relationship

Since that day, the days went by safely, Superman was healed, and his mental note was removed, he apologized to Raiden, and begged for forgiveness, to which Raiden said it was all fine, not his fault, but asked him to protect his mind better, the Justice League's power and influence returned to its former glory after the return of their strongest members, with the light's leader defeated, they weren't sure if the Light was still operating under a new one, or had broken up, so the core of their operations had been to expose them, and arrest them

Of course, Raiden chose to take no part in that, opting to instead train under Scáthach and Merlin, he even had Kori and Carry train with him sometimes, hoping to increase their strength, of course, Raven couldn't join for obvious reasons

Raiden's training was focused on three things, Increasing his own strength without servants, getting used to his skills, and Noble Phantasms, Increasing his bond with his servants, gaining more Noble Phantasms, and being able to choose more servants in his Arsenal, and finally to increase his energy, so he'd be able to switch between servants much smoother, ever since his days in Odym, Raiden hasn't been able to smoothly switch between his servants, the amount of energy required and strain on his body was too much to just do it easily like he'd been able to do in Odym

After Three months, his power increased significantly, he gained many new Noble Phantasms such as learning [Gae Bolg] from Scáthach, many new servants he bonded with, and learning to change between two servants smoothly

Looking at all his stats, Raiden simply felt sad as he looked ahead and said "It's Ironic isn't it Wally? Servants I used to rely on, now I'm stronger than most of them, yet with all this strength, I still couldn't be there for you my friend" looking at his friend's empty grave, Raiden was saddened, his life has been great ever since the Reach, but he still couldn't get over his friend's death

"I too like to sit here and tell Wally about how my life is going" Looking behind him, Raiden saw Artemis approaching him, sitting next to him she turned to Raiden and said "I know you feel guilty Raiden, but It wasn't your fault, he died because he wanted to help people, he saved the world, because he chose that, it's no one's fault" 

"I know, I know, it's just that, the idea that I could have changed that outcome, It…" Before Raiden could finish his words, Artemis said "I need a favor Raiden, some sort of closer, for me, and for you" 

"Anything you want Artemis," said Raiden, he knew that compared to his pain, Artemis was in much more pain, and sadness, and he wanted to do anything to lift her up

"The Team hasn't allowed me, saying that it will bring me more pain, and I just couldn't make the journey myself since it's too far, but I want to go to the North Pole, where Wally had died, I want to at least be able to see the last thing he saw," said Artemis, seeking some sort of a final closer to her pain

"I shall take you there, you deserve at least that"

Flying her to the North Pole, Raiden followed the exact coordinate he got from her then he dropped down, there were still some craters and scorch marks from the Reach machine that almost destroyed the world, Wally, Barry, and Bart had to run at full speed around it, to pull it's magnetic effects to them, but unfortunately, Wally wasn't as fast as the other too, so the effect hit him, instead of his speed trail

Descending to the spot, Instantly, Raiden opened his eyes wide, as shock engulfed him, noticing this, Artemis looked at him saying "What's wrong Raiden" 

"I….I can't tell you" said Raiden as he started to sense the energy around him, his body was very familiar with this energy, as he almost died in a place that contained it

"Raiden please, Not you, you can't keep this away from me" spoke Artemis as tears welled up in her eyes

"Artemis, I don't want to give you false hope," said Raiden, with Pain in his heart

"I'd rather have that, than this empty feeling that I have now" replied Artemis, Nudging him to answer her

Raiden closed his eyes, to sense the energy once more, and be sure of it, when he realized that he wasn't wrong, he spoke "I've sensed a similar energy to the one surrounding this space, It's…..It's the Phantom Zone"
