Chapter 14 - Magic seed

After eating dinner, Jake showed Ben his room. Told him that he needs to wake up early in the morning.

Jake went to his room and entered the Farming zone.

He went to his private room to check the store to see what new stuff has been added.

Jake has been scrolling in the store, something catches his attention. The store has been upgraded, there are categories now: fruits category, vegetable category, herbs category this is a new one, herbs was not on level one but what draw is attention is that there were three new categories: magic, animals and factories. The last two were blocked so he can't use them now but in the magic, there was the magic seed and it for sale. The seed cost 20 Gold coins. Until now he didn't see a gold coin.

Jake was happy because now he knew the system will provide for him some animals and factories to build so he was hoping that day will come soon.

"Daisy, can you sell one potato to the system "

Jake wanted to know how much the system will give him for the potatoes.

"Jake it's night time go sleep, don't annoy me Meow" Daisy was on the sofa sleeping.

Who told you to laugh at me, now it's my time for revenge hahahhaha

"Daisy just do it, I won't take much of your time "

"Meow, Jake you can do it on the store stop bothering me," Daisy said. I guess she is angry.

Jake went to the store he found the sell tab and clicked on it. All the seeds he took from his mother was tagged zero so it means that the store only buys the store product. He has 500 potatoes.

To understand how he got this much, here is the explanation. The first day he reborn in this world was morning, he got the system before twelve afternoons. When he planted the potatoes they had 2 laps, every 6 hours they become fully grown. The first one is 50, but after they replant again they give an additional seed which makes two seeds. So, the total of the first day is 50 + 100 = 150, you need to subtract fives which he gave to his mum and the twenty he gave to Donna it will become 125. The next day the farm generated 500 then the farm was full he couldn't plant anything anymore. Today he took 200 and gave it to Donna. So, 500 is the fixed number whatever missing the system will replant them to make back to 500.

Jake will give Donna 200 potatoes and he will keep 50 in case of emergency. So, he sold the 150 potatoes. Jake checked his credit, he was shocked it says 1.5 gold coins, so its mean one silver each, he needs the restaurant to become popular, so he can edit the prices in the store.

No one will eat potato soup with the price of 5 gold coins. Nobel and rich people do, see he needs to do it fast.

In the new acre that the system gave him, Jake planted all the things he bought today, but he made the largest portion for the Camellia Sinensis. He wants to taste just how amazing it will be.

Jake left the room, went to the bathroom to take a hot shower after a long day, after that he went to sleep.

Next day, he woke up early, wash his face and his teeth. He left the farm zone and went back to his room. He went to Bens room and wake him up. Then went to the kitchen, his mom made him breakfast like always.

He left the house because he doesn't want Ben to ask him any questions about the bags of ingredients, Jake told him that he will come back home after the delivery.

Mike came, and they carried the bags on the wagon.

"Mike how was the work yesterday, you look tired"

Mikes look tired, he worked hard yesterday.

"It was busy, so we worked hard me and Suzy. Serving people is hard, I will tell you that, but there was something strange, I felt like I was able to handle the customers in the end"

Mike was curious, yesterday when the shop opened the people attacked the restaurant, Suzy showed him how to handle them. At first, it was hard, but when lunchtime came, he felt the pressure has left him, he could handle them easily which made Suzy a little mad.

"That means you are a fit merchant, you can adapt to the situation and act in the best way, that really a rare skill."

Mike is suitable to be a merchant. Today I will test his adapting to the counter today.

"Mike today I want you to learn from Jon and do some counter work related, I hope it will be as easy as serving the customers"

After the thirty minutes ride, they enter the town. They stopped beside the shop waiting for Donna to show up. After half an hour Donna and Suzan came together. We unload the bags in the store. Mike stayed like yesterday and I left for the farm. Today I want to see the magic seed do its magic.

It took Jake an hour to arrive at the farm. He entered the house and saw Ben waiting for him in the living room, he was helping my mum. He asked him to follow him to the farm.

"Ben before we start you have two options. Option one, you work here as a normal worker, work hard and get a salary. Option two is to follow me, I am a person with secrets if you cannot take big responsibility or one day sold me out you will be a dead person mark my word. You choose, you want a normal life or a special life"

He needs to train him to be obedient only to him or how can entrust him.

Ben was really surprised. He thought that he will only farm and that it. When he arrived at the farm it looked the same as theirs but bigger. Jake mom was kind and Jake himself was a good man. He took me in, bought me clothes and feed me until my stomach blow from satisfaction.

"Jake, I know that my words will not gain your full trust now, but I will make the time proves it. I will choose option two please"

Jake was nodding his head, agreeing with Ben, time will prove it.

Jake went to the corner of the farm, Ben was following him. He found a good spot, after that he took the seed from his pocket. He plants the seed to see what will happen. Ben was curious as well, what is Jake doing.

After one minute, the ground felt like it was moving, it was like the seed was a vacuum and everything has been absorbed by it. The black hard soil colour begins to change. The corners start to change to a good soil. It kept going until every inch of the farm changing from shit land to a new one which he could cultivate.

After the seed finished the absorbing process, it started to grow into a flower. A blue flower very beautiful flower. After it finished the growing process, the air which was kind of stinks began to go toward the flower, every place in our farm began to come to the flower. Like a small breeze passes through us.

Ben was so shocked, he couldn't understand what was happening. The farm that was like a stone road when you walk on it, suddenly after Jake plants his wired seed, everything changed, and the ground became soft and you can start cultivating it. His mum was at the entrance shocked as well, what is happening. She was calling them to have some snacks, but she got stuck in her amazement.
