Chapter 15 - Reforming the farm

From a faraway place, a tower was above the mountain, you won't be able to see that tower unless you reach high enough to see it. In a place, a human can't reach. An old lady sensed something and then she looked in the direction of Jake farm.

Jake was satisfied with the new environment. The farm will be able to cultivate again, and the air became fresh. He looked at his back and saw Ben and his mum frozen on the ground from the shock. He laughed it out and dragged Ben back to the house.

"Jake what was that, how did you fix the farm in less than five minutes"

Sarah was amazed by what she saw, she was over the moon from happiness, but she needs to know how did her stupid little brat manage to do it.

"Well I was strolling in town yesterday and I saw an old man, we were talking and when we were about to part, he gave me this seed and told me how to use it, I laughed at him. Today I found it in my pocket and I told myself to try it and it did work"

He used a lie to cover his secret so nothing unusual will happen to his family if anyone asked then they will point at that old man

Sarah was happy now they can farm again and regain some peace back. She wished Jake father will be here to witness it but the life that left you can't come back.

"mum I have some tea leaves here and some mint can you make us some tea"

Jake changed the subject he doesn't want his mum to keep questioning him. When he woke up this morning he was able to harvest so tea leaves.

Sarah went to make the tea. Jake and Ben went to eat the snacks on the table. They were potato's, like grilled ones, they crispy and salted. While they were eating Sarah came with the teapot. The smell was good she never heard of this tea before, her son becomes mysterious every day.

Jake got his tea, he smells it. The aroma of the tea is like the forest fairies so pure. Jake tongue became dry from the tea fragrance. He took a sip and the moment it touches his tongue he felt his buds start to breathe, his throat became clean and his stomach felt warm. A cup of tea the change one life.

Sarah and Ben had the same reaction as Jake. They felt calm, the room became quiet, everyone was happy in their own space.

After finishing the tea, Jake was thinking that he will never sell it in the shop, this tea is for VIPs only.

Jake and Ben went to the farm to start and reform it. Before Jake leaves this morning, he told Ben to collect some sticks.

"Daisy, can the system divide my farm to six squares fifty acres?"

Jake wants to start and plant some vegetable first. They grow up faster than fruits, he can plant some herbs and tea as well.

A robotic sound came into his mind after a few seconds, when it stopped. The farm was divided for him.

Jake and Ben start to putting the sticks and tying them with the rope as a marker area. They finished a few minutes before the sunset. After their hard work, Sarah had already made the dinner.

Jake ate the dinner and drink some tea to calm himself. After that he went back to his room, he entered the farm zone and took a shower and slept. He was so dead tired.

The next day he woke up, went to wash his face and his teeth. After leaving the farm zone, he went to wake up Ben. He went to the living room ate breakfast and left the house. This time when Mike came to pick him. Jake gave everything to Mike and return home. He needs to cultivate the land, plant the seeds and arrange the farm.

Jake and Ben started with their work early, Jake has never been awake this early before he usually does the opposite he sleeps at this time, but life here change, one nature and he needs to adapt.

Before the seeds could be planted, the land must be ploughed. After that they took a break it was a tiresome job, in the future, they need some animals to do it like an Ox. Ben was exhausting he took a lot of breaks. They just did two spaces. And It was the middle of the day

Sarah made a big meal for them, she saw them working hard so she needs to work hard too. They ate the meal and drink some tea with mint to relax. Jake was thinking of adding some sweet taste to it like honey.

They went back to the same two squares. sowing the seeds is a very important job to do. Once the fields had been ploughed, seeds had to be scattered into the earth. It is important to spread the seeds evenly so that there was a good crop. There are no machines to do this job so it had to be done by hand.

When they finished, the sun was setting down. After this hard work, they want to just sleep only. When they entered the house, Sarah pulled them to the dinner table to eat something before they go to sleep. Jake told Ben now he needs to do the rest of the work by himself.

Ben hit his chest and told Jake to not worry. It was a hard job for Ben, but he thinks he can handle it. The farm here is big and after the magic happened the land became easy to cultivate; the only problem is the space of Jake farm is big.

The next day Jake left for the town. He asked Mike what new things happened in the restaurant.

"Well first, Jon hired new people to work in the restaurant, two boys serve the customers and one girl to help Donna back in the kitchen. I now work at the counter. Jon compliments me and told me that I am a fast learner. I already know how to count so he didn't take a long time with me to explain. After testing me he was satisfied."

Mike was telling Jake with a proud look on his face. He thought it was just easy.

" I don't know what Jon told you or how he tested you but my exam will be harder, you need to keep it up or you will be replaced"

They arrived at the town and went to the restaurant, this time they didn't need to wait for a while, Jon was there waiting for them.

" Good morning Jon, why you are up this early, is the sun coming from the west"

Jake like to fool around with Jon, that's why they keep fighting all the time.

"Yo Jake, I can see that you gained some muscles you have been working out, No not your chest your butt hahaha "

Jon made a huge comeback at Jake, Mike was dying from laughing, Jake felt his head becoming smaller every passing second, he was so embarrassed.

Donna and Suzan came, and we start to unload the bags. Jon was looking at me in weird looks, I was covering my butt when I pass beside him, don't tell me he wants to eat me up.

Jon called me to follow him to the back of the shop after we finished stocking the bags. Man, please don't eat me, you are strong and am unable to resist, please god help me. When we arrived at the back Jon was looking at me with weird looks.

" Jake, something happened in your farm two days ago? Perhaps you want to share it with me."
