Ch 38-39-40

Ash's POV

"Persian, Power Gem! Golem, Rollout!"

"Diancie, intercept the Power Gem with your Stone Edge! Celebi, stop it on it's tracks with Psychic!"

Persian purred and then fired off it's Power Gem, but they were easily deflected with Diancie's Stone Edge, but she was about to get hit by Golem when Celebi helped out and used Psychic on it, stopping it from it's tracks.

"Celebi, throw it at Persian and Diancie, finish this off with Diamond Storm!"

With that being said, Celebi diverted Golem and threw it towards Persian, and the two just hit themselves, Diancie smirked and took the cue to fire her signature move, Diamond Storm, she aimed it at them, knocking them out instantly.

"No! This cannot be happening!" Giovanni yelled out in despare, he returned them quickly.

"This is not the end!" Giovanni said out and a ladder came out from above, looks like the helicopter arrived in time, he mounted it and escaped, Diancie was about to fire a move but I stopped her.

"No Diancie, it's not worth it, we should focus on the Ultra Beasts" I said to her, she quickly understood and nodded in responsed, diverting back to her original form.

I and the two mythical pokemons quickly ran towards the main ruckus and hoped to aid them.

3rd Person's POV

The whole battlefield was a mess, everyone from the audience have safely evacuated from the scene, and those who volunteered to help have stayed in the battlefield, the Indigo League was now in a state of emergency.

With those new Ultra Beasts coming out, namely Pheromosa, Xurkitree and Celesteela, that made things harder than before.

Pheromosa is quite a speedy Ultra Beasts, so those trainers who have fast pokemons took her on, but to no use, she's that quite fast.

Xurkitree have discharged electricities to everywhere, so ground type pokemons from different trainers took the cue to help protect each other.

Celesteela is quite a bulky one, it's firing off Flash Cannons everywhere, making it quite harder to reach.

Leaf and the others have arrived the scenes and helped the other trainers in defeating those Ultra Beasts, while Lusamine is busy handing up Beast Balls to some trainers and informed them to catch the Ultra Balls with it to minimize such damage.

"Garchomp, Dragon Claw on that thing!" Cynthia yelled out as she pointed at the Nihilego floating around some trainers.

Garchomp roared and charged at the Ultra Beast, slashing it with it's claws, good thing she also had a Beast Ball on her hand and catched it.

Ash also arrived at the scene, he looked everywhere and the place is a huge mess, Diancie and Celebi were worried.

"Diancie, Celebi, I want you two to scatter up and help the others, understood?" Ash asked the two, they nodded and then went on separate ways.

"Meloetta, Reshiram, Greninja, Lucario, come out!" Ash yelled out and tossed all his pokeballs, revealing the said pokemons respectively.

"You guys scatter up and also help the others, Greninja and Lucario stay with me." Ash commanded and then Reshiram and Meloetta made their move and rushed towards the scenes.

Reshiram burned the Ultra Beasts with deadly Blue Flare, and also at the same time, careful not to hit the allies. Meloetta changed herself to Pirouette form and then used Close Combat on every Ultra Beasts she sees.

"Greninja, Lucario, let's set the bar higher! Stronger and stronger!" Ash chanted, and with that, as for Greninja and Lucario, both at the same time had their familiar water and aura vortexes and transformed them to their own bonded form.

"Par up with those Pheromosas, and don't get hit, I'm counting on you." Ash commanded the two, they understood what he meant and then swiftly scattered themselves.

"Koharu, just stay behind me, Gardevoir, come on out!" Ash said and released his seventh ball, negating the rules of the pokemon league.

He noticed this just a month ago, but he didn't told this to Leaf and Koharu.

But now, it's now or never, the shiny Gardevoir revealed herself, but thankfully, Koharu didn't noticed the mystery because she was focused on what is happening right now.

"Gardevoir, stay close to us and protect Koharu." Ash commanded his Gardevoir, she nodded in response and got herself ready for incoming Ultra Beasts.

Koharu was really afraid, and now that this happened, she didn't know what to do, she tightened her grip on Ash while Ash is busy comforting her, saying that she's just fine.

Greninja and Lucario had agitated a Pheromosa, and they were surprised at the speed it has, but nevertheless, with their bonded form, the two of them and Pheromosa are in equal terms.

The professors are now in a safe place, but Professor Sakuragi can't help but worry about her daughter, but he's confident at the same time that Ash can protect her with everything in his power, he promised, and he should be responsible for that.

It was a one pretty hectic scene, the champions are busy on protecting everyone in their full power, they also managed to catch some of them using the Beast Balls Lusamine gave to them.

Leaf had all her pokemons out, as well as N and Gladion, saying to them what to do, their pokemons did as told, an hour have barely passed but number of Ultra Beasts seemed not depleting, and some of them have already reached their limits.

Arceus' POV

It happened, the whole place was a mess, wormholes came out of nowhere, and they're on the move.

"Hoopa, appear." I stated and Hoopa quickly and instantly appeared right beside me through one of his rings.

"What is it father ? " Hoopa asked.

"It is time, appear beside the boy and help him in any way you can." I stated, he grinned and then nodded, before making up another ring and made his exit.

"I do hope he'll be a great help to him, even if that means summoning the other legendaries."

3rd Person's POV

"Gardevoir, behind you, Shadow Ball !" Ash yelled and pointed at the Nihilego behind his Gardevoir, she quickly reacted and then fired off a barrage of Shadow Balls at it, after it was hit, more Nihilegos came out from nowhere, and all of them at the same time fired off Power Gems at Ash and Koharu, there was no way Gardevoir can deflect that.

Ash and Koharu looked in horror as the rocks were about to hit them, when suddenly, a portal sucked all of them, much to their confusion. The portal was still intack and something came out from it, Ash quickly familiarized the pokemon.

"Hoopa!" Ash exclaimed in surprise.

"Hoopa came to help!" Hoopa said and hovered in the air, his three rings floated and made those portals.

"Lugia, Ho-Oh, Rayquaza, ale hoopa ring!" Hoopa yelled and then the said pokemons came out from the portal.

Lugia was still in a vortex of water and hovered, revealing it's true form, it's white wings flapped gracefully in the air.

Ho-oh also came out from the portal and with it's particles, the worn out pokemons were healed by it, much to it being sacred.

Rayquaza also came out from the portal, instead of dark green coating, it was black, and as soon as it came out from the portal, it instantly activated it's mega evolved form.

The presence of the three gained the attention of everyone, as well as the champions, they were awestruck at the sight of the legendary pokemons aiding them, some Ultra Beasts diverted their focus onto them, and the three took the challenge.

And what is even more surprising, literally beside Ash, two wormholes suddenly opened, but it wasn't like the others, in fact, something also familiar came out from it.

The lion like pokemon and the bat like pokemon came out from it, gave it's screech and roar, and Ash was speechless on the spot.

"Solgaleo...and Lunala."

Solgaleo and Lunala gave out their screeches and roars, gaining the attention of the other ultra beast present nearby, they quickly rushed in and attempted to attack us when they got into move.

There's a pack of Nihilegos charging at us, Solgaleo took the cue, it's body glowed faint red, then charged towards the pack, it must be the Sunsteel Strike, his signature move.

And as for the other side, three Buzzwoles also charged at Lunala's side, so she widened up and formed a perfect circle, aimed towards Buzzwole, and fired off a large bright shadowy pulse at them, it must be her Moongeist Beam being fired off, they were both hit by the attacks and they flew away.

Solgaleo and Lunala both landed on my side, and looked at me.

"These pests have been really disturbed." Solgaleo stated telepathically, followed by a roar.

"I had dispatched the source of why they have been acting like this, and I'm pretty sure Leaf also took care of the others." I replied back.

Kind of weird but talking to these Alolan legends casually is cool, I don't know.

"Those pesky humans disturbing ultra space dimension, attempting to own them just for their evil purposes." Lunala stated with a screech. I frowned at that and looked at the surroundings, it was a huge mess.

Koharu was just right beside me, seeing the three legendaries up on the air was enough for her I think, now these two showed suddenly showed up out of nowhere. But that isn't the case for now, save up the surprises for later.

"Those beasts are ruining the place." Solgaleo stated.

"Let us handle this." Lunala followed, and with that being said, both of them hovered in the air and then flew towards some pack of ultra beasts, hoping to deplete their population.

As I stared at the surroundings, chaos is literally everywhere, I can see Lugia shooting off Aeroblasts everywhere, but careful not to hit some allies. Ho-oh and it's Sacred Fire being fired off to some Guzzlords, and Rayquaza rushing off in great speed, that must be it's Dragon Ascent.

As I look up things, I was also multitasking, the bond phenomenon was still there, and both Greninja and Lucario did a good job by not getting hit by some attacks.

"Greninja, that Pheromosa is strong, keep it at bay, use Night Slash!" I commanded through the bond, and I can feel that he's executing the command, Pheromosa's great speed was overpowered by Greninja, I can see through him that he hit her with the shadowy blade, Night Slash, seeing the opportunity, I quickly commanded.

"Lucario, don't let it get away, use the Aura Spheres!" I yelled out as I switch on Lucario's sight, he did the command and fired off the three Aura Spheres floating around him, it hit Pheromosa and immobilized it.

"Good, let someone catch it, don't let it move." I said and they grunted in response.

As I was commanding things, I didn't even realized that theres an Ultra Beast near us, so I quickly cancelled of the connection of them and focused on this for now, there were few Buzzwoles around us, good thing I let out Gardevoir to guard us.

"Gardevoir, Shadow Ball on all of them!" I commanded my shiny Gardevoir.

With that being said, she disappeared instantly on her spot and appeared on the back of Buzzwole, she fired off multiple Shadow Balls on their back, and she moved from one Buzzwole to another, all of them were weakened and I took the cue to catch them with the Beast Balls Lusamine gave to me.

And just moments after they were caught, Leaf and the others arrived at the scene, she quickly tackled me into a hug, which I was taken aback but nevertheless, hugged her back.

"Are you both okay?" She asked, me and Koharu nodded in response.

"But more importantly, where are those other four?" I asked her.

"She took them all by herself, which is literally surprising." Gladion stated.

"I can't help but get surprised too, she's your sister after all." N stated.

Though not biologically, but that's okay.

"They have escaped, but that's not what we should be worried about for now." Gladion said and I agreed, the Ultra Beasts are everywhere, causing chaos, this is much worse than them.

Hoopa had already flew away and hoped to help the others, and Gladion and N? They just stared at the scene, legendaries are everywhere hoping to help and save Kanto before the Ultra Beasts may scatter. Solgaleo and Lunala stopping thr production of wormholes which are reappearing everywhere, they are the only ones who can do such thing.

Some other trainers are rushing back and forth from the pokemon center and here, wild cards and champions are also doing their best in hopes to protect the Indigo Plateau, especially Lance, all of his pokemons were out and battled with their hearts and passion, they can't let Indigo Plateau have it's downfall, and the only way to prevent it is to take down the Ultra Beasts.

We've spent few hours defending the place, and I can say that the Ultra Beasts are depleting, but at the same time, the trainer's pokemons have all worn out, including me, Greninja and Lucario's bond phenomemon have cut out, they did that so that I can rest too.

Fewer Ultra Beasts were now present on the surroundings, some other trainers who still have battle fit pokemons are the one taking them down, my legendaries are still out there, defending, but they must be also worn out and are now lacking stamina to continue on.

The tournament battlefield have quite drastically changed, some buildings are ruined, the grounds have craters and was burnt out, smokes coming out from everywhere, it was a whole mess.

"Greninja, Lucario, you should rest for now." I said to them, they nodded but they refused to get sucked in the pokeball, they just wanted to rest outside.

"Okay then, get yourselves comfortable." I said to them and they nodded in response.

"This is quite a mess Ash." Koharu said as she looked around, the whole place was ruined.

"I know, but I'm just glad they're depleting." I replied, reassuring her, she nodded in response.

"I'm just glad you're also fine." Said Koharu, I looked at her and smiled.

"I should be, if not, I can't protect you fully." I replied back and petted her head, she got that red tints on her cheeks again.

3rd Person's POV

Leaf looked at the two, even in the middle of this chaos, she was surprised at the gestures those two were doing, she patiently waited on to where this one is going.

"I hope this whole thing will be finished now, I'm tired." Said Ash while resting up, there are still few small explosions occuring faraway from their place, trainers are still battling the Ultra Beasts.

Koharu handed him a bottle of water, to which Ash accepted happily and dranked it.

"Thank you Koharu." Ash said as he finished up the bottle of water, Koharu smiled in response. And after few seconds, came the silence.

"Ash?" Koharu asked, interrupting the eerie silence.

"What is it Koharu?" Ash asked while looking at her.

Koharu seemed stuttering, Leaf quickly noticed and listened thoroughly at the conversation, getting the excited vibe.

"I just wanted to say, thank you for protecting me, especially from those Ultra Beasts before." Koharu stated as she fixed a strand of hair above her ears.

"I promised Professor Sakuragi that I'll protect you, and I won't let him down." Ash replied and gave her his goofy smile.

Koharu's now flaring up and was uneasy about something.

"Koharu? Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" Ash asked and leaned closer to her and checked her forehead.

"Uhh no! No...I'm fine..." She trailed off.

"But you seemed to have one, are you sure?" Ash asked again, still checking up on her, Koharu's now really flustering because Ash's face is now few inches from her.

"I-I'm perfectly fine!" She said, flustering up more and more, as if her cheeks are flaring are now bright red, her heartbeat fastens, she's debating herself if she'll do it or not.

"But I can feel like your-"

It's now or never.

Koharu pushed herself and crashed her lips onto Ash's, she can't resist it, and what's more, Ash was really, really taken aback at what Koharu did, Ash widened his eyes at the bold move Koharu did.

And for Leaf, who was watching the scene at all time, couldn't contain the excitement, and went for the move Outrage and Uproar.

"Yes! Yes! Finally!"

Yes! Yes! Finally!"

Leaf came out from where she was hiding and squealed happily, Koharu, who was surprised at the sudden appearance of Leaf, quickly broke the kiss and is now embarassed at things.

"L-Leaf! How long have you been hiding there?!" Koharu exclaimed in embarassment, while for Ash, he just sat there, dumbstrucked, still calculating about what just happened.

"Both of you are so cute!" Leaf squealed excitedly and nudged at her soon-to-be sister-in-law. Koharu quickly got a hold of her, still embarassed.

"Uhh..." Ash trailed off, still sitting there in shock and surprise, Koharu, realizing what she just did there, quickly reacted.

"Ahh! I'm so sorry Ash! I-I couldn't help it..." Koharu quickly defended, Ash was still flabbergasted at what happened, he didn't clearly expected that kiss, and he was genuinely surprised at that.

"Koharu you just made a good move there!" Leaf said and teased her, Koharu covered her face to prevent further embarassment.

"L-Leaf stop it!" Koharu exclaimed while still hiding her face, her embarassment right now is beyond her imagination, she was just glad that there are just three of them.

Ash, who just calmed down, just smiled at her and petted her head.

"It is fine Koharu, besides, I think I find it cute." Ash said while petting her head, much to her embarassment.

"See? Dense as Torkoal." Leaf whispered at Koharu, to which Koharu just giggled in response.

"You still have a long way to go before breaking that thick dense skull of his, but don't worry, you are progressing." Leaf silently said and giggled to her amusement, which Koharu smiled at her and now she is really determined to get Ash's heart, even if it is still a long way to go before it'll happen.

...

"Greninja, Water Shuriken, Lucario, Aura Sphere, Gardevoir, Moonblast!" Ash commanded all his pokemons.

And also with the help of other trainers, everyone fired off their pokemon moves towards the shiny Guzzlord that is the only one left. Solgaleo and Lunala did also fire off some of their moves as well as the other legendaries.

All the moves hit the shiny Guzzlord, and obviously, those attacks are too much for it, and it fainted on the spot. It was the last Ultra Beast present in the battlefield. The shiny Guzzlord fainted on the spot, and Ash proceeded to go near Guzzlord and caught it with the coincidentally last Beast Ball they had. Guzzlord was sucked in to the ball and it was finally caught.

As soon as Ash got his hands on the ball, and raised it on the air, everyone cheered, their efforts have paid off, they celebrated, as if the whole battlefield was field with uproars, the champions were happy that the place was peaceful once again.

Ash gave the last Beast Ball to Lusamine, and with that final ball, that filled up a massive bag just containing Beast Balls with Ultra Beasts in it. Lusamine accepted it and went to investigate the Beast Balls even further, careful not to let out every single on of them.

The champions were amused at that, they were happy that everything is fine now, well, except that the whole field was a mess.

The legendaries also gave their loud cry, after that, the majestic Lugia had swooped down and confronted Ash, much to their shock, but Ash was unfazed.

"Young man, it seems that you've successfully put out this disaster, together with some other people who helped you." Lugia stated through telepathy, some other trainers were awestruck at the sight, especially the wild cards, they didn't even knew Ash had contact with some of the legendaries, and also some of the champions were surprised that Lugia had talked to him, but it is him after all, everything is possible.

"It is because you gave us the warning Lugia." Ash replied to Lugia casually, Leaf and Koharu was also that surprised since this is the first time they see the legendary.

"I see then, for now, I shall take my leave young man, once we see again, I'll let you capture me." Lugia declared, and that made the others get surprised once again, especially the other champions, they can't believe that he's going to have another legendary in his arsenal.

"Well then Lugia, Hoopa, I think you know the drill." Ash said and looked at his shoulder, Hoopa was there all the time, it nodded and grinned, before letting it's three rings float in the air and revealed a portal. Lugia, Ho-oh and Rayquaza acknowledged it and went into the portal.

"Ash, Hoopa needs to go too! But we will also meet next time!" Hoopa said, Ash smiled and nodded in response, and with that, Hoopa also entered it's own ring, and the rings vanished from the air, it is now nowhere to be seen.

The other legendaries like Celebi, Diancie, Reshiram and Meloetta also arrived, they were pretty exhausted, Ash quickly returned them to get some rest. The trainers around him can't still believe he owns those legendaries, but to Leaf and Koharu, all of that were pretty normal to them, since they were used to seeing things like that.

Solgaleo and Lunala also arrived at the scene, two portals are now ready for them.

"Ash, about time we head out for now." Lunala stated through telepathy.

"You shall not worry, we will meet again." Solgaleo followed with a roar.

"I hope so Lunala, Solgaleo." Ash said, they both nodded in response.

"For the time being, please hold onto this one." Lunala stated and something appeared right in front of him.

In front of him is someone a sphere shaped egg, it has a sort of blue glitters around it's body, almost looked like a galaxy on an egg. Ash was surprised at this, as well as Leaf and Koharu. He quickly got a hold of the egg and carefully lifted it

"Is this what I think it is?" Ash asked in disbelief.

"Yes it is, that one in front of you is a Cosmog egg, it'll still a very long time before that young one will hatch, so I'll look forward for it if we meet again." Solgaleo explained through telepathy.

Ash really was surprised now, he is holding a legendary egg. He should take care of this carefully.

"I will Lunala, Solgaleo, you can count on me." Ash promised, giving off his goofy smile to the two.

Satisfied, Solgaleo and Lunala gave off one final cry before heading out towards their portals, it soon disappeared and what's left is the egg, who's just sitting comfortably on Ash's palms.

He looked at Koharu and grinned.

"Koharu, I want you to take a hold on this one." Ash said and handed her the egg, much to her shock.

"B-But..." Koharu stuttered, she was now holding the offspring of both Solgaleo and Lunala.

"I'm pretty sure you'll do fine, don't worry, I'll be aiding you." Ash said and gave off his signature smile, Koharu loosened up a bit and smiled back, Leaf can't help it but giggle at the soon-to-be couples, she was genuinely happy for the both of them.

Until Mr. Charles came to the scene personally.

"Everyone, thank you very much for your cooperation." It was Mr. Charles, the head president of the league, although he was sad that the tournament was interrupted, and the battlefield was wrecked, he can't help it but cancel the league for now.

"I'm sorry everyone, but with them interrupting the league, I conclude that the tournament shall be postponed for now." Mr. Charles said with a frown.

That had the hopes of the other contestants go down, as well as the champions, they are really looking forward for the battle between Ash and N, and talking about them, Ash wasn't really that upset at that, as well as N.

"It is fine Mr. Charles, besides, it's so bad that I didn't got the chance to battle N with all I've got, but at the same time, I still want to venture more on different regions and explore more with them." Ash said as he pointed out Leaf and Koharu, they smiled genuinely in response, they are really that happy that they met Ash.

"I do second his opinion, head president, I also still have something to do that needs my presence, so I can wait for the tournament to get renovated and open once again." N stated. Mr. Charles was happy to hear it.

"Very well then, by the mean time, why don't you challenge the other small leagues?" Mr. Charles suggested.

Ash wasn't that really interested in joining another league, this was his best, and he will just wait for this tournament to reopen once again, and if that happens, he'll give it his all.

"I'll pass for now Mr. Charles." N said.

"Me too, I'll just travel and wait for this place to reopen once again." Ash said.

Charles nodded in understanding.

"Very well, if you'll excuse me, I should take my leave for now." Mr. Charles said and walked off from the scene.

"Me too Ash, I do hope we'll see each other again, and be sure to give it your all the next time we battle each other." N stated.

"Will do N, you can count on that." Ash replied and then N was about to walk out when he realized something and then walked towards him again.

"I almost forgot, I also want you to have this," N said and he showed up an Ultra Ball on his hand. Leaf and Koharu was surprised as they quickly knew what is inside it, same as Ash.

"Y-You sure?" Ash asked, surprised.

"I am, Zekrom have fully seen your potential, just with that battle before, he was amazed at the bond you made with Reshiram, he looked forward to do the same thing too." N explained rather in a calm tone.

"But would that make you upset?" Leaf was the one to ask as she interjected.

"Why would I be? I love Pokemon, and I respect their decisions, besides, I also agree with him, only you can do and pull of something that amazing, if that is Zekrom's wish, then I respect it, so please, accept this Ultra Ball." N said as he passed on the Ultra Ball.

Ash looked at it for a second before accepting the ball, N smiled at that and distanced himself from them.

"I promise I'll take good care of them, you can count on me." Ash stated, N nodded and was satisfied.

"I know you will, well then, I shall also take my leave." N said and bowed slightly, before walking out of the scene, Ash waved goodbye at him, and he was now out from their sight.

"You just got Zekrom." Koharu said happily, the Cosmog egg was comfortable on her grasp.

"Yeah, I won't let him down." Ash said as he looked at the Ultra Ball on his hands.

The whole crowd was dispersed now, and what's left is the three, so the gang decided to head back, but as thet were about to walk, suddenly, the the clouds thickened and darkened. The three of them halted on their spot and looked up.

Out came in the thick darkened clouds a massive, gigantic bone-like dragon, it covered almost the entire sky. Koharu, who's from Galar region, had the horrific look from the thing, she had the Cosmog egg on her hand tightly gripped.

Koharu just managed to say this words.

"Ash..i-it's an Eternatus..."
