T'Challa 'Black Panther' x Tech!Reader

When the craft landed the guards helped the injured while medical rushed to their aide. He spotted his mother and Shuri waiting for him. Shuri held her hand for tech, but her worried eyes scanned him for any injuries. She exhaled a silent breath, thankful he was safe. "It worked perfectly, thank you." T'Challa told his sister rolled her eyes, "That does not mean it cannot be improved."

"Do you have any improvements?" He teased. Shuri drew a breath before turning around and walking off, he noticed you waiting in the doorway for her. When Shuri reached you, she grabbed your hand and pulled you away. You smiled across the tarmac at T'Challa, who attempted to smile back but instead he turned back to his mother who was watching the exchanged. She smiled. "You should ask her to the New Year's ball." T'Challa froze slightly at his mother's knowing smile. "I do not know." He answered honestly. His mother hummed, "You two would do well together." T'Challa shook his head good-naturedly. As T'Challa thought over his mother's words and debated his feelings as they slowly walked over to Shuri's lab. He began to understand the way he felt for you and that he should do something towards these feelings.

T'Challa walked into the lab, he began to look around looking for his sister. He noticed you first, the light bouncing of your ebony skin. He flushed slightly when his mother whose still at his side makes a comment about him staring at you. Together the duo walked over to you, "My king. Queen Mother." You complete the usual greeting but without moving your hands as you were holding sparking wires. Ramonda makes some excuse and moves to see her daughter. His heavy accent washes over you, "Did you miss me while I was away?" There was a light teasing tone not-so subtly hidden in his words. You shrugged, "Whatever helps you sleep at night." He chuckled lightly at your response. Ramonda came over to let T'Challa know she was leaving for a meeting. Shuri looked over at her brother and her best friend rolling her eyes at their obliviousness. "Why is this not obeying the laws of physics?" You looked over at the hovering tech he was pointing at, the tech was hovering thirty or so centimetres above the table. "Shuri made it."

"That makes sense, actually." He admitted. T'Challa looked over some drawings that were spread over the table, landscapes and projects. Shuri made her way over silently. "These are beautiful, did you draw these?" You nodded and asked cheekily, "Since when did you start appreciating beauty?"

"Since I met you." Shuri rolled her eyes and moved away to tinker with her tech. T'Challa sent a disapproving glare at his sister when you weren't looking at him. She sent him one that seemed to say, "Y/N, would you like to go to the ball with me?" You blushed and glanced back up at T'Challa, a wide grin slowly appeared on your face. "I would love too."
