Chapter 17 : Let Me Thank You...
Blair’s POV
For a moment, I stand there completely dumbfounded. Sure, this is not the first time Raven has walked me home. It is the first time, however, that he walked me home after the two of us kissed. I still can’t believe I pulled something like that.
The moment our eyes connect, every part of me suddenly burns with excitement. Damn, I don’t know if it is his eyes or if it’s something about the way he holds himself, but holy shit my body feels like it is on fire around him suddenly.
A smile curls onto his lips as I cross the street and get within arm's reach of him.
“Evening,” he says smoothly, his deep voice rolling like distant thunder.
