Derek had made his mind on how he will solve this problem.

No one, including lily, can change his mind so having Eliza around was meaningless.

He was thinking about how he will take care of this problem by its roots. The more he thought about this, the more his aura became dangerous and menacing.

His lips arched up from one side as he closed his eyes. He let his head fall back only to be supported by the head rest.

If only people were to see him right now, they would be bewitched by him as the air of elegance enclosed his every move.

[Just 15 more minutes, lily I am almost there] Derek thought to himself.

Alina gracefully picked up all the dishes to put them away.

Lily watched her every move with stars in her eyes.

Her eyes were on alina all possible moments, it was as if she was afraid that alina would vanish if she took her eyes off of her.

Alina sat on the chair which was opposite to that of lily.

Alina's every move was as if she was wearing a shawl of enchantment which was without a flaw.

Lily giggled. Alina looked towards her with astonishment.

One of her eyebrow was hooked upwards as alina looked at lily.

Lily understood her and replied with another giggle.

"I just remembered how boyish you were when you little" lily was still laughing.

"Yeah…" alina gave a small smile.

"You even used to dress up as a boy. Mammy used to look extremely tried whenever she used to come out of your room and even then you would be dressed as a boy" lily laughed loudly as she remembered mammy facial expression every time after she had to help you dress up.

"And mama would occasionally come to help you get dress but would soon after with a sour face" lily was laughing loudly.

The whole time alina didn't say anything, she just smiled as lily was remembering their past.

"I wonder what happened to mammy..." lily stopped talking as she saw the slight change in alina expression.

Even though the change was for a fraction of second but lily still caught the look of regret, sadness and self blame on alina face as it changed back to nothing instantly.

The room was filled with absolute silence. Lily wanted to ask her if everything was alright but she couldn't, for some reason she felt scared.

Lily couldn't take anymore of the silence.

"Remember the time when our playmate confessed to you" lily had a cheeky smile on her face.

Alina was disgusted as she remembered the scene.

Alina and lily were playing with a bunch of children on that day. These were the same kids that come to their house on every Friday to have a play date with the two of them.

There was one girl who would always wear a thick layer of makeup even though she was 4 years old at that time.

At that particular day she came to alina with her face dyed in red. Alina thought that she was sick and asked her if she was alright, the girl kept staring at her shoes as she moved her head sideways.

Alina gently patted the girls head; it was an instinct at that time. The girl immediately looked up with her sparkling yet shy eyes and said that she wanted to be her wife.

Alina instantly froze; her hand was still in air as she started back at the girl in shock. Alina didn't know what to do at that time so she stood still at the same spot not even moving a muscle.

The girl took alina silence as approval. She saw that alina didn't move so she took the initiative to kiss alina.

Alina saw the girls face coming closer and closer, with her lips shaped in way that indicated that she was ready to kiss her.

Alina pushed her away in panic. The girl fell down on the floor with a thump.

The girl thought that alina was being shy so she stood up and approach her again.

Alina face lost color as she saw the girl was about to approach again. Alina turned around and ran out of the door.

She didn't stop running until she reached her room. She went in and locked the door.

The servants started to panic as they saw the expression on alina face when she running towards her room.

They quickly told the Eliza about what they have seen. After that the play date was cancelled and everyone was safely sent home.

When Eliza reached the hall after hearing what happened she saw lily standing still as a statue while lily looked at the place where alina was once standing.

Eliza called out to her but lily didn't reply. Even after everyone went home, lily still didn't respond to anything.

That was not all, alina also refused to come out of her room or open the door for everyone.

Alex broke the door open after he came back home from his trip two days later.

He found alina sitting still as a statue at one corner of her room, with blanket wrapped around her.

It was a hard week for the rosewood household.

Alina had nightmares about this incident for a long time.

"you know, I wanted to punch that girl so much at that time for trying to take my brother away from me" lily laughed loudly but there was still a hint of anger in her voice.

Alina felt a shiver went down her spine as the scene replayed in her mind space.

"That was a long year…" alina said it softly but lily still heard her.

"Yup" lily replied softly. They both sighed together.

Hearing each other sigh, lily again broke into laughter while alina just smiled widely.

A notification rang on alina's phone. Her smiled disappeared as she checked it out.

Her phone was connected to the cameras and motion sensors outside the warehouse.

She would get a notification for even a slightest of movement.

She was checking the live feed of two cameras placed at the front of ware house.

Alina saw 3 black cars and two police cars stop at the front of warehouse.

Many people came out of them. Almost all of them were men, one of which was Derek.

Alina was shocked as she further surveyed the footage.

Her shocked then turned to mixed emotions one of which was despise.

It was not because Derek came with people, when she had asked him to come alone.

This was because she saw Eliza came out from the other side of Derek's car.

Lily just silently observed alina expressions.

Alina saw everything that was happening outside.

Everyone was organizing themselves and preparing to go in.
