On the other hand, Alex was getting impatient by the passing minute. Alex is the father of alina and lily; he is also the head of rosewood family.

It had been some time from when Derek left with Eliza to get lily and alina.

Originally they weren't able to find where alina had taken lily to. They were all desperate and were using every possible way to get both of them back safely.

It's not like they had not seen video recorded by CCTV camera. They knew alina took lily away but despite that Alex and Eliza were trying their best to get both of them back safely.

They did everything but couldn't find a single clue about lily and alina's location, which was until Derek got a message from Alina.

Derek was extremely shock and thought it was a trick played by someone who has somehow got to know about their situation.

Derek completely ignored the message but then after half an hour he got message from the same number again.

There was picture attached to the message, when Derek opened the picture he felt like his soul left his body.

He was stunned to see the picture of unconscious lily that was tied up on a chair. The image only focused on lily and everything else was blurred. The rest of the pixels were so badly destroyed that they were not retrievable.

Derek was furious seeing lily in this state. He, at the some point, had forgotten of the people in his surroundings.

He read the message accompanied by the picture once again {come alone. Don't try to act smart or it won't be good. Address is XXX}.

The finger of his free hand dug deep into his palm as blood tickled down this hand.

Alex saw this and immediately got alert.

Derek stood up straight and was about to walk towards the door when he was stopped in his track by a voice.

"Derek where are you going?" Alex could see strong killing intent seeping out of Derek when he was about to leave.

Eliza was so deep in thoughts that she didn't notice Derek move towards the door. She came back from her thoughts by her husband's voice.

Derek looked at his surrounding realizing that he was not alone.

He told Alex and Eliza about everything without wasting his time. He wanted to act fast and didn't want to waste anymore of his time sitting here.

After listening to Derek explanation, Alex and Eliza relaxed a little.

They now know where their daughters were and they will be able to get them back quickly.

Alex offer that his men will go and get them both. Alex didn't want to let Derek go as he could see his strong killing intent, Alex was afraid that in an emotional state he might hurt alina.

Derek refused. He reasoned that the message asked for him to come.

At that moment Eliza also declared that she would go to.

At this Derek clenched his teeth; he was now having negative feeling towards Eliza for ruining his plan.

Alex knew that with Eliza around Derek would keep himself in check so he reluctantly agreed.

He also wanted to leave with them but he had to stay in the office to oversee everything.

Right now Alex was waiting for a message that they have reached their destination.

Alex was feeling awful, he was full regret and sorrow.

For the first time he feeling so little in this huge world, he couldn't protect his daughters properly and that he couldn't be a perfect father for them, right now he was feeling so powerless.

But his greatest regret was that he was unable to save alina from her destiny.

Four black cars were travelling towards location XXX. They were travelling with extreme speed when an accident occurred in front of them.

Eliza was shocked and wanted to help the people involved but Derek didn't wanted to stop.

Eliza sent her two family loyalists she had with her to help with the situation.

The loyalists were reluctant because those two were the only people who accompanied Eliza as her guards.

The rest of the people with them were either police or Derek bodyguard.

This was because Derek refused to take rosewood loyalist with him. He wanted his own people with him.

Alex first didn't agree to this but Eliza intervened that she didn't care who they were taking as long as she reaches there quickly, so Alex had no choice but to agree.

Rosewood was the name of Alex family. It is one of the super high ranked ancient families.

Rosewood is one of the three most prominent families in ancient times, and now it is the only family who managed to hold itself high even after all the changes.

As time progressed, the family lost most of their authority but they still are considered important.

As the distance left decreased to about an hour long, they were passing through a small village.

This village was more like a retirement facility, some people were here mostly to take a break and some people were here to spend their retirement life here.
