Chapter 33: The Solution

After five minutes they arrived at the classroom to attend the first period.

When the first two periods were over the third period was of Professor Shastri who always made his subject very interesting so they waited for him eagerly.

After sometime Professor Shastri arrived and greeted the classroom: "Good Afternoon class."

Students all together replied: "Good Afternoon Sir."

Professor Shastri said: "Hello Everyone! I hope that everyone remembers the last class which we had. It was about space so everyone had gone through the topic right and had done their own research on it. So can anyone who remembers and can take us through the topic for revision."

Many of the students raised their hands so Professor Shastri picked one of the students to answer.

The student said: "Sir, in our last class we learned about space and different kinds of matter."

Professor Shastri said: "Great! Now since we have already completed the required syllabus and actually we are ahead of our schedule in terms of our syllabus so we will talk about some different things which are also going to relate to our syllabus topic in some ways. Any guesses then please raise your hand."

Another student raised her hand and said: "The topic should be related to space right sir."

Professor Shastri replied: "Yes you are correct. However today we will not be discussing the usual bookish definitions but we will try to go much beyond that this time okay and I am sure that you guys will also enjoy a lot of this. So without further ado let's begin."

Professor Shastri continued: "In the previous session we have learned that space is basically an empty place where almost no matter exists and where the pressure is very low. If you are in space you will not be able to listen to any sounds because sound needs matter to travel and in space you will not find any kind of matter such as solid, liquid or gas in other words in space sound doesn't carry since there aren't molecules close enough together to transmit sound between them. Outer space is thought to begin at 100 km from sea level which is known as the Karman line and that is the syllabus knowledge which we have."

Professor Shastri asked his class: "Students, can you tell me how vast is the space or what is the structure of space."

One of the students raised their hands and Professor Shastri nodded his approval for the student to answer.

The Student said: "Sir we know that the earth which we live on is floating in space and like earth moon is also floating in space and rotating around earth in an orbit due to the Gravitational pull. In the same way Earth is also rotating around the sun, the star of our solar system due to the gravitation. In our solar system we have eight planets that are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. All the planets rotate around the sun through different paths and are bound by the gravitational pull of the sun."

Professor Shastri asked: "Good Answer and apart from this what else we know about space."

Again a few students raised their hands and the Professor picked one of the students to answer.

Another Student said: "Sir Apart from the Sun and Eight planets our solar system consists of countless smaller bodies such as dwarf planets which is Pluto, then the asteroids and comets which also have their own rotational path."

Then a few of the students again raised their hands and the professor picked one of them to answer.

The student said: "Our solar system is just a small part of our Milky Way Galaxy, however in the Milky Way Galaxy there are hundred thousand million stars in our Galaxy."

Professor Shastri praised the student for his answer then continued: "That is correct my boy however do you know that there are countless other galaxies too so we will not know exactly how big the space is now i have another question for you guys. Do you think there are any living organisms that can be found in space?"

The students raised their hands and answered excitedly: "Yes sir, there are definitely extra-terrestrial species in space."

Professor Shastri replied: "As per science we have not been able to find any living organisms in space, much less intelligent life forms; however space is so vast that we cannot say for sure if there are some intelligent life forms over there."

Few of the students raised their hands and Professor Shastri nodded his approval to speak for one of them.

The student said: "Sir if there are really intelligent lives present and if they are aliens like the way we see in the movies then why don't we see them for real or are the Governments just hiding some facts from us."

Professor Shastri continued: "I will not know whether the facts are being hidden from us or not however you can think of it in this way. Think about ants for a minute. You all must have known that the ants have their own colonies and societal system which the scientists have discovered but they live such a simple life. However compared to the ants we humans are so ahead in science and technology but do you think that you will go to ants and teach them about modern science someday no right because for us though we know that ants are also intelligent and they have a queen among themselves but we will not bother them in the same way if there is a intelligent life who can travel with the speed of light years and are so much ahead of us in terms of science and technology do you think they will bother telling us anything. No not at all because we will be like ants to them almost as nonexistence the most they might do is do some research on us that's all. However, we do not know for sure whether that kind of intelligent life exists or not so we cannot say that for sure."

The students were all very excited after the speech given by professor Shastri and wanted to ask more questions, however the period was already over so professor Shastri had to go for his next class.

Rahul said excitedly to Bharat and Gaurav: "Guys do you think that aliens really exist."

Bharat, who had previously had a bizarre meeting with a wasp, began to consider if he should share his experiences with his friends since he was unsure whether they would believe him or think of him as insane or bragging in order to gain attention. So he did not mention anything about the wasp because till now he has not shared the details of this encounter with anyone since he never got the chance of doing that previously.

The encounter with the wasp was very strange and mysterious so he was worried about that initially however with time since nothing happened to him and also he felt those sudden influx of power in himself he did not say anything to anyone after all his closest friends Abhimanyu, Karthik, Aarav have already gone to other cities to study and Pallavi actually betrayed him for another boy and if we come to the present scenario then Rahul and Gaurav were there but they were relatively new so he could not trust them with his innermost secrets.

Bharat decided to be silent as he did not wish to reveal his views on the matter on the other hand Gaurav said: "I think aliens do exist because the village from I come from had been one of the places where a UFO has been cited at night and as per the rumors in the village the UFO had actually landed on the field for some period of time."

Rahul said: "Yes I also think that Aliens do exist as I have heard that they have been discovered by the Government already however it has been top secret."

Rahul and Gaurav then turned towards Bharat and asked: "What do you think Bharat on this matter?"

Seeing no way out of this conversation Bharat decided to share a neutral opinion on this: "I think they may exist or may not I really won't know since I have never seen them myself only on the internet I have seen."

Rahul asked: "Have you ever seen the Eiffel Tower in Paris in person?"

Bharat replied: "No."

Rahul said: "So you mean to say that the Eiffel Tower does not exist right?"

Bharat rolled his eyes as he was amused how Rahul was pursuing his ignorance which he was faking.

While the healthy discussion was going on among the students about whether aliens existed or not which turned out to be very interesting for them on the other hand Mr. Shastri went to the staff room and went to his table after completing his last period and sat on the table with his books and documents which were his teaching materials.

Professor Shastri looked to be submerged in a very serious thought and it seemed like he was in his own mind thinking deeply about something.

Professor Shastri thought: "I felt it again today. It seems like there are traces of Tvisi around this boy because whenever I have come across this Bharat I have felt Tvisi and the day of the Sports Meet Competition when he was on the Sprint Race running on the Track I felt a sudden increase of Tvisi when he fell down and after that only the miracle happened he got up and won the race to grab the first prize. There is no doubt that there is Tvisi in this boy. I just need to tap it and guide him in the right direction in that way this boy will become one of the greatest heroes of Humanity."

Professor Devika said: "Shastri you seem to be lost in your own world. Are you thinking about me?"

Professor Devika who was one of the faculty members of the RMU College was prolonging her stay for a few more days in the Grand Cultural University to complete a project work after the sports meet competition.

Professor Shastri came out of his reverie and then rolled his eyes at Devika and asked: "Devika! When did you come?"

Professor Devika said: "I came just now however you seemed to be lost deeply in some thought. I am curious to know after all I have never seen you so lost especially at the workplace."

Professor Shastri said: "I was just thinking about that boy. I again felt traces of Tvisi around him and on that day on the sprint race track you also felt so much Tvisi around him isn't it so it seems we have found another candidate. We just have to guide and nurture him a little and he should be doing great."

Professor Devika said: "Yes, I even felt traces of Tvisi around that boy when he was running at the sprint track and it does not surprise me that he was able to become champion for this year. If the boy really has access to Tvisi then he should be recruited in our sect as soon as possible which is going to be beneficial for the boy as well as for the sect as well since we hardly find talented young men with traces of Tvisi on them and it has been a few decades since we got a talent with this much Tvisi in his domain so this boy is going to be the solution for our prolonged search of a new talent and our sect seems to be the solution for all the problems in this youngster's life."

Professor Shastri said: "Yes and if the other sects find out about him then they will also try to recruit the boy and also if the International Tvisi body found out that this boy won the competition through Tvisi then he may get prosecuted even though he did not use it intentionally or may never have heard of Tvisi but the International Tvisi Body (ITB) will not spare him so we have to save the boy."

Professor Devika said: "So it is agreed then since he is in your class you should be trying to recruit him as quickly as possible."
