Chapter 39-Return to the Necropolis of the Gods

In the morning of the Yulan calendar 10034. April 9.

Ernst wakes up from his bed. He look on the right side and saw Jenne's naked body, while on his left was the sisters Rebecca and Leena hugging him. They had a wild night together. It was started ten years ago, at first, it was only Jenne who visited his room. Then a few years later, Rebecca and her sister also visited his room when Jenne was busy meditating. Ernst is a normal guy who also likes beauties, and he had been eyeing Jenne, Rebecca and Leena for a long time. Training for a long time is tedious, with the help of the three girls, he can fulfill the needs of the flesh. He did not believe in marriage, so he did not marry them yet.

Now that he is leaving for ten years in the Necropolis of the Gods, the three girls wants to satisfy him.

Day turns to night. Ernst said goodbye to everyone. He left his fire clone to the Blackshadow Castle in case if some emergency happens.

He flew towards the Forest of Darkness to meet with his fellow Demigods, who will enter the Necropolis of the Gods together with him.

Arriving at the metallic castle, Beirut voice rang in his ears.

"Enter the metallic castle."

Ernst quickly enters the metallic castle. He notices, High Priest, War God O'Brien, Dylin and Cesar were already seated and waiting for his arrival.

"Sit down Ernst." Beirut looks at everyone and said with a mysterious smile. "Dylin, Catherine, O'Brien, the three of you stays in the Demigod level for the longest time while Cesar and Ernst are newly promoted Demigod."

"Dylin and Ernst, you two are only a step away from becoming a full God. O'Brien, you need a God spark to promote to a full God. Catherine and Cesar, you two should work hard if you want to promote to a full God."

"Now, I will give the five of you a chance to promote to a full God, get a God spark and experience a life and death battles to further your understanding in the Laws you are training. These is not free, you have to get it yourselves. If you survive inside the Necropolis of the Gods for ten years, I believe you will have a good harvest."

"I said before, you will start at the twelfth floor. In this floor, you will face Demigods like yourself. If you manage to enter the thirteenth floor, you will face Demigods who are only step away from becoming full Gods. All five Demigods nodded in understanding and went out from the metallic castle.

"Let's go." Beirut orders, as he flew towards the south direction.

All five Demigods followed Beirut towards the South Sea.

Arriving at the South Sea, a smiling green-haired youth, Tarosse smiling at them. "It's nice to see everyone again. Lord Beirut, would you mind if I tag along with them?"

"Of course, you can." Beirut smiles at him.

"Hahaha. Did you hear that, Dylin? I can tag along with you." Tarosse hook his arms towards Dylin's shoulder, but Dylin quickly evades and move away from him.

"Enough. Let's go down." Beirut dive down first.

Tarosse and the five Demigods followed Beirut under the sea. They travel very fast and reach the sea floor in a short period of time. Beirut opens the entrance of the tunnel leading to the Necropolis of the Gods.

"Follow me." Beirut orders them vanishing in the tunnel and appears on the other side.

Tarosse and the five Demigods also enters the tunnel. In a short time, they all arrive at the Necropolis of the Gods.

"I have already told what you need to know. Good luck. I'll see you again after ten years, if you are still alive, that is." Beirut laughs teasingly.

"Take care everyone." Tarosse said.

"If you are ready, you can all enter now." Beirut said.

All five Demigods nodded at Beirut and Tarosse, then enters the entrance leading to the twelfth floor of the Necropolis of the Gods.

Beirut and Tarosse look at the disappearing Demigods, turn around then left.

"Let's go Tarosse, we'll return after ten years."

Entering the twelfth floor of the Necropolis of the Gods, the five Demigods are vigilant and carefully observes their surroundings. The twelfth floor is similar to the sixth floor, which is a lava world. The twelfth floor is hotter than the sixth floor.

"My divine sense can only cover one hundred meters. How about you guys." Cesar asks everyone.

"My divine sense also can only reach one hundred meters." Said the High Priest.

"Me too." Dylin and War God O'Brien said.

"My divine sense can cover five hundred meters." Ernst said casually. In the Yulan continent, his divine sense can cover the entire continent. When he just promoted to Demigod in the Laws of the Earth, his divine sense can only cover ten thousand kilometers. But after making a breakthrough in his other elemental Laws, the range of his divine sense increase dramatically.

In truth, his divine sense can cover one thousand meters. He only told them his divine sense can reach five hundred meters, so as not to alarm them.

"What? Five hundred meters? That's five times our range." War God O'Brien said.

Suddenly, Ernst turn serious. In his hand, the Blackshadow sword suddenly appears. "Enough! Prepare yourselves. Fifteen Demigods are coming."

"Let's escape quickly." Cesar hurriedly said.

"It's too late, they already saw us. Be careful everyone." Dylin warn them. He quickly equips his weapon, the glove divine artifact.

The High Priest and War God O'Brien also brings out their weapons and prepare to fight.

Cesar hesitated at first, but draw his dagger and prepare to fight. "Can we handle all of them?"

"At my current strength, I can only handle three early stage Demigods at the same time." Dylin confidently said.

"Maybe I can defeat an opponent, perhaps I die this time. Hahahaha." Cesar laughs helplessly.

"Brothers, look. Intruders."

"After ten thousand years, finally someone decided to visit us. There is also a woman. I never tasted woman for a long time. Brother's, let's kill the four guys and capture the women. The eyes of the Demigod prisoners become murderous and full of greed towards the intruders belongings. They immediately surrounded Ernst and company.

"Kill!" Shouted by the Demigod prisoners.

Before the Demigod prisoners could move. Suddenly…

"Rumble…" The surroundings within a diameter of one hundred meters began to shake and an invisible ripples spread out, causing the stone and boulders turn to dust. Thereafter, ten sword beams heading towards the ten Demigods.

"Swish!" "Swish!" "Swish!" "Swish!"

Ten Demigod corpses fell down from the sky at the same time.

"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!"

Out of the ten Demigods, two divine clones suddenly emerge from within them and began to flee in different direction.

Seeing an opportunity came, Dylin, High Priest, War God O'Brien and Cesar immediately attacks the enemies nearest to them.

With a thought, Ernst collected the divine sparks, artifacts and interspatial rings of the dead Demigods. Subsequently, he watched the battle of his fellow Demigods and their opponents.

Dylin face two opponents, while High Priest, War God O'Brien and Cesar face one each.

"Bang!"

Dylin manage to kill one enemy, leaving only a Demigod spark, a weapon and interspatial ring. The other Demigod manages to distance himself from Dylin intending to escape.

"Don't think about escaping." Dylin roars as he transforms himself into a 'Heaven Devouring Beast Suanni-lion'. His huge mouth opens, and a strong devouring force envelops the escaping Demigod, pulling him into Dylin's mouth.

"Noooooooo."

The enemy Demigod manages to shout before his body was devoured by Dylin.

Dylin returns to his human form with a sneer on his face. His hand is holding a divine spark, weapon and interspatial ring.

"Boom!"

The head of the enemy Demigod exploded after being hit by a staff. The High Priest collected her enemy belongings.

War God O'Brien is fighting equally with his opponent while, Cesar was overwhelmed by his opponent little by little.

Ernst, Dylin and High Priest watched their battle, ready to intervene if War God O'Brien and Cesar where in danger.

"Boom!" .

War God O'Brien finally landed a sword strike, killing his enemy in exchange for an injury.

"Puaaaah!"

War God O'Brien vomited fresh blood after killing his opponent. Although, he was injured, but was happy to kill his opponent.

On the other side, Cesar now is riddled with injuries. His loose robes are already damage. Though he is no match, he still continues fighting the enemy.

"Swoosh!"

A metallic ball suddenly hit Cesar's opponent. It was momentarily distracted. Cesar seize the opportunity to stab his opponent in the head.

"Bang!"

Cesar's opponent head exploded and falls from the sky, leaving only Cesar laughing bitterly.

"Hahaha. I finally manage to kill my opponent. Thank you for the assistance." He wears new clothes and landed on the ground with his fellow companions.

"Let's leave immediately and hide for a while. The two Demigods who escapes might come back with reinforcement." Ernst said hurriedly.

The others also understand the gravity of their situation. Dylin pick-ups Cesar while Ernst helps War God O'Brien. The High Priest serves as the look-out while they flew away to look for a hiding place.
