Cades mischief.

With the tests conclusion, a group of about twenty people where levitated to the front.

The man with large flaring eyebrows stepped forwards once more, "these students where caught cheating. And will be banned from not only this academy but from the dragons academy as well, no matter how trashy it is." His voice projecting across the entire room.

"Now for those of you who have failed, please exit the room." While he sounded polite a portal opened and swallowed up any who had failed, leaving only 437 students remaining.

"And now for the second part of the test. This portion will be more in depth, good luck." With the short words from the instructor with long eyebrows, a twenty page packet appeared in front of all the students.

Many dispaired, others directly left, but a majority immediately got to work, including Nirin, Clay, and Mizuki.

Thsi packet had 180 problems total, Most where multiple choice; while an exception was made for all the math problems.

The timer Wich had been zero till moments ago now listed 11:59:55

And counted down, tick-by-tick. Once again Clay practically sprinted through the questions, Mizukis mock tests having helped build to this moment. Sections on modern history, language, math, and current events, where on the test alongside minor sections on military strategy, weapon theory, and divinity.

Each subject, large or small, had a short response section towards the end.

After the twelve hour period and the clock struck zero, some students where teleported out of the hall. Clay was exhausted, but there was still more too do!

Do they want to work us to death!

Addressing the 312 students left, the instructor with large eyebrows gave a short speech before revealing the scores of everyone on a board.

Seeing his place at second Clay wasn't just surprised by his own score but also Mizuki's.

With the release of the score board the top ten glowed the color of various Ideas and authorities. Mizuki glowed a vibrant black with orange edges, like a black hole, Clay was glowing a vibrant and Deep red like blood.

Other students included Nirin had glows representing anything from celestial phenomena, too metals. Each aura represented what they did the best in. Mizukis black hole ment she had and all encompassing answers and didn't let a single detail escape. Clays showed a deep understanding in battle and warfare.

While his military strategy response was his best answer, it was mostly an instinctive one as his new race had battle instincts in their blood and soul.

Seeing that everyone had finished looking at their scores, and some even murmured about the top students and who they where, Instructor eyebrows made his finale announcement.

"Welcome, to those of you who have passed a test of perseverance and pressure. I am Mr Aoki, and I the head instructor for academic classes. And this right here with me on stage is Clay… lord Cade has taken an interest in him so please do your best to defeat him in any way." And with a small pause in his short speech, a few hundred gazes locked onto Clay; most with zero friendly intentions. "Now for a speech by the top scorer."

Mizuki took even, dignified, and steady steps towards the front with a expression that screams 'what a drag'.

Just before she reached the podium though, Mizukis entire demeanor changed to that of an ice queen.

"Hello fellow students of class fifty. I hope we can have a good year with lots of self improvement." And with her very short speach over, and a round of applause, she walked back to and sat in her seat.

Not expecting such a short speach Mr. Aoki stepped up to wrap up the now slightly awkward ceremony, at least from his perspective.

But before he could even speak a crack in space appeared, and from the seemingly endless depths of the other side stepped Cade Ōkami, and Inari Ōkami two high gods.

Seeing lord Cades appearance for the first time Clay was shocked. Instead of some dark being of unfathamable might, Cade appeared as a Vanagandr! Cades fur was a deep black with its raven-purple edges phasing in-and-out of reality! Actually it was weird how people knew he was related to Cade without even asking for his name or anything, this mystery finally made sense to Clay.

Next to Cade was a god he had never seen but considering their closeness, Clay could assume that they we married or at least dating… if gods did that sort of thing. She had a face of porcelain and tall fox ears, in combination with nine long fluffy tails underneath her odd cross between a kimono and traditional forging cloths.

Mr. Aoki was cut of by Cade, who had jumped into his own speach. " Hello~ students~! I the lord Cade, the only god to fully comprehend the concept of Demi-humans, have come here to give you all a motivation!" Pausing for a moment with a wide grin on his face, Cade continued after a few moments. "At the end of each semester I will hold a competition within you class, this competition with be a test of your skills, combat abilitys, and comprehension of your chosen path! Asta, see you then,"

Trying to leave, Cades arm was grabbed by Inari who gave him a death glare. "Uh, and don't give that Clay kid easy time."

Booking it like his life depended on it, Cade vanished, but Inari stayed and even gave some words of her own before leaving.

With the entrance ceremony over the students where divided into rooms. And while everyone else was reading the room assignments Wich where posted on a board they all swapped around! Most notably though some people had roommates of the opposite sex! Many tried to cause a problem, but the school said they couldn't change it anymore as they had been locked out by a higher power. And that they should submit a complaint to a higher power. Clay, Nirin, and Mizuki knew that they where definitely in the same room on purpose, alongside two others, Inga thorson and Jack Adelworth.
