Chapter 22 Reward and Second Card

Jack calming down waited with his friends until finally they began to announce the results.

The teachers began to lead their own classes back to their classrooms to announce the final results.

Mr.Hai gathered his class with a large grin shortly looking at a select few members of his class before leading his class back.

Once everyone was settled inside the classroom Mr. Hai's grin enlarged even more clearly showing his excitement.

"So classroom we have the honor of winning The first place spot in this monthly competition. The special student is Mr.Timmings" and as he finished talking Mr.Hai threw a card over to Jack. Many in the class were shocked as they didn't expect this.

Though after a brief moment for the class to calm down Mr.Hai began to distribute the rest of the rewards giving only people in the top 100 in the grade rewards which amounted to about eight students in the class.

Jack noticed Xiao and Ryan both didn't receive a reward. Though this made sense since they both have weaker races especially when the gnomes have neither developed technology or magic yet.

The friends left to their usual spot to hang out as they informed each other of their battles.

Xiao's battle was pretty unexciting as Xiao personally lead his 100 strong murlocs against the goblins. Killing a little over 100 due to mainly the fact that they immediately rushed the portal trying to delay the point where they were outnumbered.

Ryan's battle was sad as he had about 500 gnomes who weaker physically weaker than the goblins losing in the 1v1 scenario. The few archers and even fewer lv1 mages could barely impact the battle field as the gnomes were soon overwhelmed even with Ryan leading the straight lack of command and powerful figures led to morale facing constant decline. Overall he killed about 350 goblins.

The two friends braced themselves for Jack's introduction which didn't help when they heard how completely stomped they were in comparison. The fact he killed almost 6times his population didn't help. Overall Jack killed about 2850 goblins. The second place got barely over 800.

Taking several minutes to recover their barring though they were still emotionally hurt the two friends asked about the card. Jack told them that it was a expansion card.

[5star Divine Realm Card-- Barren Land(rare) Increases size of divine realm by 2x2 kilometers. Limited to barren land.]

Though it would take who knows how long to work the land until it was capable of production this card was extremely valuable.

The friends decided to discuss their second cards.

"So what cards have you considered so far." Xiao clearly having stated he wouldn't be using cards asked his friends.

"So far I am thinking of a basic wheat card to expand my population. Best way I can think of to strengthen the realm." Jack explained worried about his lack of good cards.

"I already used a animal card for my realm to strengthen the hunting opportunities and ecosystem. With the wolves preying on the deer who actually threatened the plant life of my realm The food issue isn't a problem and currently I am thinking along the lines of some material. Even if I don't immediately use it the material can still be saved up especially for magic experiments." Ryan explained his idea of going further down the path of elite mages.

"Both idea sound great especially since Jack will have an increased chance of getting another dragonoid and having better materials will strengthen the mages combat ability and can even create useful magic items to trade." Xiao gave his thoughts agreeing with their choices.

The friends quickly got into cards as they discussed the minor things happening in their realms. From the oddball kobold who specifically didn't change his rank to stay with his female kobold to the gnome who prioritizes physical fitness and strength.

They spoke about the traveling to each other's realm to watch and see each other. Going to another realm from your divine realm is impossible without an invite from said person.

Deciding to watch the next tournament of blood in one week together which would have max population with the addition of wheat.

The group eventually broke up after enjoying their weekly party together. Arriving back inside his room Jack got into his divine realm and immediately added the wheat card he saved adding to the realm large amounts of wheat seeds that Jack ordered to be planted in a section of land he fenced off from the wild.

Planting all the seeds and teaching all the kobolds the new status quo of the increasing population to about 1500 kobolds as the wheat would be able to feed many kobolds. With about 300 adult males and 300 adult females and roughly 900 children on average.

With this increased population the amount of death battles daily would increase once max population was reached.

Jack returned to his realm as he controlled the female dragonoid who was the leader of the two to start give a speech.

Jack explained to the shocked and confused kobolds how the God of Bloodied Grass revived everyone after their great show of courage. To allow everyone to live another day and reap the rewards of the battle.

With the kobolds returning every lv0 kobold leveled up since every kobold killed several goblins. Many lv1 kobolds also leveled up reaching lv 2 and the max of the ranking. Any further and the kobolds would become heroes.

lv1 for kobolds didn't increase lifespan as it kind of just matured the kobolds while the level up from 1 to 2 was a greater change increasing the lifespan of lv2 kobolds to 30 years instead of the original 15 though the elder status change was still in place at year 10.

Though no evolutions to dragonoid everyone seemed very happy with their upgrade and in the following years they swiftly multiplied to max numbers once again.
