Chapter - 31
UNSC Infinity, months later
After the mission to recruit the YoRHa in the imperium ranks, the final procedures of the Imperium's return began, the Brotherhood used its influence to prepare the ground for it and soon the operations would have started.
Blue Team was put on standby and so the Spartans all returned to their quarters. The UNSC spaceship was pretty empty due to the death of most of the crew eons ago, it's inhabitants were all the spartans that survived to the great fall of the UNSC who were now under the command of the Primarch Samus Aran, The Honoured Hunters, the Space Marines clad in blue with red outlines Power Armor who serve the Primarch, and the guardsman and mechanicus assigned to the legion along with the Adepta Sororitas created with Samus' altered gene-seed.
The ship itself was being piloted by the AI BB, which proved herself far superior to any other UNSC AI.
Master Chief was inside his private quarters sitting on his bed while staring at a small object in his hand...Cortana's chip.
The small object had several cracks on it which were pulsating with honkai energy...he had lost her...he failed to protect her...and she sacrificed herself to save his life...the honkai corruption was supposed to get him not her.
"Still mourning her" A voice came from the edge of the door.
John quickly put the chip away before looking at the woman that was standing at the entrance of his quarters. His new boss, the Primarch Samus Aran, she was the kind of woman who while putting on a mask of coldness deeply cares for her soldiers, she was also one of the few Primarchs who didn't always follow proper etiquettes like the Empress or Apollyon.
"It's just to remind myself of my promise, ma'am" John replied as he got up and walked at the entrance "Do you need something?"
Samus crossed her arms and nodded "Halsey wants you on the deck, I already told the rest of blue team to go there"
"Do you know what's this all about?" the Spartan asked as he came out of his room and the two started walking towards the commanding deck
"All the preparation outside of Earth are finally over, the Empress will hold a speech before starting returning to the planet" Samus said
"How are things down there?" Chief asked as the Bounty Hunter sighed.
Samus had just returned from a solo mission on Earth, the objective was to make sure that the allies on the ground were ready for the deployment of the Imperial Forces.
"The Brotherhood has secured Masyaf for our arrival and prepared the citizens of the Soviet Union for our arrival, the civilians have started a cult of the Imperium, but our first stop will in Antarctica where Chaldea is" Samus replied
"Finally we'll meet BB's master" Master Chief remarked
"indeed " The former Bounty Hunter replied "While we take care of that the Delta Legion and a portion of the Imperial Army will take control of South America while the others will recover the last ancient arsenals. The Empress will personally go to Moscow"
"Russia is the nation with Rhodes Island, Sangivis Ferri and the GK Troops, correct?" John asked as Samus nodded
"Yes...Asseylum will go with Anastasia's Adepta Sororitas and a chapter of the Crimson Slayers while Akame and her Death Ravens will sneak inside the Asian nations to recover the mechs of the previous civilization and will recover Rhodes Island. Apollyon will recover the Azur Lane and the Fleet girls...Esdeath will recover the revenants" she explained "Najenda will take care of Japan while Leone of the Middle-East"
"The Middle-East? I thought that we were not going to attack nations that are not strictly necessary" the spartan said
"We can't have Syria isolated from the rest of the Imperium, we will not conquer the whole Middle-East just those we need to connect Syria and the Soviet Union" Samus replied
John nodded as the two finally reached their destination. Many Spartans along with Blue Team and Doctor Halsey were on the commanding deck, The Spartan and the Primarch gave the Doctor a nod of greeting before their gaze turned to the AI that was projecting itself on the table that was next to Halsey.
"Okay then, All the spartans are gathered, now we just have to wait for the YoRHa forces to be ready." BB said as she chuckled
Meanwhile, all the people personnel on the deck were staring at the massive screen that was showing the Imperial Aquila meaning that soon enough the Empress will make a speech.
"finally we will see our deployment against the Honkai" Frederick said
"We spent years preparing for this moment" Kelly replied as she clenched her fists
Suddenly the Aquila disappeared from the screen and Anastasia took its place, she had a serious and solemn expression on her face, she was in her 'Empress Mode'.
"Brothers and Sisters" Anastasia said breaking the silence "My sons and daughters...Years ago, you have found me and the task of defending humanity and defeating the Honkai was bestowed upon me...since then we all worked together to create an army prepared to face that cruel God that has been haunting the galaxy for far too long! For years we have gathered, recruited, rediscovered warriors, weapons and technology and we have planned the day that the Imperium will finally reveal itself to the world! And now, on February 2th of the Second Millennium, that day is closer than ever! We must be quick and precise, our objective is to recover the Security Organization Chaldea, Rhodes Island, Grifon Kryuger, Sangivis Ferri, NERV, Azur Lane, The Fleet Girls and lastly the Iron Mechas" she said as her eyes were filled with determination "We will take over the Soviet Union, South America and Japan where we'll deploy our main forces. From that point forward, we'll start boosting our numbers and then we'll take war to the Honkai God and show him that humanity will no longer stand his existence! WE WILL DESTROY HIM! FOR EVERYONE'S SAKE, TO AVENGE THOSE WHO FELL BEFORE US AND TO GRANT A BRIGHT FUTURE TO HUMANITY!" she spoke as her voice volume got higher and higher "FOR HUMANITY! FOR TERRA! FOR ALL THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!" she shouted
At that point, all the communication were filled with cheers from every single company withing the Imperial Forces
"GLORY TO MANKIND!" the YoRHa units replied
"FOR THE EMPEROR! FOR THE EMPRESS! FOR THE IMPERIUM! FOR TERRA!" The Adeptus Astartes replied
"PRAISE THE OMNISSIAH!" The Adeptus Mechanicus responded from Mars
John looked at Cortana's chip before raising his fist "For all that is beautiful" he said causing all the Spartans to follow his example as the ships approached the planet.
