Chapter 14, How Obvious do you want to be?
Rose woke up as an alarm sounded through the Room. Yawning he looked at the clock and noticed it was already 12 in the Morning. Looking to his side he noticed that Bobby wasn't there, but he didn't panic. It was common for Rose to wake up with him not there. As he was called in for a Mission, turning off the rather loud alarm, Bobby must have set for him, so he wouldn't sleep through an entire day again, he went to take a shower and ate some breakfast.
Nothing special just some cereal with milk, naturally he poured the milk in before the Cereal, like any normal person would do. After a quiet breakfast Rose created his spy mist mirror to do some stalking. It had somewhat became a hobby for him to spy on people, as it was the best version of reality tv out there. He looked over the Academy and then looked where Bobby was. He was in a room with a giant holographic map, probably the room the X-Men gathered for mission Briefing.
He saw Bobby there together with the other X-Men, talking about the Brotherhood who suddenly attacked Important people that were anti mutant and looking at the map Rose noticed something quite obvious. All important people that are getting attacked are far away from the Academy. Meaning that the X-Men would take some time to get there and back, even with Nightcrawlers teleportation abilities.
It should be clear that thier actual target was the Academy, but seemingly no one of the X-Men noticed it. Must be the typical sinking of IQ, so stuff can happen syndrome that many people seem to suffer from in fiction. So that the Villain or Hero can succeed, rolling his eyes Rose knew that Mystique would probably come to try and kidnap that mutant girl. Will Rose remind them of it? No he won't. Will he stop Mystique? Sure since he didn't like her a lot.
Thinking of Mystique and Magneto, what happened to Wanda and her brother Pietro? I mean are there two sets of them? Since as far as he could remember, in the X-Men movies they were the children of Mystique and Magneto or at least Magneto was the Father. But in the MCU, Wanda's and Pietro's parents are dead? Wonder how the world has handled that mess?
Rose watched as all the X-Men went on Thier mission, even Charles as Magneto himself was also attacking the White house. Hopefully Tony doesn't just try to fight Magneto, sure he could probably build a suit to counter him, but he shouldn't have built one yet. Not even 20 minutes after everyone left, Rose saw Mystique, Wanda and Pietro at the gates of the Academy. The only real danger is Wanda from the three, as she has reality bending powers, though she shouldn't be really trained in them yet.
Wanda blew up the Gate and the three split up, Wanda and Pietro went to the Student dorm and Mystique Mader her way to the Adult dorm, turning herself to look like Storm. Interesting, Rose thought, wondering what she had planned? He waited in his room, watching Mystique approach his room and then knocking on the Door. Rose smiled and decided to humor her and opened the Door, dispelling the Mirror. "Oh hey Storm? You are finally here, come inside!" Rose said and pulled "Storm" inside and closed the Door.
Pulling her to the Kitchen table and sitting her down on one of the Chairs. Then Rose rushed to the Bathroom and came back with an Electric Razor. "You said you wanted bald at the sides right?" Rose said and turned on the Razor. The fake storm seemed to panic for a bit, as Rose got closer to her Hair. "I am not here for my Hair, i need to talk to you Rose Night." Storm said and then turned back to Mystique. Rose didn't expect her to simply transform back to her original Appearance and was kind of sad.
He turned of the Razor and put it on the Table. "So who are you and what do you want?" Rose asked and sat down opposite to her. "It might sound weird, but Rose, i am your aunt." Dropping this bomb Rose was just confuse, did Mystique have a fkn sister? "Aunt?" Rose asked shocked by the development. "Yes Aunt, though me and your mother never really liked one another." She said with a sad smile. "Wait, before you say anything more, please show me proof that you are my aunt and are simply not just trying to trick me." Rose said, suspicious of her.
She pulled out Pictures of her and my Mother. Her holding me as a small child and even her at my Father's and Mother's wedding. Looking at the Pictures Rose was baffled, how the heck was he related to her? Wait is he related to Wanda and Pietro? "I thought you said that you didn't like one another? Why do you seem so close in these Pictures?" Rose asked and she just looked a bit sad. "Well, we were good sisters and close to one another, even though I was a mutant. But we started to drift apart after your sister married your father and got involved into shady things related to the Gang he was part of. It didn't help that i myself also had things to deal with." She stated.
"So why are you here? Now looking for me?" Rose asked, she took one of his hands and squeezed it lightly. "I only recently found out you are a mutant, i should have expected it, as your father was one too. I am currently part of the Brotherhood and Thier leader Magneto learned of your powers. He wants you in his ranks, he asked me to kidnap you and another mutant in this Academy, but i didn't want to take you forcefully. So revealed myself and hope that you come with me, out of your own free will. I don't want to hurt you if necessary."
Hearing Mystique say that he was amazed, but quickly gathered himself together. "I don't want to come with you." Rose said and was thrown to the Ground by Mystique before he could even realize it. "Then i am sorry Rose, since this means I have to use force." She apologized and Rose just laughed. He turned into mist and got out of her hold. She looked at him, with a smile. Rose didn't know why she smiled, but soon found out as he saw a syringe on the floor. He cursed himself and felt a bit sluggish.
Opening his editing menu he quickly looked for the Drug and edited it out. He felt lucky for his power and then decided to play serious. He called for it and with a loud roar a giant tentacle destroyed the wall and packed Mystique by her legs and pulled her outside. Much to her shock. Alarms went off all through the Academy thanks to the destruction and looking out of the hole he saw the Kraken, playing with Mystique as she was a toy, throwing her around.
Looking down he saw Wanda and Pietro coming to check out what made all the noise, Pietro carrying and unconscious girl. The Kraken saw the Both of them and tried to make them into pancakes with one of it's giant tentacles. Pietro dodged it with his super speed and Wanda Used red energy to stop the Tentacle, by forming a shield around her. Looking down at them, Rose decided to not hurt them too much and definitely not to kill them, as Wanda could be later part of the Avengers.
Not mentioning how Mutant Wanda could destroy reality out of rage if Pietro dies. How will he do it? Simple he summoned the Sirens to deal with Pietro, as hormonal teenager, he won't be able to resist Thier song and fall into trance. As for Wanda herself? Using Pietro as a hostage to make her leave! The Sirens started to sing and Pietro soon came under Thier spell. Wanda couldn't even help Pietro as she was busy blocking the Tentacles from squishing her.
"Don't Hurt him!" She screamed as she saw her Brother in a trance like state, standing next to a men with red hair and eyes, that held a knife to Pietro's throat. "Listen here, i let him go if both of you leave right now and leave me and this poor girl alone!" Rose said and Wanda struggled to make a decision. Rose brought the knife closer to Pietro's neck and Wanda relented "Fine, i will leave with him, but please don't hurt him!" She said and Rose smiled "Deal, now take him and leave!" Rose said and threw a Unconscious Pietro towards Wanda. Wanda took her Brother and looked back at the Kraken that had stopped attacking her, after she agreed to the deal. She looked up to Mystique still in the Krakens arms and apologized to her as she ran away with her brother in tow.
Rose smiled as he had sealed Pietro's power and now had a thing to control Wanda if she attacks him again. He send the Sirens away and looked up at Mystique who by now had lost consciousness and let the Kraken put her on the Ground and then unsummoned the Kraken. Turning to mist and flying back in his room, he took out some rope, a gag and handcuffs, before tying up Mystique and then Handcuffing and gaging her.
Looking at the destruction the Kraken caused he could only sigh. Sitting on Mystique, Rose waited for the X-Men to come back, while editing the mutant girl, so she could have control over her power. As a little apology for taking a bit to long chatting with his Aunt here. Wondering what face the X-Men will make once they see the Destruction and him sitting on Mystique, who was all tied up.
