*Chapter 09: You Should Just Said So...

Lunely's PoV

It's been a week since Leiro and I became part of his family as his little sister. Like any family could have, we spent the week full of memories that I will never forget, not only between my mom and dad but also with her friends and classmates.

Well, not to brag about but I became a center of attention inside Leiro's classroom, and Ms. Lena said that she would like me to stay there for a little longer since their days were happy when I arrived. Hehe ... It's really touching, so much. But yeah... Although a little longer is okay but in three weeks I'll be back to my old life. Yet, seeing how people reacted around my love, I can be assured that nothing bad will happen to Leiro.

Well, with so many events within that week, I can conclude that the chances of his ESCD leveling up are no longer increasing. Since I'm still in-charge on monitoring his disorder and I'm only temporarily here so I guess he's as good as okay. Yusarine and Briella were also trying their best to find a replacement for me so that I can go back to my old life and get back my dream of becoming Leiro's wife ...

...But, what is this feeling?

I mean, I want to be with Leiro in the future, but why am I thinking it's okay for me to be like this? It's just a week but I seem to be used to calling him brother ... Huhu ... Please, give me back my old self!

But yeah, let's kinda set that aside for a while. Well, Leiro and I were currently here at the Mini-Lifesavers Institution to see if being my little sister to him was effective without leveling his disorder up.

"Hmm ... Seems like you done a good job maintaining his disorder to level one, Lou Nylei. I shall appraise you for that." Prof smiled at me when he finished looking at Leiro's brain, as Leiro slowly opened his eyes as if he was just waking up.

"So, how is your observation, Professor Collins? Is there a change in my condition?" Leiro quickly asked Professor Collins even though he just woke up from sleeping.

"Actually, Lou Nylei did a good job of maintaining your disorder to level one. But since it's been a week that you're under observation, you might as well be needing this."

Prof. Seth suddenly gave Leiro a white watch with some digits and level bars on it. It's actually an ESCD monitoring watch, a latest invention by Prof. Seth which enables it to detect a rise of ESCD, and beeps when a person wearing it suddenly felt symptoms that may result of increasing his disorder's level.

Well, Prof. now observed. Leiro in his brain since this disorder usually happened on a human brain of a person. Oh yes, since you don't know much about ESCD so let me explain it for you.

Extreme Sister Complex Disorder, or ESCD, is a rare kind of disease seen or affected only in male teenagers below fifteen to twenty-one years old. This happens when a male teenager has a high desire to have a sister or wants a sister since he is a solo child, or the virus develops because of the man's attitude towards his younger brother, like he doesn't want to hurt him and many others.

It's not contagious actually. It just formed on a person's brain once they experience the facts I said earlier. It was once known as a Sister Complex, but nowadays it became worse and turned into this one.

Once injected itself, the virus will make one's life in danger- that is, when something bad happens to their little sister, this virus can kill them. I don't even know why this disorder developed. It's kinda weird, too. So all this time, their situation now seems to be holding on to their necks.

And yes, speaking of leveling up, this disorder has four levels- one being the lowest and four being the highest. Each level has its own distinct symptoms, scaled and identified its intensity.

On level one, or Mild-Type, the person affected will only experience a slight headache if they see their sister hurting- like Leiro for some instance. It's not that bad, there is no time limit when the patient and his sister should always be by the side and it is the only level that can be treated for now.

On level two, the Mild Severe-Type, the person will experience heart disease. He'll be a bit crazy when he can't see his little sister for the next eight hours, so attention is strictly advised. And I hope Leiro doesn't reach here. Although it may be great that Leiro will always look for me but my limit is only one month. If that happens, then I have no choice but to be her little sister for the rest of my life ...

On level three, the Severe-type, the person becomes even more crazy when he cannot see his sister for the next five hours, and seizures may happen when he is not given attention. Confusions can happen too- you look like you're crazy. Although I've seen how crazy Leiro can be but I don't want him to be crazy like this one. 'I don't know what will happen to me when it happens to her badly! Huhu...

On level four, the Extreme Severe-type, is I think the most dangerous level I have ever seen. It was as if the person affected did not want to lose sight of his sister. Seizures happened frequently, as well as severe headaches and heartaches, and on instance, death.

"Hi Cuz Lei!" Yusarine smiled at Leiro when we left the Observation Room with Prof. Seth. Briella was in there too, while the others with us were busy with their various lives- and I don't mind.

"You're really unfair Yusarine. We didn't see each other for a week and then you just greeted Leiro?" I crossed my arms and gave her a pouty face, although I'm just teasing her since I miss her too. "I hate you!"

"Of course I miss you too sis Lou ... Who wouldn't miss you eh you haven't been here for a week. It's just, you don't have a cellphone so we can't chat-"

"Huh? Wait a sec, you don't have a cellphone Lunely?" Yusarine suddenly stopped when Leiro spoke to me.

Well, the truth is I'm prone of using telephones inside the institution, but all my life I haven't experienced having my own cellphone like Yusarine and Brel have. I mean... I'm already underpaid here and I'm going to buy my own cellphone?

"Lunely ... Why didn't you tell me you don't have a cellphone? If you really need one, you should just say so. So all this time you and Yusarine aren't talking to a friend of yours?" Leiro sighed as he scratched his head and looked at Brel, when I suddenly blushed as I became speechless.

Wait a sec, are you thinking what I've been thinking? Does that mean...

"W-w-wait ... Kuya Lei, so you mean-" My eyes sparkled as Leiro smiled and simply took his wallet off.

"I know it's important to keep in touch with your friends so I'll take care of your new cellphone. You everything to me, okay?" He smiled sweetly as he was scanning the money in the wallet when I suddenly blushed.

Nyay! This is soo embarassing! How come- although I was only with Leiro for one week but still, he decided to buy me a new phone, yay!

"Congrats sis Lou, you'll have a new cellphone!" Yusarine was very happy with me while Brel just smiled. Leiro smiled when he saw his credit card as he looked towards Yusarine and Brel.

"Hey, guys ... Do you want to come with us? I just want to get to know you better. My treat." Leiro smiled at the two of them as I was suddenly shocked- luh, I thought it was just me?

I took a glare to them as if I warned them not to accept Leiro's offer. Don't ruin my moment, you two! That would be a great time together with my crush- just the two of us, then we're going to a lot of places-

"N-no thanks Cuz Lei." Yusarine just smiled although it was obvious that she was a bit scared of me. Yes... Be afraid! Be very afraid!

"We would have liked to come with you because we have a lot to do here. Maybe some time I guess. And you surprised us! If you want to treat us, you should just say so so we can get ready ..."

"Hmm... Too bad.." Leiro just smiled as she suddenly pet Yusarine's head- hey, that's no fair! Hey, Lei, pet me too!

"Okay now Yusarine. Lunely and I will gonna leave now. Just stay cheerful as always okay? We'll be back here next week so no worries." Leuro smiled as he let go from petting Yusarine and slowly held my hand. Nyay!

We were currently on Leiro's car to the shopping mall, as Leiro promised that he would buy me a cellphone as well as clothes and some accessories for me. He also decided to have some lunch first since it's eleven o'clock when we left M.L. Institution and now we're both hungry.

We were in the back seat that time, while Leiro was busy listening to his headphones while I was just looking out of our car.

"Um, Lunely? Are you okay?" Leiro slowly put his headphones down and suddenly held my hand. Nyay! I blushed a bit again, but this time, I'm gonna do it right.

"I... I'm fine brother. It's just a little cold because of the air conditioner here." I tried to act like a kid, although deep inside I really didn't want to do it. I want to be a woman for him, not just a kid!

"I see. Here's my jacket. Wear it until we reach the mall." Leiro slowly took off his jacket and gave it to me, but the right side of the car suddenly bump into something, which made me fall towards Leiro and suddenly hugged him. Waahh!

"Manong driver? What's that?" Leiro suddenly asked our driver as he slowly stopped the car from running and looked outside.

"Oh, sorry sir. I didn't realize there was a big bumper there before. I think we stepped on it so the right side of the car bounced a bit." The driver told us as Leiro just smiled as she looked at me, while I was still hugging him for no reason.

"All right. Let's just be careful next time, shall we?" Leiro just smiled as our driver just nodded and closed the car door and fasten his seatbelt.

The driver started the car again as Leiro slowly covered my whole body with his jacket and pet my head comfortably. H-Hey, this is not my plan huhu!

"Lunely, if I want to hug me, you should just said so. I'm always open if you want to be pampered." Leiro smiled even more as I just buried my whole face into his chest, since I was a bit shy that time... But yeah, Leiro is right. Hugging and being pampered by him is much better than my plan. I don't feel cold anymore because of him. My, Leiro, you are really my only comfort ...

I just let myself be asleep as Leiro continued petting my head. Well, it's not bad to be a kid, I'm sure he'll wake me up when we get to our destination ...

In the church- I mean in the shopping mall. Hehe ... I'm so excited!
