*Chapter 07: Fighting!

Lunely's PoV

I've been sitting at Ms. Lena's desk for three hours. Lena, Leiro's adviser gave me permission to stay here for a bit while I kept on scanning Leiro's four-meter radius boundary line, and if anyone dared to approach him, they'll have to face their worst nightmare ever.

And I'd say, Ms. Lena was quite a good adviser. She's not very strict and her lessons are not boring either- she always gives inspirational words to keep her students up and alive. She even tried to cheer one of her students who couldn't answer their lesson today, and lastly, her smile was contagious, just like my crush. Seriously, I wish all teachers are like this.

"Okay class, now that everything's clear, I want you to get a one-half crosswise sheet of paper since we will be having a 30-minute definition test regarding the First Law of the Three Laws of Motion by Isaac Newton." Ms. Lena suddenly said those to her students, and I smirked silently as if no one will notice me.

Wait, Leiro's still in 10th grade, right? Why does he already have a subject like this? Maybe they're on STE Section that's why their subjects are pretty advanced.

All of Ms. Lena's students silently pulled their papers out from their bags as I saw Leiro already started writing down his answers. Well, I expected nothing less from my crush. It seems like he just doesn't have any worries about this subject. His classmates are just started writing their names but he's already at the third question...

Not to brag about it, but I also know quite a bit about their quiz today. Professor Seth taught me this when I was ten years old, and lessons like this are still pretty fresh for me. Here, to give you some knowledge:

The three laws of motion stated by Sir Isaac Newton are as follows: the Law of Inertia, the Law of Acceleration, and the Law of Interaction.

The Law of Inertia, which is the first Law of Motion, is often described that a body in motion will remain in motion as well as a body at rest will remain at rest unless it will be disrupted by an opposite force. That means if something is moving, it will remain that way until there is a different force that disturbs it.

For example, when you are on the bus, the bus is running so you are sitting pretty well when the bus suddenly braked at the same time as your body is moving forward- sometimes your head might bump into a seat in front of you because of too much braking. It's the result that your body being pushed by the force in the opposite direction.

"Oh my. Good job Ms. Damandre. I never thought you were good at Physics subject." I was suddenly surprised by what Ms. Lena to me. Eh? Why am I here in front of his students? I was carried away by what I was saying. Until I remembered...

(Flashback)

"Wait, Ms. Damandre? You actually knew the Laws of Motion? At such young age?"

"Well, not really Ma'am. My Prof. taught us lessons like this when I was only ten years old, that's why what I learned was a bit advanced at my age."

"I see, the way you dress, you're a member of Mini-Lifesavers Institution, am I right?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Hmm... Well then, why don't you try explaining to them how the First Law of Motion does? If that's okay with you."

"Sure ma'am! I'll be glad to!"

Leiro's classmates suddenly applauded. My... That's nothing to me actually. You don't have to give me applause guys, I'm blushing!

"Okay class, please pass your papers. We will be having a one-hour break before moving on to our next subject." Suddenly Ms. Lena us as she slowly went towards her desk. And wow, a one-hour break? Wait, is it really just a break or it's already a vacant hour?

As Ms. Lena sat down and all of the papers were passed, I was surrounded by Leiro's classmates... Seems like they were really amazed of what I did earlier.

"My, you're so good at Physics, Lou!"

"You and your brother really are the same, and I don't deny it!"

"Tell us, what's your secret and why did you become like that? Did you do something? Did you eat anything? Are you reading a specific book? Please, tell us!"

"Girls, don't put a lot of pressure on my little sister. She's a little tired so let her rest first, okay?" Leiro suddenly said to me while petting my head- my... The way he pet me made me really relaxed. And his concern for me is really touching. How touching...

"Don't worry Leiro, we're not putting too much pressure on her. Oh, I think we should head out for a while to buy some snacks. Wanna come Leiro?"

"Oh, don't mind me. You know my maids always make me sandwiches that's why I don't use my allowance too much." Leiro smiled at them as he pulled out his snack box from his school bag, and as he pulled the cover out, there were actually six pieces of egg sandwiches inside, wrapped carefully on tissue paper.

"We envy you Leiro..." One of Leiro's classmates just laughed. Although Leiro's the only male in class, his classmates treated him like he isn't one. No wonder he is so kind and caring when it comes to girls because of his classmates- or maybe because of Liana? Hmm...

Don't worry, when my maids forget to make my snack, I'll be glad to join you. "Leiro said jokingly to them, as all of his classmates ended up giggling. Seriously Lei, that's a worst excuse ever. Can't you think of something else? Something that they would pretty much believe?

So yeah. After the refusal of offer, all of his classmates went outside their room as Leiro and I were the ones left inside. Ms. Lena, for some reason, left too so it's just Leiro and me.

"Hey, Lunely? Do you want some?" Leiro suddenly pulled out of of his sandwiches from the box and gave it to me. Yeah, I only have my money with me now, and it will be unwise for me to go to their school canteen because I don't study here so I'd just accepted it.

"My, you're really sweet as always." Suddenly three women appeared in front of us, and I know that Meryl is the girl in the middle but I don't think I know the two with her.

"Oh, hello there, Meryl, Shiina, Ayumi. Glad to see you again." Leiro smiled as the three of them quickly took some chairs and sat in front of the table.

"Um, Lei? Would you mind?" I suddenly asked as my alertness started to rise once again.

"Oh yes. Guys, this is my little sister, Lou Nylei Damandre, or you can call her Lou for short. Lunely, these are my close friends beside Meryl, Maria Shiina De la Costa and Ayumi Yllesia Nuñez. But you can just call them Shiina and Ayumi."

Huh? What with these strange names? Especially Ayumi ... Why is that? Well, looking by their appearances, Shiina is as tall as Meryl. She has a short straight black hair, brown skin, brown eyes, currently wearing her school uniform and she has a pink flower clip on her left side of her hair. She doesn't have many accessories, just her plain face.

Ayumi, on the other hand is way shorter than the three of them, although she is a bit taller than me. She has... Wait, pink short fluffy hair with twin-tail style like me?! I mean, I'm not angry because she has the same hairstyle but isn't it prohibited to dye your hair on any color when you're inside the school premises? Hmm... That's weird. But yeah, back to what I've been saying, she's as white as me, having hazel brown eyes, rosy cheeks and a little bit chubby posture, and top of that, she even beat me with those... che- um, eep, nevermind.

"Um, Ayumi, right? May I ask if your hair's a dyed one? I thought dyed hairs were prohibited-"

"Oh, these... These are natural. I was born with pink hair. Usually humans are born with black, brown, blonde and red. But the doctors said that pink hair can be possible, since they theorised that my hair was actually red before it turned pink."

She answered accurately. Well, I can't deny. Pink natural hair colors can be possible. It's just that, it's my first time seeing that.

"Oh yes, Lou? You're adopted, right? So how was your first night with Leiro? I bet you feel really embarassed." Meryl suddenly laughed at me. Shiina pulled out her snack box as Ayumi's just busy playing some games on her tablet.

"Well, sort of. Actually, Leiro is really nice to me when we shared a bed yesterday." I smiled sarcastically when they were suddenly surprised- even Leiro, who choked on the egg sandwich he was eating... "What? Is there anything wrong with what I've said?"

"W-wait ... You mean it's just your first day but-" I can see that Meryl still doesn't believe that it's okay for me to sleep next to Leiro. Hehe, are you jealous? Just say it.

"Meryl, stop asking that. It's embarrassing." Leiro suddenly said to Meryl, but she just hushed him like she didn't mind what Leiro said.

"S-so is that true Lou? L-Leiro slept next to you last night?" Meryl said as I can hear the trembleness of her voice. Ayumi paused for a while and Shiina suddenly stopped eating.

"Well, it actually goes like this..."

Everything turned pink that time. I was in the portrait, lying on the bed with my sleep clothes, and Leiro's lying down while looking at me. It was indeed magnificent scenery. I blushed a bit that time, as Leiro spoke, on his soft, low-toned voice ...

"Lunely... My love... You must, sleep in my bed-"

"Don't start the flashback! You know I didn't say anything like that!" Leiro suddenly shouted at the four of us as my imaginary world popped out. My, Lei, why so embarrassed?

"So, is it true?"

I suddenly saw Ayumi, cold, ruthless it seems like she became a bit yanderic. Eh, is she angry or something?

"A-A-Ayu-Ayumi, y-you misunderstand! I-It's just a sibling collaboration-"

"Brother Lei... I'm asking you if it's true..." She became more serious than ever, as she looked at me as if she's gonna kill me. Hmm.... I think this is it. I think she will be the one.

"A-Ayumi, calm down. Lunely said that she felt pity about the loss of your friend, Liana. That's why... That's why she slept with me- that's all. I-It's just a misunderstanding!!"

"Well, so it is true brother..."

She suddenly chuckled.

"Fufu... fufufu... Well, brother, if it is true, then I shall exterminate this burden of yours right away!" She said as she quickly looked at me with her fiery eyes. Nyay! Is this war for me?!

"Lou, run!"

Shiina and Meryl suddenly shouted as Ayumi suddenly jumped at me. Yay! Help! Help! Does he want to kill me or what?!

We suddenly run in circles inside the classroom, but we tend to be careful that we don't break things inside. Both Meryl and Shiina tried to stop Ayumi as Leiro quickly hid me on his back. Ayiee ... There's my knight in shining armor.

"Remember this Lou Nylei! Brother Leiro's mine! Anything who dared interrupting us will be exterminated by the power of Dark Lord Zyphrus!" She chuckled like crazy, as Leiro just sighed while smacking his forehead. Eh? What did she had said?

"Well, you should expect nothing less from a young girl with a Chuunibyou." Leiro suddenly guarded me from Ayumi, as I realized what Ayumi had said. I seem to have heard unfamiliar words.

Seriously, this girl has something...
