Just a child

"What's the favor?" Xing Chen asked.

Lu Xingyan considered for a moment before changing his mind. "You know what? Forget

about it. It's better that I take care of it myself."

"Now I'm curious. What is it?"

"It's nothing, just forget about it. By the way, when are you returning to Country X?"

"Tomorrow."

"Alright, I'll send the wine to your mansion tomorrow. Goodnight."

"Goodni—" Xing Chen began to speak but paused immediately. "Hey man, wait wait wait!"

"What is it?" Lu Xingyan asked with irritation.

"After meeting your sister, I must say that she is very pretty. Do you think—"

"Gu Xing Chen, you listen to me. If you dare to have any thoughts on her then I will rip you

apart."

Xing Chen felt chills up his spine. "But what if she likes me too? Will you still be against it?"

"Yes! She's still a child! I won't interfere when she becomes old enough to choose by herself, but until then you better forget about her." 

"A child? Dude, she's old enough to go to college, enter bars and drink alcohol. How much older do you want her to be? Besides, you should've seen the way she was dressed. Let me tell you, your sister is very grown-up." 

"You bastard, keep talking like that and I swear that I'm gonna kill you myself! Forget about her, and forget about the Peach Wine too!" 

Xing Chen wanted to argue, but Lu Xingyan had already hung up. And so, he got into the car and left for the airport.

Lu Xingyan considered asking Gu Xing Chen to keep an eye on her sister, but the idea was

immediately dismissed. He was afraid that it could bring her trouble. And after that, when he heard his friend's words, he knew he had made the right decision.

He wasn't completely against his friend dating his sister. If that happened, then he wouldn't

have to worry about her safety. Plus, he would always be informed about her. But he quickly

put these thoughts aside. She had to make the choice on her own.

With a smile on his face, he left his phone by the side of the bed. He was happy. Happy

because after almost seven months, he finally received news from his sister. After seven

months of worry, he could finally sleep soundly again.

After getting into the cab, Yan Shu kept looking back, afraid that Gu Xing Chen would send someone to follow them. Even knowing that he was friends with her brother, she still couldn't trust him completely.

She felt relieved when it became clear that no one was following them. But she remained

dissatisfied for thinking about her brother. When she heard Song Yun mention a Xing Gege, she wished it was her brother. In the end, it remained as wishes only.

When they arrived in the apartment, Yan Shu paid for the taxi and dragged Song Yun to her

room. After changing into her pajamas, she made some soup to help with her friend's

hangover. She served it to Song Yun, helped her clean up, and even changed her clothes.

After tucking her in bed, Yan Shu finally returned to her own bed and fell asleep.
