Speedrun Stream!

After a little deliberation, Chastain decided to stream her experience....based on her past life in TFNs, she knows how precious these memories are, and having them to look back on is truly a delight...

Since she was technically trying to dive into each world as fast as possible while also getting access to as many abilities, techniques, items, etc... all to prepare for Dome City, she decided to call her stream "Speedrunning Altissia-Preparation for Ascension"...

She paid no more heed to her stream after launching, as she wasn't doing it for money, fame, or anything like that...if they wanted to watch her journey then they can...if not, so be it.

"Hello, welcome to the Gate of Worlds....how may I assist you? "...asked the attending Seraph that was approached by Chastain.

"Please, may I have preview tickets for Among Us, Sea of Thieves, Minecraft, Earth, and The Shinobi World..."

The Seraph was surprised by the unique request but nevertheless, gave a stack of tickets to Chastain who took them to the tele pad lobby and quickly watched each and every one...

'Okay, easiest to hardest I suppose... let's play a few games of Among Us and get some electrical/engineering/technological skills that may be helpful, and then head into Sea of Thieves for some cheaper explosives and weapons...I will get the sharks as well since the latest news from Dome City says that it's half submerged in the ocean...

I'll then play Minecraft for a bit and work my way to the items I want from there before diving into Earth quickly, then I'll thoroughly explore the only 'hardcore difficulty' world, The Shinobi World where I will get the high-level abilities I need to complement my huge list of available skills from TFNS...

I just stepped onto the Among Us tele pad and immediately, I looked around to see myself in a cargo bay of sorts with the iconic computer on a nearby crate...luckily enough, I was the first one in the lobby so I made my way to the computer.

I checked through all of the options and there were quite a few...the most recent updates to this would include the new area "Airship" along with "Modded Play".

Thinking for a moment, I decided to choose the newest map to play on but reject the use of mods...'I read through all of the available mods and apparently, they do not translate well into abilities/skills for Travelers who purchase them from the Pavillion, at least with the current mods available.

I set the player count to ten, I set the vision for crewmates low, and the vision for Imposters lower as well, although not as low as the crew.

I set the imposter cooldown to a full minute, but tripled the required tasks for the crewmates...these settings were the most advantageous to me for obtaining what I want from Among Us.

Time passed and eventually, the second player joined...it was a handsome gentleman who, as soon as he appeared, began talking to himself...well, after listening to a bit, he is defiantly talking to an audience that is watching his stream.

I smiled kindly at him as it is always best to assume you will be teammates, odds are this is most likely the case.

When he looked over at me, he seemed shocked at first but then put on a smile I knew all too well...whether from my experience as Chastain meeting every playboy with money that existed or as Ty Lin, an extremely beautiful and powerful woman in TFNs.

I continued to smile even after he walked toward me, when he came close he spoke very kindly and much to my surprise, very charismatically...

"Hello miss, my name is John...I've not seen you in a lobby before, and I only dive into Among Us now since that's all my viewers wanna see...I'm highly skilled at the game as I've played too many times to count, so let me know if you need anything..."

He finished speaking to me and then walked closer to me..."Miss, if you don't mind, can I use the computer for a second? I hate being the color black, I had a bad experience in my first game...I'd rather not repeat the same mistake..."

Hearing something interesting coming out of the guy's mouth, I perked up as I wanted to know what happened so I spoke for the first time to the handsome guy...

"Sure, I'm done setting the lobby settings so go ahead.....if I may ask, would you tell me what happened? Why do you dislike the color black?..."

He looked immediately downcast when I asked but, to entertain me or to entertain his viewers, he decided to tell me what happened.

"Well, I won't bore you with any minute details but essentially, while playing my first game of Among Us, I met a guy who I thought was a friend....we hit it off well and I had few friends at that time...I trustest him completely..."

"As you may guess, we were all new to the game so nobody knew what to do...I walked around aimlessly, finishing task after task until I stumbled into cams...there I saw my new friend and trusted ally..."

*sigh*

He took a long breath, remembering what seemed to be a traumatic event...' he probably needs some counseling, he shouldn't be so stuck on one betrayal in a game where that is by design...'

Before I could keep joking around in my own head, something I picked up from hanging around with my joker of a husband Sokka, he continued to speak...

"When I turned my back to him, I remember telling him that I would take over his post watching for the Imposter while he ran to do tasks but before I could even get situated, I saw a pink-suited lady murder the yellow suit in a gruesome way right on the screen...it was the first murder I've witnessed as before Among Us, I was a simple Traveler, not daring to go into worlds that were not 'easy-ranked'..."

"I was about to tell my new friend before I myself, was brutely murdered. by the man I trusted....the pain was like nothing I've ever felt...although I'm used to it now, the first time wasn't a cakewalk for me..."

I watched him slip into deep thought just before a few new people arrived in our lobby...I put my smile back on as a greeted everyone, readying up for my first Among Us game.
