Shopping and Ascension

When Chastain opened her eyes once more, she found herself gasping for breath while on all fours, sweat pouring down her face...time passed quickly in TSW and death came even quicker....' what a cruel world.....and I suppose that guy was right; when I had nothing and no one, I still had the pain....argh, that really hurt'.

"Well.....killing myself with Chi blocking is much better than dying by explosion..." she whispered softly after catching her breath...

' Most certainly the worst death so far, I'm glad I entered TSW last...but did I get everything I needed?...' she stood up gracefully and moved towards the nearest coffee shop to reorganize her thoughts.

After thinking for a bit, her mood improved...if her guess was right, and she was not underestimating the number of Raven Coins needed to purchase what she wants, there should be no problem in surviving Dome City...

She moved quickly to The Pavillion and once she arrived, she asked for the nearest attendant to provide her a list of everything available to her...

"Ah, I found you in our system, Ms. Grey, would you like your catalog sorted or as is?..." the kind Serpah asked me when she looked up from her search...

After some thought, I asked smoothly..."whatever you recommend is fine, as long as you can explain to me what it means..." I should have read a little more about large purchases here but I'm here now so simply letting the Angels do their jobs seem like the best choice.

"Certainly Ms. Grey, I will sort them from discounted items to those set at the original price..."

"For example, purchasing the Aburame physique from TSW would be seventy-five percent off since you experienced it so thoroughly and will be located towards the beginning of your list while the Hyuga bloodline will be not discounted at all and will remain as is: very expensive, although still available to you as you experienced it while in TSW...I hope this clears up most of your doubts..."

I nod my head quickly to her simple explanation before taking my catalog and moving to the nearest "purchasing station" which, simply put, is a small black box with only one door and magic runes on the outside that prevents anyone from monitoring what happens inside the box, so that all purchases are discreet...

After locking myself in the dark box, I placed my catalog on the provided small desk and glanced at the touchscreen attached to the wall directly opposite my seat...the overhead light was bright, and the surroundings were dead-silent allowing me to focus solely on what I need to get.

I started adding things left and right to my shopping cart while my enormous amount of riches dwindled quickly, not fazing me one bit.....this is an investment in my future, a future full of adventure and fun!

The list went on and on with many edits as even with her ENORMOUS amount of Raven Coins thanks to her two achievements in The Four Nations so long ago, she still didn't have enough to purchase everything she wanted but in the end, she was satisfied.

She had enough items in the sealing scroll (that she put into her inventory for safekeeping) and inventory to start her own guild.....which is exactly what she intended to do after finding a good spot in Dome City and using her greatest reward from her time as Ty Lin...

*Sigh*

"My speed run is finally done..." Chastain opened the door to the small box and left the Pavillion, she turned off her stream after entering in TSW as streaming sites started making restrictions regarding war-time streams and the like.....in the end, she only had some recordings but that's all she wanted to begin with...

She made her way slowly towards the Gate of Worlds, after touring the entire Entertainment District and reliving all of the good memories she had here, she called her father to inform him of her ascension to the higher plane. He was ecstatic, to say the least, and after a long call, she hung up the communication line.

"Alright you old bag of bones, time to show these Ascenders what it's like to be a queen....."

"If I can just make it out of this situation alive, I will give up meat...and sarcasm....that's all I got..."

*Giggle*

Chastain laughed at her favorite saying.....repeated many times by her past husband before she continued on her way toward the higher plane...
