Frenzy

Everyone who read the announcement went crazy, they could never have predicted such a world-shaking announcement....they've only had eighty years or so to acclimate to this world in which they experienced novelties daily before they were attacked with yet another one of Raven Oscar's wonders...

News outlets, streamers, governments...the phenomenon that was Raven's multiverse was so impactful in today's society that such a big announcement would have many repercussions...economically, socially, hiarechacly....even within Altissia itself, the guilds are now unstable as many of the more 'dedicated' members qualify to ascend while the lower ranked and non-'adventurer' members were about to be left behind...

While everyone was freaking out, Chastain Grey was still reeling from the three messages sent to her via notifications...but what was causing her pause was the record of her second life as Ty Lin, she was reviewing the most important parts while crying tears of happiness to have such a wonderful treasure....she saw where she met Sokka, their battles and travels, when Sokka asked her to be his...it was all real, it was her past life...

"I will always cherish these memories, my love..." the beautiful woman whispered in her booth.

"But, I'm going to move ahead...I will work my way through each world as fast as possible so that I can Ascend to Dome City...and continue my long journey..."

The firm look in the once pampered daughter of the Blue Star News Network's CEO was indicative of what was to come, she quickly paid for her beverage and made her way out of the venue and towards the Pavillion with all of her riches...

The pavilion was huge, it was noticeable from most locations in the entertainment district, and after arriving, Chastain saw many Travelers moving about with purpose...

She paid no attention to these people as she moved to the counter to ask the attendant to provide a list of what she can purchase...for better or worse, her long life in TFNs resulted in her having a huge catalog of available purchases.

After reading the huge list, she had many things in mind that she wanted to buy but after a little thought, she decided on a better plan of action...

'If I buy willy-nilly now based on what I feel is the best abilities for me from TFNs, I may be making a huge mistake...I just returned and I know too little about the various abilities in the other worlds, there could be cheaper abilities that are similar or better...I need information...'

Understanding her plight, Chastain moved to the edge of the building where benches were...she needed to think and research a bit, so she went to the best place to get information about Altissia and the adjacent worlds....the forums.

After three hours of perusing the vast volume of information regarding Mr. Oscar's multiverse, she learned a lot...she knew the rules on reentering worlds and how knowing too much could disable you from reentering, so she stuck to what the forums highlighted as 'safe knowledge'.

These bundles of information required money to gain access, but were well worth it...these were certified packets of 'safe knowledge' catered by a guild of Divers whose sole objective was to provide information and news to the players. If found in worlds such as Minecraft or Sea of Thieves, most Travelers will spare these guild members or aid them in trouble since everyone has benefitted from their existence one way or another, they were the representatives of the community and thus protected by it...

Chastain was also thankful to them as reading through the 'safe knowledge' packets would enable her with useful information regarding each world and not damage her ability to enter...

When reading over the packet for TSW...she read that it has recently restarted... and the interesting thing is that it didn't start in the same timeline as the first time, but was started around ten years later, before the third ninja world war...

It contained a map of the currently known areas with each of the major villages and the land of iron listed...it included little of the actual plot since most of the divers died before the fourth great ninja war got fully underway, and no diver decided to enter in such a turbulent time...so they figured they would wait it out, only to be surprised when it was reset...

There was confirmation by Raven Oscars in one of his recent interviews that this time, TSW will not stop after the fourth shinobi world war but will continue...no one knows why he starts the timeline when he does or resets when he does, but they don't mind it... better to be sent back to Altissia with 'reset compensation' than by a bleeding neck.

Bottom line is, that the 'safe knowledge' of each world was extremely detailed but also only surface level...there would be maps but no details on why certain places were named the way they are or why certain geographical locations have significance.

Moreover, you could see the entirety of the 'Bingo Book' from TSW but any detail beyond what would be in the book if you bought it within TSW, is not included...it was weird what information was allowed to be 'safe' and what impacted diver's re-entry but, it didn't change people's drive to enter the worlds in the least...

'Now that I have a better understanding of what's going on, I better save my points until after I experience each world in Altissia before Ascending to Dome City, where I will most likely be needing all of these purchased items, skills, and abilities...when I'm done diving, I can come back to the pavilion and purchase everything I want that will be available to me....yeah, sounds like the best plan.'

With her goals laid out before her, she decided to dive into the first world on her short list immediately, time waits for no one and it's best if she ascends quicker than not, Travelers are surely fighting over territory in Dome City, and with no police force to maintain order, it will be chaos soon...
