Chapter 3
The next morning when the sun rose from the east, Zero woke up from the sound of birds singing to welcome the new day. He stretched his hands up and went outside of his tent.
The moment Zero came out of his tent, his eyes met the beautiful view of the sun shining through the forest. He started to walk toward the end of the mountain to enjoy the beautiful view of Japan from the top of this mountain. From the top, he could see the green trees, the lakes and also buildings, houses and the place where he first arrived at this world, also those houses that looked very small but neatly arranged to a pattern. and its beauty became multiplied by the bright sun rays that fell from the sky. The morning sun mixed with the surrounding air that became cool with the morning breeze, he could hear the birds chirp beautifully. In his past life Zero never had the chance to enjoy a beautiful and refreshing Morning while standing on a mountain like this.
After enjoying the view for some time, Zero went to make a simple breakfast to fill his stomach. He took out bread and strawberry jam and peanut butter and made a simple jam bread. Yet again he's surprised with his newfound strength. He was just a normal human until yesterday. With just a single day his fate changed into a completely different one even now he's feeling like he's dreaming. Then he looked at the katana in his hand while smiling. He had always wanted to use a sword in his previous life, but the circumstances didn't allow him to do that.
Coming out from his thoughts, Zero looked for an empty place to sit and meditate first. He needs to concentrate and think about what skill he would create as his sword technique. But before that, he should create basic skills for him to use in a fight and also support him in his training.
Thinking about it for some time he created the following skills
1. A sensory skill that will make it easier for him to detect his surroundings and movements. He can use this to detect and find his enemy's movements. This skill is somewhat similar to observation haki in one piece, but not that advanced, as it will also help users to see the future for a couple of seconds, but it's only if the user masters it to a certain level of that technique. But Zero could also reach that level if he mastered this skill to the fullest. This skill will also help him to sense if something went wrong in his practice.
2. Second skill is somewhat similar to those qi absorb techniques in Chinese novels. This technique will help him to absorb energy from the surrounding air to his body. This technique also works automatically and helps him to adjust the energy and his body. And will also temper his body and make it stronger. so that he can become stronger continuously even without training. The energy he absorbs will also temper his soul and thanks to his absolute control souls, he could make his soul stronger and not let it be injured by any danger.
After creating those skills. He tried to concentrate and absorb surrounding energy or Mana into his body. The moment Mana passed through his body he felt so comfortable. It was a warm feeling. He could also feel he's become strong little by little, it's a slow yet stable increment. not strong enough for him, but for now, it was enough for him.
While absorbing Mana Zero started to think of a good sword technique for himself. As he doesn't need to absorb Mana while concentrating. He created this technique to work automatically without any bottlenecks. And for his sword skill, he started to think about cool techniques in those novels and animes he saw in his last life. While thinking about good sword skills, he remembered a technique in a Chinese novel he had read. That technique name was 'Heaven splitting Slash' A skill that will help users to split anything in one slash even slash through existing concepts.
The more he thought about that skill, the more he wanted to have it. It's a simple yet overpowered technique. He couldn't learn the same skill but he could create a similar one. With his strength, he couldn't create a skill that could split concepts but could create a technique that could evolve into that level. He started to concentrate on the main point or the most basic thing in that technique ' to be able to split anything with just a slash'.
After a while
Zero opened his eyes. He was able to create a basic version of that sword technique. Even though it's a basic one now with his increment in strength in the future, this technique will also grow with him.
Then Zero got up from the place where he just sat down a moment before. He started to slash the air in front of him continuously. Zero could feel he's getting good at this skill little by little. He started to increase his mastery over this skill by winging his sword continuously. until then he managed to slash the big rock beside him with just one slash.
After getting comfortable with his skill, he tried to apply mana into his slashes. First Zero tried to put a little bit of mana into his Katana as he didn't think it could handle too much into it. With that slash, he was able to split a rock with little to no effort. He didn't add too much mana into it as it would destroy his cheap sword. But like they said 'Curiosity killed the cat' but in this case, it's his sword. When he slashes a big rock near him with more mana, a huge curved slash sends out from his katana, which causes that rock to shatter with its ground. And it didn't take a second for the sword in his hand to be shattered as well.
Luckily for him, he made several swords beforehand. So Zero didn't have to bother making new ones again. even if that's not the case, he could always create a new one in a second.
With that, Zero also realized that he could add elements into his slashes such as fire, water, earth, lightning, and so on. But he needs to learn and convert mana into that elemental energy that can turn into fire and others.
Since Zero already knew what he was going to do next, he started to absorb mana like crazy, and try to transform mana into the elements he wanted.
The first thing he did was send out a mana ball through his hands and then he thought about increasing the temperature around that ball. The temperature around the mana ball started to rise and then a ball of fire, the size of a fist appeared in his arm. Although it's not strong, it is good enough for now.
Then he continued to try it with the water element in which he got a first-size water ball.
After that, he started to think of a way to create lightning. After some thought, he got a simple yet good idea, which is to create an electric shocker with his creation ability. He doesn't need to create lightning out of thin air as this product can help him. After creating an electric shocker, he created a Mana ball again and took his electric gun and used it on the mana ball which absorbs the electricity in that to his mana and a little lightning bolt came out from his hand. He started to analyse its nature, so he could create it next time without any external help. Like that he also got the element of thunder, even though it's weak now he could strengthen it in the future. Seeing this he also remembered a silver-haired boy in a certain anime.
Not stopping there he started to apply the wind around him into the mana ball he created on his hand, then a small vortex came out from his hand but instantly disappeared due to his lack of control, he continued to manipulate the elements that he knew the natures of. For now, he could manipulate fire, water, electricity and wind.
