Seeing his status, Zero became shocked. He did think his stats would rise significantly after he absorbed that incubus energy into his bloodline, but he got a new skill after absorbing that incubus energy and to his disappointment, his stats didn't change much.
With a disappointed face he got up from his bed as he wanted to go and see his external changes from a mirror but just as he was about to open the door, he accidentally crushed the doorknob of the door.
Zero dazedly looked at the crushed doorknob in his hand and the door over and over again until he cursed, "What the hell! Why did my strength change this much with only just 8 points, shouldn't it be at least 100 points in strength stat to crush this metal knob with just a normal grip.?
After thinking about this for a moment he understood, "Looks like one-point increase in strength stats is not a slight increase in his strength. He tried to grip his hand tightly and the crushed metal knob also turned into a metal ball under that pressure. Zero could feel his strength increase so much and he doesn't know how many times it is.
Nevertheless, he is pleased with this increment in his strength. but he knew he would have to practice a bit to learn to control this power.
Even though he had supernatural powers, if he couldn't use them well, he would die soon. So he had to find a place to train sometimes and learn new skills before he ran into a devil or a fallen angel who wanted to take his life.
After some thought, he decided to go and climb the mountain close to that dark forest. He could remember that in his predecessor's memories about this city. and also it's the same mountain that Rias and her peerage trained with Issei to fight the Rise phenex in a rating game.
Climbing the huge Mountain was also good training, and he could also fight wild animals to gain experience and practice his skills.
After a bit of planning about his training, he decided to go and get the food he needed for the training. He had an inventory in his system so keeping some food to eat while he was training was simple. He had to spend some time in the forest so storing the things he needed for sleep and other important things were also easy with this system. He also needed to buy a doorknob for this door so he could lock it.
Decided that, he got out of his house and headed for the supermarket.
While walking towards his destination, he looked around to see this beautiful world. it's not that different from his previous world but more colourful than that. He is surprised to see several birds heading towards him and trying to sit on his head. And also some women looked at him and blushed. He knew what it was, though he controlled the scent and didn't let it out when he didn't want to. He now has incubus energy or lust in his blood. and Incubus is the incarnation of lust. It would be if this didn't happen.
While thinking this, he soon reached his destination. He had money from his predecessor so buying food for him didn't bother him. He quickly got some fast food and water, soda, and a tent and some sheets for him to sleep on. And doorknobs too. He could create these things but who cares.
He soon bought these items from the counter and paid for them. The strangest thing that happened to him today was that the man at the cashier was looking at him strangely like a predator but Zero ignored the man and pretended like didn't see anything. He then took his food and ran back to his apartment. in a hurry.
He then prepared everything he needed for his training and stored them all in his inventory. and also fixed that doorknob. He then went outside to take a taxi. After some time he arrived near the mountain. It wasn't strange for the taxi driver to take him near the mountain because some people would come to hike or climb this mountain.
Zero even took a large travel bag from his apartment so as not to be suspicious of anyone, because he didn't bring anything. After the taxi went back, he started walking towards the mountain. After seeing that there's no one nearby, he put the bag in his inventory.
Even after a few hours, he is still walking towards this mountain. He could have taken the normal path to the top but then, it wouldn't lead to that forest, so he had to take the longer one.
He didn't feel anything even after crawling this mountain for hours. It could be said that his stamina and endurance were monstrous. He also enjoyed the view from the surroundings as he headed to the top. He's determined to find a way to fly after seeing this beautiful view from above. Zero could learn the concept of flying without using wings and then create a flying skill. First, he needed to learn how to produce and control Mana better.
After some time he reached the top of this mountain as well as the entrance to that forest. That means he is on the other side of the road or the opposite side. So there won't be any normal humans walking around here and bothering him.
He then sat down and relaxed for a while looking at the view from the top. After sitting there for a while he got up, it was dark outside and he needed to find a safe place to camp.
He didn't go too deep into the forest but made a tent at the border of the forest. Also, make a fire using his items and the logs and branches he picks up from the ground. It's still not time to eat or sleep so he goes out for a walk.
A few moments later he returned to his tent. On the way, he saw several wild boars and rabbits running around in the dark. This was an interesting experience for him because he had not done any camping in his last life. After thinking about his last life, he smiled. He got the chance to enjoy new things again, he would naturally squeeze this opportunity to the fullest.
Shaking his head, he took out some food from his inventory and started to eat. After eating his food he went into his tent after taking out the fire. He naturally had things to do tomorrow, so taking a good rest before that is important.
