I knew I wouldn't get hurt hitting the ground for two reasons. One my endurance is way too high for this to hurt. Two I was over an ocean. Well, the second reason would hurt if I was still human, but I'm clearly not.
I've used every type of transportation I have other than my bat swarm and my partial dragon transformation. So, I'll try out the bat swarm since the speed of a falling star should be useful.
My body was covered in black smoke before breaking apart and multiple bats took my place. I stopped falling and resumed flight. It felt more different than anything I've felt before.
It was like breaking my body into more than one being and controlling them all simultaneously. My speed was just a tad slower than flame travel. Flame travel had the speed of a lightning bolt. Which is almost instantaneous compared to a falling star.
Still, Flame travel uses a continuous amount of magic. Which doesn't affect my reserves that much, but does make a small dent. This could mean life or death depending on the opponents. I no longer have my Fountain of Youth ability to keep me alive.
Anyways, I think I've experimented with my abilities enough. Partial transformation can wait until later.

"I'm back!" I yelled walking into a dark room which was my team's room. That didn't stay dark long until my night vision activated.
The room flashed red showing my peerage all staring in my direction in the dark. Their eyes glowing red. Ravel was the only one who wasn't. She was laying down in her bed seeming to be exhausted. It was then that I caught the scent of blood coming from Ravel.
"What happened?" I asked, still looking at Ravel.
"She let us drink from her. We couldn't stop it and drained her dry. Surprised that she survived with five... What are we? Vampires? Draining her?" Raven answered and pondered.
"I see," I said, going over to Ravel and using health lending to help her out. It was a slow process, so I decided to use the lingering effects of Fountain of Youth.
Bringing my wrist to my mouth my fangs grew and pierced my skin drawing my blood. Propping Ravel up she was flushed and looked to have a fever. She started to stir when I propped her up.
"Mav-Mavros? What is going on?" she asked, still waking up but breathing heavily.
"I heard you were drained dry. My blood is a little special now. So, I'm going to help you." I told her before putting my wrist to her mouth. "Drink."
Not having the strength to even try to refuse, she listened.
Focusing on Ravel, I didn't even notice someone approaching me. I only noticed it when I felt a prick in my neck. It didn't hurt, but it surprised me.
"What are you doing, Ruby?" I asked not to move now using my senses to tell who it is.
"Ruby seems to have gained a sweet tooth for blood. She just kept draining Ravel long after we finished." Raven said.
"What about everyone else?" I asked.
"They... are a little shocked. Asia seemed to feel like she sinned and kept praying to a GOD. While Eri is upset that she hurt someone close to her. Yang... well hasn't said anything, just is quiet." Raven answered.
"What about you?" I asked.
"Me. Well, I'm a little surprised, but it gives me power. I can already feel the power flowing through me. If I had to drink blood to maintain it would be a small price to pay." Raven answered.
"Surprised Ruby isn't more freaked out by the changes," I said, pulling my wrist away from Ravel whose color started returning to her.
"Thanks, Mavros, I feel much better. I think I'm just going to sleep now though." Ravel said, turning over to go to sleep.
Ruby was still latched on to my back draining my blood.
"Ruby, if you don't stop drinking my blood, I'll never let you drink it again," I said, causing her to disappear into a cloud of red petals and appearing away from me.
She wiped her mouth with her sleeve and looked at me with her red haze eyes. I could still see her eyes were silver just the vampire side was showing through.
"Sorry, Mavros, it just smelled so good. Reminding me of mom's cooking," she said with a small frown. "Anyways, I am surprised that I've changed races. I know you mentioned it, but a vampire was not my thought. If you are wondering why I'm okay, drinking blood. Well, I just imagine it as strawberry juice."
"You know you're not just a vampire, right?" I asked. "You are a hybrid of two creatures. A vampire and a dragon. A weaker version of what I am." I told her and everyone else heard me.
"Hold up a dragon? Guess my dad's nickname for me is more on the point now." Yang said, coming into the conversation.
"I thought the race would be the same as yours. Based on your explanation of the evil pieces." Ruby said, confused.
"I'm guessing it's because my race is too strong for the other pieces. Meaning only the king piece can handle the strain of the transformation." I theorized. "If I had to explain your race compared to mine. I'm a perfect mix of the strongest aspects of a vampire and a Dragon. While you all have both the weaknesses and strengths."
"What weaknesses?" Raven said, glaring in my direction.
"Sunlight. Is the main weakness. However, the Dragon side of your race should save you from turning to ash. You will just feel sluggish during the day." I explained.
"How do you know for sure?" Asia asked, coming out of her prayers.

"Let's just say I had help," I said, surprised that the system confirmed my theory.
