Chapter 24: Visiting ORC!

"Eri, Ophis here is going to be watching you today. I want you to listen to her. Tomorrow I'll sign you up for school.", I told her, making her happily nod and giving me a hug. I patted her head and headed for the door. I was stopped by a murderous intent again and turned around to Ophis.

She walked up to me giving me a hug so I gave her a pat on the head. She walked away back to the table and I quickly turned around and headed to school.

'I don't understand, is Ophis just repeating what I'm doing with Eri, or is there something more.', I thought to myself. I shook my head leaving those thoughts for later and started a light jog to school.

I got to school disappointed I couldn't even gain a point into any of my stats and headed to class. I made it to my class and decided to just read the science book. I was reading the information and everything just came to me like I already knew it.

I finished it much faster than I thought I would and as soon as I finished class started. I didn't even bother listening when I read the whole book. I used my new ability [Creation] and made a quarter and just twirled it around my fingers. I just did that for the whole class when it ended I decided to visit the ORC.

I had nothing else to do and I had a free period. I made it to the ORC and noticed no one was here other than one person that was in a sealed room. I debated visiting them but decided not to do it yet. I just went into the ORC's main room and laid down on their couch.

I ended up falling asleep and woke up to the ORC members coming into the room. They looked confused with me being in here but only one of them showed hostility. It was Kiba who kept sending glares my way.

"What are you doing here?", Rias asked me.

"I had a free period and decided to visit your club. I ended up falling asleep and ended up missing the whole day.", I told them not caring about missing my classes.

"Did you want something from us?", Rias asked me.

"No, I don't want to cash in a favor with you Rias... yet.", I told her.

"Well, with you being here I have to ask how are you getting so strong so fast? I can feel your stronger but I know you're hiding most of your strength.", she told me.

"It's something you can't do. It's one of my special abilities.", I told her, making her pout.

"Well, I'm going to leave. I need to get back home. I have people waiting for me. If I don't get back and make dinner for them one of them may kill me.", I said waving goodbye. They all just watch me walk away without saying anything to me.

I made it back home and when I opened the door I had to dodge a snake thrown at me. Ophis was glaring at me and Eri was just sitting in the living room happily watching tv.

"What took you so long?", Ophis asked me.

"Sorry, I fell asleep at school. I'm guessing you want some food?", I asked her. She nodded at me and I quickly went into the kitchen and made more food. I decided to make a variety of sweets for dessert to make up for being late. I made some brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and banana pudding. I served it and Eri and Ophis dug in straight away. I wasn't hungry so I started cleaning up. 'My life just got much more hectic, when I have a Dragon God living with me.', I thought to myself.

I was walking through town getting to know the place. I was doing this because I realized that even though I have lived here for a week I don't know the place well. I basically just went home right after school to cook food for Ophis and Eri.

The week with Ophis and Eri was awkward. Eri has recently started attending school so for the first few days I would come home before Eri and find Ophis alone. She would just watch me not saying anything and it creeped me out. Eri got home an hour after I did.

She would rush to me and give me a hug and after Ophis saw this she would always hug me after. It was awkward for me at first because I don't know what she is thinking but I didn't let it get to me.

Whenever I did something with Eri, Ophis would want me to do the same thing with her. It was like she was trying to claim dominance over me sometimes. I figured she would tell me in time and let it slide.

Ophis and Eri wanted to come with me on my walk through the town but I told them I had things to do and they should stay home. I more wanted to be alone for a while since I hadn't been alone for a while. It also was nice to go on a jog instead of training in my house over the week. It was helping me grow stronger but hardly gave me any stat gains.

I was thinking about going into a dungeon but I hadn't gained any new places yet for my skill. I have only used it twice so my skill only reached level 2. I could spam it but I haven't done it yet.
