Living in the forest part 2

A couple of weeks have passed since the last time that I saturated my body within the orb of vitality. I finally reached rank 40 and was now ready to use the orb to consolidate these 10 levels.

I took a step forward in my inner world and allowed the orb to saturate me in the rich vital spirit energy. My mind once again was left in a comforting daze as the impurities in my bones and blood were cleansed as a layer of impurities once again found its way onto my skin.

Once my mind returned from that fuzzy dreamlike state and I was able to think clearly once again I made my way to take another bath. The stench of impurities was something I would not subject myself to a second longer than I needed. After inspecting myself and finding that these last 10 levels were consolidated to the peak of perfection to match the other 30, I made my way back to home base where I was ready to construct my underground training field.

I stood in the cave and directly cast a kido that dug a a deep hole spanning a couple of meters and compacting the displaced dirt on the walls so as to give the hole a structural integrity. the walls were so solid that tremors caused by earthquakes would not collapse the tunnel.

after a few more of those kidos I was deep enough underground to start the construction of the main field.

With a kido spell based off the last one I directed my spiritual energy to encompass a large area before all the dirt within that field of spirit energy was quickly dislodged and evicted outwards where it was compacted to form the sturdy outer shell of the training field. After regaining my breath and refilling my reserves I repeated this kido to dislodge another chunk of earth and expand the cavern. It took me three whole days of digging and resting before the underground cavern reaches an appropriate size.

After making sure all the walls were compacted and sturdy enough to withstand a couple of bijudamas, I started the kido incantation that would replicate the underground sky that would give the field a source of light.

A couple of kidos to reinforce the already sturdy wall and to circulate the air and cleanse the spirit energy in the underground training field and I was all set to buckle down for the next five and a half years.

It has already been half a year since I have entered the spirit forest and now that I have a solid home base, I think its about time to pick my first ability. I sat down cross legged in a meditative position and delved into my inner world. Once there I used my dojutsu to send out a tendril from the floating orb and directly connected it to my first spirit ring. slowly the energy started making its way into the ring and the white ring quickly became yellow. Then yellow became purple. Before long it had reached black then stopped on a dark shade of red. at this point mostly all of the energy within the orb had been depleted and I was able to see most of the abilities in bleach and Naruto on full display. The only abilities that were still gray were those that I'm assuming will require a million year golden ring. It made sense though since the ones that were gray were abilities like the captain comanders bankai or ichigos final transformation or ten tails jinchuuriki etc... etc.

From all the abilities present I already knew which one I was going to pick. So I stepped forth and clicked on the square bellow before selecting my first spirit ability. After the square that represented an empty slot disappeared I immediately saw the changes to my inner world. numerous butterflies emerged from the now red ring. each having the same black and yellow patterns on their wings.

Thats right I picked Soi Fons released zanpakuto suzumebachi as my first rings ability. I know I could have picked a more powerful ability but I wanted my first spirit ability to compliment all the knowledge and skills passed on to me by my predecessors and having the ability to double tap someone to death was too good to pass up. I also thought the idea of leaving butterfly marks every time I land a hit to be really cute. Cough I mean I picked it because of my assassination build.

Soi Fons zanpakuto was perfect for me based on the fighting style passed on to me by my predecessors. When paired with yoruichis speed, Orochimaru ability to swerve around attacks and bypass someones defense like a true snake, and Nejis gentle fist style then it becomes a deadly tool in my hands. My foundation and sword style are already beautiful and deadly thanks to Byakuya and my Genjutsu abilities are superb thanks to itachis experience taking the ability of my dojutsu to a level others could only dream of. All that was missing was a quick way to end my opponents if they had a defense too strong to bypass in my base form and now with suzumebachi I can kill with just two taps.

I activated my first ring and saw my asauchi split in two and cover the middle finger of both hands. I marveled at the change and wondered why it was different from the original. It turns out that because I used a spirit ring that was overpowered to exchange for the skill and I practiced the gentle fist style the zanpakuto adjusted itself to suit me by evolving. I was so happy that I started jumping around like a little kid before realizing that I was a kid and laughing even harder.

Since I chose Soi Fons release zanpakuto and not her bankai I could only use The released state. I was worried that I was going to spend decades trying to master a zanpakuto and that was why I chose one that complimented my fighting style. I though I would have to pick the next power to also mach my style, but my fear went away once memories of all the past owners of suzumebachi started condensing into orbs of light in the spirit sea of my inner world.

It will take me a while to fully incorporate the newly acquired techniques and fighting experience but it will take a lot less time than if I were to try to develop them on my own.
