Chapter-7 : Three Months Later

Three months had since that cat incident.

Many things had happened in the last three months.

One of the biggest being the completion of my projects, I was now owner of a business empire, I owned almost a fifth of all small businesses in the city and a third of food and entertainment businesses.

I was a bonafide multimillionaire, sitting upon hundreds of millions, and all of this was done from the shadows, away from heroes' attention, I wasn't the single person who held that all.

Of the remaining men 'father' raised, most of them were still very loyal to the family, all of these businesses were running under their names.

To the city and higher ups, it's just seemed that many different entrepreneurs appeared in the city, but in actuality, all the cash inflow was turned towards me, while I also paid them handsomely.

They didn't pay much attention to it as most of the sector Vaught wanted to control was still under their control, they never even saw me as a competitor, after all, I was just a rich guy with a few hotels a f restaurants running in the city.

And since all this was slowly boosting the economy a bit, no one really had anything to oppose them about it.

Other than that, my team of loyal soldiers had been training pretty well, they had achieved basic mastery of the 6 arts, mostly in the finger pistol and air slash.

I had even started their haki training, and by the pace they were going, it's gonna take them a full year to reach basic levels.

It cut close but worked, even now they were very powerful, they could kick asses of most sups right now, but the top ones would still beat the piss out of them.

They didn't have some super crazy attribute like regeneration, they were still mostly human, their recovery speed was still pretty average, therefore Haki was a crucial part for them if they wanted to face supes.

Not only it would allow them to counter supe powers, but also provide an active defense against their crazy strengths and powers, at least they won't die facing someone like homelander for at least minute or so.

Since I had benefit of technology here, making them awaken their observation Haki was going to be pretty easy, and as for conquer, I don't know man, it's a 50-50 chance, either you have it or you don't.

On the other spectrum of things, I had been going out with Annie for a while now.

She was really shy at first, she was raised pretty conservatively by her mother, but after a month or so she started being normal around me.

I was also enjoying my time around her, it wasn't like I didn't have a relationship before, it was just that there was no girl in this world that caught my eye, well, except her.

Also it was getting quite boring teaching grown áss men how to fight and use their powers.

I would rather spend time chatting with a beautiful girl, and yes, she's over 18, so it's all good.

Though we haven't moved ahead of kisses and cuddling, perhaps a bit of touching, but nothing else, as I said, she still had some reservations in her mind about that, and from my experience, don't make a move until the lady had completely fallen for you, it would only get you in trouble.

Currently, she knows about me being a millionaire, not that she cared about that, and knows I am owner or a multimillion dollar chain of businesses all around the city.

It was quite the scene seeing her shocked cute face as I took her to the most VIP dinner place in the most expensive restaurant of the city.

That Pikachu look on her face when I told her that I owned the whole building was worth hiding it all.

Currently I was spying on the every character from the whole series, even the side characters that apeared for at most two episodes.

From Hughie Campbell to William "Billy" Butcher to Marvin (Mother's Milk) and Serge (Frenchie)

Their lives were going pretty boring as always, well except Billy, he finds himself in some shit every other week, though he manages to solve them out.

Still, he was trying pretty hard to gain any kind of evidence to put Vaught and Homelander in nasty, stinking hot pile of shit.

But apparently as though it was for plot development, Homelander and Vaught seemed pretty tamed in their actions right now.

Then there was Hughie, trying to make most of his life in that electronics store and his girlfriend, Robin.

Marvin was a family man right now, enjoying his life with his family while Frenchie on the other hand was living his life as a hired gun and a robber when not working, He was working alongside Cherie, the local contractor for hits and bounties, while I was her new employer, but she didn't know that.

All in all, everything was going how I was supposed to, even with my existence, worlds had the tendency to not change until the intended person for the mission died.
