"So renz, what are your thoughts about participating directly?"
John ask. (Renz is lorenzo's nickname)
"Ehhh.. what about you Badz?.. I really want it you know, I only read it on novels.. so I won't to experience it!"
Lorenzo response with determination.(Badz is John's nickname)
"Well uhhh.. I'll think about it.. I also want to experience it you know but a want to have the opinions of my parents first and maybe you should to.. even though your father and your stepmom at her family is making things hard to you.. you know they are still your family bro".
John smiled and said.
"Uhh.. your correct but I will only ask my father about it!.. and I'll make sure that I'll be the choosen.. hehe"
Lorenzo said and smirk...
"Ahahahah sure, I'll also make sure to be a choosen".
Lorenzo and john smiled and laugh.

Lorenzo's house*
"Hey dad!... What are your thoughts about to he summoning?"
(Lorenzo)
"Hmmm.. why are you asking about it? Do you want to vote to who or you want to?.."
Lorenzo's father response in deep Voice.
"Heee.. *smirk.. I'll participate directly, no need to vote.. I know stepmom's family won't participate and I won't let you!"
Lorenzo replied.
"Well... Are you really sure? I won't for you but still.."
"Hey stop it.. I won't change my mind".
Lorenzo cut his father's sentence and leave.
Looking at his son's departing figure he sigh.
' I was just concerned about you, haysss.. it was my mistake that make you trait me like that..'

Lorenzo also know deep inside him that his father was concern about him, but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for him, so he won't let it pass!..

John was walking on the street to go home in dazed. He was thinking of what reason he should give to his family in order to be pick, even though it was dangerous and full of unknown he still wants to participate.
He doesn't want any member of his family to be the one in danger because of his incompetent and him being a coward.
Manu things and memories of him with his family flash in his mind in blink of an eye, just like watching a movie with 3x playback speed.
He remember that he have many opportunities that chances give him but he just let it go, because he wants to pay his family first by successfully past university and have a better job after graduating.
He wants his family to have a good life and he wants them to be happy.
He doesn't want them to do risk for him now that he have a chance to.

Arriving at the front of their house he looked in dazed, but he still go and open the door to enter.
*Creak...
Sounds of the door that is too old already sounds to his ear.
John looked around and found that all of his family members are already around the table discussing something.
His mom looked at him and smiled.
"Son you should clean yourself first, then after that join us here".
His mom said with slightly nervous voice.
"Uhh.. Okay."
John response nervously.
It was his first time being nervous by just talking to his mom.

A few moments later he join the family meeting.

"So everyone what do you think we should..."
His father was talking but John cut him.
"Hey dad, I want to participate in the summoning.. I... I -I want to be the one participating from our family"
John said nervously.
But....
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT!?"
His mom yelled at him.p
"I don't want any of you be randomly summoned!.. I don't want you mom, little sister and any of my older siblings to be summoned cause you're all women, and I don't want father to be summoned because he can protect you all but I can't!..
I'll participate so that you all be safe!. I know it's dangerous but all I want is for you all to be safe!..
Dad, I know you're upset, I know you want to be the one summoned than us, because you think it's much better right?"
John replied then ask.
"Indeed, it's much better if it's me."
His father stared at him while talking and added.
"Why do you think you're reason is valid? Do you think I won't object? Just because you said it?."
His father ask him.
"I...I-I-I don't things it-it is.. but I also want to be su-summoned even it is dangerous that can cause my life.. I want to provide a safety for you all even if it cause my life.. maybe after I died inside he won't summoned anyone again from this family.. r-right?"
John said in nervous tone.
"Why do you want to DIE?"
His mom ask angrily.
"No I won't let you.."
His father said calmly.
"I-I already a-aplied.."
"What do you think you're doing" (2x)
"When I was on the street walking I already applied willingly. B-because I know you all won't let me...".
John replied with his head down.
*Sigh... (2x)
"What you-you.."
His Mom said but she can't finish what he wants to say to his son.
"Alright.. since we can't do anything anymore.. you should rest early.. we will prepare things necessary for your survival.. *sighhhh... " His father said.
"Oh.. o-okay"
Then john go to his room.

"Why did you just let him go?"
Eve (john's mother) said to Fred(john's father).
(Sorry for a late name)
"Sighhh.. what can we do he already applied for it..hayssss..."
Fred replied and he looked outside of the window, deeply staring at the slowly setting sun.

John was walking while staring at the golden screen in front of him.
