At that point Wang Die said that he needed to settle accounts with Long Jin and the teacher told them that private fights aren't permitted in the academy however challenges are accepted, he says that if they need to settle grievances they can challenge eachother and a teacher will be assigned to supervise the challenge,

During the challenge they were allowed to attack their opponents with any fighting weapon available to them as long as they do not kill eachother, the challenge ends either by one party admitting defeat or losing the capability to fight on.

Without waiting for the teacher to finish his explanation Wang Die challenges Long Jin, Long Jin simply looks at him and asks why he should accept his challenge. Everyone including the teacher is shocked by this response at which the teacher says that anyone is free to either accept or deny a challenge.

However during the challenge bets are acceptable and the bets stipulated before the challenge will be enforced by the supervising teacher, after hearing that Wang Die said that he will bet his spatial storage ring and all the contents within it. He says that if he wins he will retain his ring and Long Jin will find a different seat while if he loses he won't come after Long Jin's death anymore and he will use his ring as compensation.

This was a very one sided deal and everyone could tell, not very many people had been present when Long Jin awakened his spirit soul and since he wasnt popular like them his information didn't spread as easily, because of this not many knew exactly what he was capable of.

While Long Jin was pondering he looked towards his teacher who nodded his head at him, it seemed like his teacher was telling him to accept the challenge, now this could have been a trick with the teacher working along with Wang Die as a way of getting his way into their family.

It could also be his teacher looking out for him but he couldn't know at the moment, however he also remembered that Long Bei had told him spirit masters need to be brave and shouldn't be afraid of taking risks, its risky situations that stimulate one's potential to rise. Long Bei then tells him a true spirit master never turns down any chance to fight most especially against powerful opponents.

Because of that Long Jin finally accepts the challenge and the teacher tells them that their fight will take place in the after noon during their combat class, all in class challenges will be handled at that time and they would act as opening matches to the combat class, only though combat can one raise their combat efficiency.

He sends Wang Die back to his previous seat and he tells everyone that the seat they have chosen for themselves will be their seat for the remainder of the year and it cannot be changed unless in strenuous circumstances like a battle challenge.

As he says that he snaps his fingers and energy washes over the class, the seats develop names on them and the names were of the students sitting on them, this was a very powerful skill native to space elemental spirit masters.

Suddenly the spirit ring behind their teacher appears as his eyes turn silver grey, the spirit ring was dirty grey and it had six silver notches on it, their teacher was a spirit emperor making him an incredible powerful being in the domain. There weren't that many high level spirit masters and a spirit emperor was already considered a poweful being.

He started teaching them about the different types of spirit masters, their advantages and disadvantages, he makes an example of Yu Zhuli who had just awakened but was already assigned to the medicine branch, although they are mainly assisting spirit masters, they are capable of attacks and their attacks are normally impossible to defend against.

Because of that although they are weaker than many spirit masters they are highly respected in the spirit master world. The most common type of spirit master is the battle spirit master, these are spirit masters whose main purpose is to fight, they have great fighting potential but even they are divided into three sub groups.

There are combat spirit masters who specialize in defence and as such are called defense type spirit masters, they do not possess great attacking potential but their defense is second to none, then there are spirit masters who specialize in speed and are hence forth called speed type spirit masters. Their defence isnt that good and their attavking potential is average but they make up for that with their speed.

During a fight they are incredible hard to pin down and as such they are the best at creating chaos during a battle field or eliminating potential threats before they become actual threats. Lastly we have the front attacking type spirit masters, they have the greatest attack potential which comes at a compromise of defense and speed,

If they attack with moderate speed their defence is completely vulnerable and if they can attack with some defense then their speed is extremely slow, but on rare occasions we see the appearance of dual type spirit masters.

These are spirit masters that have mastered more than one form of attack and use them perfectly without compromising the other, they are mostly attacking spirit masters that have a high level of defense or a high level of speed along with their high level of attack, in the rarest of occasions we can encounter a spirit made that is great at all three combat types.

Such spirit matters are known as the perfect warrior and they are incredibly hard to take down, he then takes them through the difernet ranks of spirit masters, the entire class was majorly an introduction to spirit masters and students got to ask all their itchy questions and the instructor would give them the answers.

Lunch came earlier than they had expected, like every one else Long Jin had registered his weapon with the dojo and those that had storage rings could keep their weapons for themselves otherwise the weapon would be stored in th dojo's armory.

Long Jin was one such student and he had stored his weapon with the dojo's armory, by the end of lunch time everyone was looking at him weirdly, apparently it had become public knowledge that he had challenged Wang Die.

Everyone k ew the strength of the Wang family, therewerent many that could take them on head on not only in Haungdi domain but in the entoetyvof the domain land, the Wnag Family along with the Feng Family and a few othersike thr Bing and Yu families were the pride of the Huangdi domain in addition to the Huang family.

This was the reason why the Feng family was given an entire city to run as they liked, the Wng family would have recoeved a city of their own as well however they were personally requested by the royal family to stay within the imperial city, because of that they can have family outposts within other cities but their roots are in the imperial capital.

Because of this they demanded high respect in whichever city they were located in, the only people capable of making them tak a step back are normally the city heads because each city heading family is atleast on the same level as the Wang family.

However a situation where an unknown peasant actually rose up to go against the wang family was news to them, although they said that inside the dojo they were all equals they wouldn't always be within the grounds of the dojo. The dojo didn't even grant them accomodation and as such they needed to find where to stay within the city.

It was easy fr a big family to find you and take revenge for what you had said or done within the dojo and since tr incident happens outside the dojo it wouldn't be punishable by the dojo, as such no one actually dared to go against them even within the dojo, Long Jin had his lunch in peace as he pondered upon his upcoming fight.

From a distance Feng Lei was watching him, she knew he was going to be beaten up because of her and he didn't even intend to get close to her, simply because chose a seat next to his he has been placed in he cross hairs of the Wang family.

She was sitting with her brother and they were watching him together, even in the third year Feng Yan had already heard of h upcoming duel, he understood quite well what she was going through and he knew she blames herself for it.

He told hr tha it want her fault it was just Long Jin's bad luck, she tells him that Long Jin didn't even provoke anyone, he was already seated in his place when she came and sat before him. She didn't know he was sitting behind her chosen seat otherwise she never would've chosen it.

She ten says that he didn't even want to have he challenge and he initially turned it down but Wang Die insisted and pressured him into accepting the challenge thanks to their homeroom teacher, she then says that if anything is to happen to him she wouldn't forgive herslef.

Feng Yan understood her pain, eversince they were children Feng Lei has always been different even among the Feng family, for one she didn't spirt the traditional red hair but she was born with te purple hair native to the Huangdi family. She was also more peaceful and not a dominating as the rest of the family members.

Many believed her too soft but he could tell she wasnt soft, in reality she simply displayed empathy but she was tough when she needed to be and she could also be dangerous, her talent was rivaling his even when the was a child so he was certain she would be better than him.

He promised her that should anything happen to Long Jin he would do anything within his power to save him and his family, after hearing him say that she was pleased, she knew the positionnherbrothr held in th family despite the fact that they were both still young,

She was just ten years old and he had just made 14 years old but even then he wielded massive power within the family, if he promised to take care of him then Long Jin would be fine without a doubt so she chose to let it be.

Once he was done with his lunch Long Jin left the cafeteria and headed to the armory to pick up his weapons, on registration to the dojo he had registered not only his spear but also a sword amd shield, he wanted to learn defensive martial arts as well despite the fact that he was proficient in attacking martial arts.

He was well aware that his developing battle skill may be a combination of both so he chose to use the time at the a academy to study defensive battle skills while he practices attacking battle strategy with his father who had real war experience and hence teaches from experience.

In reality he would have liked to utilize this fight to practice his defensive battle skills but this wasnt a regular battle so he needed to be careful, for this battle he needed to utilize his best skills and he would have threats of the year to train in his defensive martial arts and strategies.

As he picks his soear he encounters a few seniors who look at him with utmost pity, it seemed like everyone was expecting him to lose this fight horribly and this pushed him even more to show them that you should never underestimate anyone in a fight.

After picking his spear it felt different this time, he put it off as nervousness for even if he was sure he wasn't going to be dominated in this fight he wasnt 100 percent sure of his victory. The main reason was that he didn't actually know anything about his opponent,

While the rest of his colleagues spent their childhood with stories about the different families and their strengths and characteristics he was spending his time with his father in the forge either forging or practicing martial arts.

As such he only knew about the family's name because it was a big family in the city and it originated from the imperial capital, beyond that he knew absolutely nothing about them, he made his way to the arena where he found a procession in process.

The teacher had arrived earlier and there was more than one, they had Meng Luo the teacher in charge of their class and then they had another teacher who Long Jin assumed would be their combat instructor, all sixty of his classmates were already in the stands and more students from other classes were still trickling in.
