Things Change

"UNANIMOUS!?" Luci cried, angrily plopping down in a chair in the lobby.

"Well, if you didn't want her here then why would you vote y-"

"It's not that...!" Luci looked down.

"Oho...?" Randall grinned.

"Are you perhaps...jealous?"

Luci quickly jumped up.

"A-ABSOLUTELY NOT...!" He stammered, blushing wildly.

"Jealous Kat voted yes for Dia and you no...?" He smirked.

"S-shut it..." Luci grumbled.

"Kat!" Nana shouted, as Kat passed by.

"Huh?" Kat looked down.

"Hello, Nana." She smiled.

"H-how come-"

"NANA!" Luci clapped his hands together.

"Come, let's go get lunch!" Luci cried, grabbing the girl by the arm, dragging her away.

"But Luci..." Nana pouted.

"Who cares what she thinks about us!" Luci exclaimed.

"M-mm!" Nana nodded, as the two marched out the door.

"Clearly you do..." Claudia muttered as the door closed.

"Oh right," she began, turning to Kat.

"I meant to ask, what was your reasoning voting against Luci and Nana?" She questioned.

Kat looked at her then quickly looked down.

"I-it was nothing..." Kat whispered.

"I-I just..." She narrowed her eyes.

"Didn't want things to change here, that's all..." She blushed.

"I suppose it can't be helped now after all..." She muttered as she bit her lip.

"That's why I voted yes for Dia..."

"Y-ya happy...!?" She cried, storming off.

"Kat..." Claudia frowned.

Still, something doesn't seem right about Dia... Kat thought to herself.

"No one would ever believe me though..." She whispered as tears filled her eyes.
