Goal

As night fell the professor, coming back from teaching a class was walking towards the apartment building. Coming closer, he noticed Dia standing outside. He narrowed his eyes.

Do I confront her…? He wondered to himself.

Suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. The professor quickly spun around.

"You look awfully familiar y'know…" Dia smirked.

The professor grinned.

"Do I now?" He asked.

"Y'know, what a coincidence, I was just thinking the same about you." He said.

"The princess of hell…" He narrowed his eyes.

"Whatever it is you're doing here on earth, it must not be good." He frowned.

"Now, now Mr. royal guard…" Dia said smugly.

"Aren't you supposed to be home protecting my family?" She asked.

"More importantly…" She frowned.

"Shouldn't you be the one responsible for bringing our next in line back." She glared.

The professor looked down for a moment.

He then pulled out his lighter.

"Is that right?" He asked, lighting a cigarette.

"Don't play dumb, traitor!" Dia cried.

The professor sighed.

"Why should I continue serving a cause that means nothing to me?" He asked.

Dia clicked her tongue.

"You're lucky I don't clip your wings off right here, right now." She glared.

"Oh?" He chuckled.

"Go ahead, I have no use for them…" He narrowed his eyes.

"Seeing as I have no desire to return back there." He muttered.

"Now, enough about me..." He began.

"What's your goal, Dia?" He frowned.

"Heh…" Dia grinned.

"You'll find out soon enough, traitor." She said, turning away.

The professor watched as she walked back into the building.

He let out a sigh as he lit another cigarette.
