Character Development is interesting however ir takes too long. When reading the battles, it felt as though the story was repeating from previous battles. Chapter releases take too long as well. It sound like the author wants to drop this work, if we were to judge on release frequency and main comment from author.
Chapter 100+ and above started to feel unbearably lame (I've only got up to 125). The way the stories were presented couldn't really invoke interests. So in chapters where the author attempted to make us feel invested in any specific topic (mostly sad side stories), I couldn't really feel it. In fact I felt that some of the developments were kinda forced. For some side characters, if I put their traits on a list, initially I'd think they'd become interesting characters. Yet when I actually started reading about the said characters, the way they were presented couldn't really invoke interests. Sometimes I'd even feel like they were wasting word counts, and that I would rather they didn't speak and just had short summaries of whatever they did being written instead. Honestly I have no idea what else to say. I'm feeling too disappointed to collect my thoughts. Also I'd like to point out that before chapter 100, or maybe only up to a few tens of chapters before it, the story was actually pretty interesting. I don't usually unlock chapters with paid coins, but I did. That should speak volume as to how interested I was. Anyway I still plan to continue on reading, with fingers crossed. I noticed that during the span of those kinda disappointing chapters, I noticed notes about the author having some other difficulties. This wouldn't be the first original story where I noticed things started to tank, and it just so happened to be during the time the author was having other difficulties. So basically I think I can give it another chance for now.
I'll try not spoil anything major. I've read over 300 chapters. The main character is reincarnated and becomes childhood friends with a Hero. He sets out on his own personal quest to save his friend from predetermined destiny. Along the way, they gain power, notoriety and girls. The author creates a world and history that helps define the characters and events.
Really Interesting novel, and a pretty good spin of transmigration and enjoyable anti-hero comedy. It's a total refreshing feeling reading about the hero complex being exploited subtly by the author and making the protagonist a somewhat dead-pan humorous anti-hero! 10/10 would recommend this to any reader
