It took awhile to regain control of my body, i already knew that i wasn't in a human body to begin with. It made it easier to cope with the fact that little silver and his two friends have long gone and will never return.

"Already at level 5 huh?" i said in my head. My current body has neither the eyes to see and the mouth to speak.

I am completely blind to my surroundings, the status windows are the only proof that i am actually alive.

Being flustered to the fact that I am blind as a bat gave me an idea. "Speaking of bats, don't they use echolocation as a way to move around without smacking themselves into walls?"

Scan, it lighted up as i looked forward and waited for a moment. Soon objects like rocks, weeds, a tree, a dead body by the tree, a mice sniffing the hand of the dead body appeared on my view.

Their figure were highlighted by thin lines that made them cartoon like, and basic information about them appeared.

Things like trees and rock showed no further information other than their species or composition.

Dragon leaf tree. A tree common in the old dragon den forest.

Common rock. A rock composed mainly of silicon, lime, clay, and quarts.

Kip mouse. A mouse native to the old dragon den forest. They are the most common rodents are a food source of goblins and kobolds.

Oh damn, isn't this guy a powerhouse? My mind went poof as i scanned his numerous title. I began to wonder how he died, a powerful explosion and powerful earthquake was the first thing i heard before he croaked.

I continued to scan my surroundings, I haven't mastered its use yet so i clumsily moved around. I also tried out the mana production that the Goddess girl told me about, releasing strings of it to act as my walking stick.

I tried to combine both scan, mana mastery and mana production to produce a much powerful way to scan my surroundings. It took a few tries before i balanced out the perfect ratio of the skills.

Now, i don't have to worry about filling my vision with words from the scan and i successfully increased the size of the scan by stretching out my mana "tentacles" for a lack of a better term.

As i practiced my new skill, an exclamation mark appeared in the corner of my vision. Accessing my status window i noticed that i seemed to have learned a new skill.

Mana sense, sense the surrounding mana and increase sensitivity on any phenomena related to mana.

Mana eyes, a new form of eyesight where one can use their mana to sense the flow of the world.

I excitedly activated both and even combined all of my abilities, hoping to get more details or skills as a result. A quick jolt of pain caused me to deactivate them all though, it seems that some skills were conflicting with each other.

An experiment session allowed me to finally get a perfect vision of the world.

Farseer, Allows to see the future for a fraction of a second.

All seeing, See hidden items, invisible beings, and see through traps and camouflaged objects.

Eye, a normal pair of eyes.

As a true believer of the sayings, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and finder's keepers. I Silver will not hesitate to become a loot goblin and shall take care of your worldly possessions.

Once i cleared up my consciences, i began to strip the old man naked and take all of his stuff leaving his body butt naked on the wild.

Wearing his robes, i thanked the otherworldly Gods for not having the nose to smell someone else's clothes.

Using my mana sense i found the old man's hide out, well hidden with earth magic i slowly descended a hole that was constructed with magic. The underground man cave was surprisingly well lit, even if it was dark, i could've used my senses to find my way around.

It was a maze to move around, thankfully i experimented around my magic skills earlier. I found several holding cells for goblins and other monsters, i promptly ended their lives for a quick boost of experience points for my level.

Only after killing about 50 or so monsters did i find the main room where the old man kept his stuff. Most of which are research documents and a diary.

Day 368: Those accursed fools decided to finally kick me out of the magic tower! They're jealous of my research progress! Their misguided hatred towards the earth element and their jealousy nearly got me killed. Thankfully i fled faster than they anticipated.

Day 621: My research has slowed down significantly, without any resources and assistants to use i haven't made any progress in the creation of this new form of magic!

Day 834: I went to the neighbouring country and tried to enlist in their magical academy, they were delighted to know of my skills. However, when they learned that i specialised in earth element, they immediately chased me out. How blind are they to my brilliance!

Day 988: I finally made a breakthrough! I went around and captured goblins for my experiments and found out that their magi cores can be transformed into special cores that can power my golems!

Day 1453: I have made a few hundred prototypes now, however they're not strong enough to defeat a goblin in a duel. Even five of them are barely enough to subdue a single goblin!

Day 2082: Another breakthrough! I found out that i can make a heart and a brain for my golems! Each of these special cores needs monster cores though, i will have to gather more goblins, but their numbers have decreased. Maybe a breeding chamber might alleviate the shortage of goblins.

Day: 3127: Finally! I made the best prototype! An orc warlord magi core for its brain, and a kobold alpha magi core for its heart! Now all i need to do is do further testing.

The diary ended at Day 3127, i sighed with both admiration and surprise. To think that my creator was a figure with near legendary achievements. I then moved on to the research documents that laid haphazardly on the table.
