As Trazyn transverse and roamed a 'gallery' of some kind – a museum – he concluded as he observed and appreciated the wonderous and various aspects of arts; different from each other's own unique elements. The ancient overlord also took interest in the inscribed history that told the events that occurred in the painted masterpiece.

'Truly the humans have always proven to be a specimen worth a fascination, to be able to produce artistical value and technology - despite their warmongering and putrid truthful nature - however it is through those that such are built to creation.'

Then his thoughts wandered to the Orks, their technological abilities to craft and produce peculiar weapons in spite of that it was made by scraps and junks - yet still unworldly works - that it marvels the ancient overlord;

To an extent, the necron suspected it had to do with the psychic energy belonging to the Orks - WAAGH - allowing the Orks the Power of Believe that in the overlord's reports and prior understanding that the WAAGH is the cause that allows an Ork to build the unimaginable working device. Despite that, it shouldn't at all function even.

But as the brilliant and towering lord compared all the others in the grim dark galaxy, he returned to being smitten and endowed by the marvelous arts around. Moving on accompanied by the music of exploding shells and the faint sounds of gunfire as background, it wasn't until a nasty sight made him scowl in disappointment as he looks at the dead corpse that had half its chest gone.

'How inappropriate to leave such distasteful sight here. But it would be a waste of resources if I just disintegrate it.'

It was then when the ancient overlord began to let cybertronic insect-creatures crawl to the corpse and began surgery. 'As suspected, the body is not quite dead yet – wonderful – how much I can do with this.'

"Now then, back to my original goal. Where is my artifact – Puppet of Chaos."

The anger that emits from the Ancient Necron Overlord was made known and loud – as he fathoms at the nerve to steal what he had deemed his prized.

Meanwhile…

A wandering woman survivor puked at the foul stench and the gruesome scene – a man without a head – as its gooey matters stuck to the walls and everywhere else. As she continued to heave the content she has had, the graphical imagery that she had witnessed rewinds involuntarily within her mind though she shut her eyes closed.

'I need to get away from here! The one that must have done this must surely still be here!'

With teary eyes, she scurried away as she regretted having decided to be away from home, and far from her mother. 'Mom, I'm terrified…'

The young teenager was alone and petrified at the situation that unfolded around her. On every street, at every corner, and in alleyways – there were rotting corpses – even within buildings. Having witnessed so much death, and their nasty wounds, she feared that she could be next to experience a terrible and excruciating death.

However, despite the fear that threatens to consume the young teenager, her adrenaline to survive kept the girl able to perform acrobatic stunts to transverse through the war zone city.

Climbing and jumping, crouching and crawling. The young girl met and done through all the hardship and obstacles on the way to reach home. The effort that she has put to evade death that dwelled at every corner has been successful thus far until misfortune struck as she landed terribly.

As an involuntary yelp screams out as the pain registered, she did her best to keep the tone down as she inspected the sprained ankle. 'Oh no, shit! It hurts!'

Tears began to slide down the poor girl's cheek, not due to the pain that came when pressure was applied as she tried to stand. But instead, the horrifying thought to be unable to escape should she be discovered. 'Damn it, damn it, damn it! How can I run now?! What am I supposed to do?! I-I can't even stand up!'

In a pitiful scene, she cried quietly – failing in some moments to keep the sobs in check to not be heard.

Forced to take a shelter within the many ruined buildings, the injured girl limped inside the many rooms to take a rest, hoping that she would be hidden and far from sight to be discovered.

Surrounded by the large pile of various objects, she had successfully barricaded herself within the walls she has made to obstruct her from being seen by any that should stumble into the room for inspection. The makeshift walls were made to look 'natural' so that no one would hint to think about checking underneath and behind the camouflage made.

It was not long until the poor girl has dozed off after the long hectic day that when she awoke, she reckoned it was over past evening. It was also not long before she realized she wasn't alone in the room.

Movements stumbled upon the room, quick yet oddly quiet despite the multiple or more entities that roamed and inspected the place. But when her fear had returned and the traumatic sights she had witnessed earlier before returned in flashing lights – her breathing became rampant as she tried to hopelessly control it. Then just like that, she was discovered;

By soldiers in striking gas masks and their large trench coats.

"I-Is that a kid?!" Another soldier, a woman jumped in between the two boogeymen that silently stared right back at her until the woman brought her back to reality. "You hurt kid?! Ah damn, that's a nasty injury on your ankle. Here let me patch you up."

Before the kid even knew it, tears flooded her eyes as her vision became blurry. The uncontainable raw emotions that cried out as she sobs uncontrollably – emotional to wrap the idea she was safe – the reality of the concept sink in as it continuously looped within her mind.

Too wrapped up in the thought, the teenage girl didn't comprehend that she was being consoled and hugged securely by the woman soldier. But even as she came to that realization, she instead further clung on to the soldier as both of them rock side to side.

When the girl has finally calmed, thanks to the security the soldiers provided and their presence, the poor sobbing mess of a girl earlier has become rather docile. "Is she alright?" Nick displayed concern as he watched the girl staring blankly into space, as though the young teenager wasn't herself.

"Yeah she will be in due time, the shock must have put her in that state but she'll be fine. Just give her some time and space to adjust." Sandra replied as both took a glance at the poor girl they had fortunately found.

'I can't bear to imagine if we never found her out here…'

The sad thought clouded Sandra's mind until silence consumed the conversation and soon the entirety of the room.

That was until Nick was reminded about the mention of 'Necron' that he had overheard. "Hey, by the way, what is this 'Necron' thing is about?" the large man had curiously asked, and it appeared he wasn't the only one interested in the subject.

By the bed, another woman who was wounded sat by the side as she too listened on. "An ancient species who traded their organic bodies in favor of metal." The explanation has been short and simple, but the listener seemed to get the gist of it, despite the lack of a detailed explanation.

"So technically, these 'ancient' species became immortals?" a woman with neck-length hair inquired before yet another simple short answer was given. "Yes."

At this point, even the young girl who have been staring blankly was piqued at the interesting bizarre subject.

"Are those robots that were chasing me – Necrons?" her voice captured all the soldiers' attention, except the Grenadier who remained on guard against any enemy outside. But when the soldier with the terrifying gas mask just looked staringly at her, she averted her eyes away from the gaze.

"No those aren't Necrons since I can say without a doubt those junks aren't capable of collective thoughts as any sentient being should – former or not." Nick jokingly played around to lighten the mood only for it to be shot down by the Watchmaster.

"The Necrons lost their consciousness in pursuit of immortality. Now, those ancient beings became nothing more than moving metal. Except the few who became Overlords and kept their consciousness intact."

The Watchmaster displayed a great knowledge on the topic that even the Grenadier had to take a glance at his superior as she lectured the ignorant humans.

"Hey kid, you finally alright?" Nick acquired as the girl gave a gentle nod and then a pout as she looked away as she muttered. "Sorry, did you say anything?"

"I am not a kid y'know, I'm a teenager. I'm a young adult!"

At the outburst, the man looked to his partner for guidance, which she only offered an amused smile and then a shrug. "Sure kid" and the banter begins.

It wasn't long until Alex has sufficiently rested that she began to stand on her own. "Sorry to interrupt your banter, children" the Director eyed both the grown adult and the young teenager under her intense gaze that shut both their ranting mouths up, which allowed her the room to speak.

"But anyway, we still need to get back to HQ while we still can – who knows when we might get surrounded or cut off."

In an agreement, the group prepared to get a move on, while the Director talked to the young lady. "What is your name?"

"Emelia…"

"Okay Emelia, when we're out on the street. I need you to do exactly as you're told. If I say hide – you hide for cover – and stick close, we can't protect you if you don't stay close, am I understood?"

But when Emelia only responded with a nod, the woman wasn't pleased as she needed to make sure the girl knew and understood so she inquired; "Words Emelia, do you understand?" and when the girl finally got a grip she responded immediately, "Yes I understand!"

"Good. Now everyone else, check your equipment and gears. Be also reminded we have a civilian with us, keep it in mind. Alright, let's move."
